Dropped dog off for bath ,was told that I would be called when he was ready for pickup. I never received call. Clinic closed without a call. Luckily some staff members were still there. I was told my dog was forgotten about.. because they were really busy. I'm leary of returning my pet to a place that cannot keep track of him.

The services here are ok but these clerks have no idea how to keep records in order. I brought in a deceased pet and they screwed up all the records. They asked no questions about the account when the pet was dropped off and the cremation services were paid for. So they didn't have a number to reach me at when the services were complete. They didn't even have my name on the card that they gave me when i picked up the remains. That is not something you want to go through after the loss of a pet you had for 20years! Complete lack of regard!
Update!
I received a call from the manager who was apologetic about my experience there. It's a shame this happened. If not for her compassion and understanding I would not be coming back with my other pets. Thank you for the call!

The vets at HPAC have been giving extraordinary care to all my pets for, hmm, 40 years I think. All of the doctors that have come and gone have been wonderful in various ways. I would like to give a huge shout of appreciation and thank you and gratitude to Dr. Williams who took care of my cat Pearl for so long and was so king and caring when it came time to let her go. I know that this clinic has a little reputation for long phone holds and in recent years getting the right location on the phone, but everyone there is so kind and so helpful that those little inconveniences seem so minor in comparison. I was nervous about boarding my dog there cause I've never left him anywhere. They were nice enough to give me a tour, give lots of info and answered every single question I had. I've only encountered one bad experience here and that was last year with the same Dr. (Rodriguez) Everyone else on here complained about- she was horrible & has no business practicing in this field. Besides that one bad experience, everything else was awesome! I highly recommend Hyde Park Animal Hospital

Dr. Wake and team are ROCKSTARS. Hershey - my baby - saw him, Dr. Williams, Dr. Bailey and Dr. Henry also, like once. Then, we moved to Florida. We've been in Tampa 2 years and if I could put him in the car and drive him there for his appointments, I would! I just had the most hideous vet experience on Friday and I couldn't even call Dr. Wake & team because the vet hadn't done ONE test or x-ray for me to reference. VERY hopeful for the knowledge and skill of the veterinary team we'll be visiting in the morning for a consultation. Just occurred to me to share my thoughts about my favorite vets. So many great stories about the vets and the front desk staff. Thank you, thank you, thank you ALL for making the first 8 years of me being a pet mom wonderful. Hershey loves you and at 10, he's in better shape because of many things you shared with me about how to best care for him.

Dakota goes to the 53rd Street location where he gets nothing but good love and care from Dr. Henry, Brittany, Patty, and Zach where every he may be and noe new comers eve and Quinton and nope i am not forgetting Natalie. He has his first wash and works with her and I am grateful because like everyone knows he can't be found robin around to different people and Cindy got him looking and smelling so fresh so clean and he will be there next month and on regular basis. Thanks Dakota team for looking out for him

It's frustrating because I haven't gotten the answers I paid for and my rabbit's condition is only getting worse. Just awful! I just want answers so I can get her the meds she needs to fix it and get her better. All I needed was 10 mins. of his time but I'm being treated as if my bunny's case is not important enough.

When a specialist was needed, they gave a referral that worked out well. I've trusted them for both routine vaccination and other well-pet care, as well as dealing with sickness and end-of-life issues.

This is an all comprehensive facility with excellent and knowledge doctors. State of the art. I knew my pet needed blood work and x-rays and I didn't want to wait days for the results. I got them in minutes and was able to decide the best course of action with a same day consultation. Doctors are very thorough. The receptionist was kind enough to find me a same day schedule to fit my needs. Services are a little on the high side but not exorbitant. Brand new and spotless clean facility with ample parking. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful experience with Hyde Park Animal Hospital. We got a same-day appointment, and the entire staff was friendly and helpful. Dr. Williams was very patient with our dog, Luna. He and his assistant calmed her anxiety and provided a thorough exam to determine the cause of her swollen leg. She's been doing great since taking the prescribed medications.

I love this place! Been taking my two year old pitty here since he was a pup. Dr. Williams is the best hands down. The staff is beyond friendly and very nice and informative. I was nervous about boarding my dog there cause I've never left him anywhere. They were nice enough to give me a tour, give lots of info and answered every single question I had. I've only encountered one bad experience here and that was last year with the same Dr. (Rodriguez) Everyone else on here complained about- she was horrible & has no business practicing in this field. Besides that one bad experience, everything else was awesome! I highly recommend Hyde Park Animal Hospital

Dr. Wake and team are ROCKSTARS. Hershey - my baby - saw him, Dr. Williams, Dr. Bailey and Dr. Henry also, like once. Then, we moved to Florida. We've been in Tampa 2 years and if I could put him in the car and drive him there for his appointments, I would! I just had the most hideous vet experience on Friday and I couldn't even call Dr. Wake & team because the vet hadn't done ONE test or x-ray for me to reference. VERY hopeful for the knowledge and skill of the veterinary team we'll be visiting in the morning for a consultation. Just occurred to me to share my thoughts about my favorite vets. So many great stories about the vets and the front desk staff. Thank you, thank you, thank you ALL for making the first 8 years of me being a pet mom wonderful. Hershey loves you and at 10, he's in better shape because of many things you shared with me about how to best care for him.

Hyde park animal clinic has just doubled their stars with me although it lets me only give 5. Dakota goes to the 53rd Street location where he gets nothing but good love and care from Dr. Henry, Brittany, Patty, and Zach where every he may be and noe new comers eve and Quinton and nope i am not forgetting Natalie. Now I am adding CINDY to the Dakota team
He has his first wash and works with her and I am grateful because like everyone knows he can't be found robin around to different people and Cindy got him looking and smelling so fresh so clean and he will be there next month and on regular basis. Thanks Dakota team for looking out for him

They have helped me with the illnesses of my cats. They not only are competent and cost-effective vets, they understand how emotional owners are about their animals and are very kind. Dr. Wake and Dr. Williams are the best vets I've ever had. And when it came time to put my pet down, they were understanding. Definitely recommend.

I haven't heard from Dr. Williams in regards to my rabbit's blood test and I was promised that he would get back to me by tonight. It's frustrating because I haven't gotten the answers I paid for and my rabbit's condition is only getting worse. Just awful! I just want answers so I can get her the meds she needs to fix it and get her better. All I needed was 10 mins. of his time but I'm being treated as if my bunny's case is not important enough.

There have been several location changes, and different doctors and support staff, but I have never been unhappy with their service. When a specialist was needed, they gave a referral that worked out well. I've trusted them for both routine vaccination and other well-pet care, as well as dealing with sickness and end-of-life issues.

This is an all comprehensive facility with excellent and knowledge doctors. State of the art. I knew my pet needed blood work and x-rays and I didn't want to wait days for the results. I got them in minutes and was able to decide the best course of action with a same day consultation. Doctors are very thorough. The receptionist was kind enough to find me a same day schedule to fit my needs. Services are a little on the high side but not exorbitant. Brand new and spotless clean facility with ample parking. Highly recommended!
