Thank you Mayfair for making my seniors feel so welcome. Rosita and Ernesto got their nails trimmed and vaccine. There was a lovely sign as we walked in the room . Little things makes us felt a bit calmer . I was so nervous going to a new clinic . Prices were reasonable for us . Staff were friendly and very understanding. My Rosita was sick with GI problems. My Ernesto was so nervous and soiled himself . Was embarrassed, but staff just cleaned it right up and continued to do his check up . I'm very grateful . Great experience. Read Less

We've been going to Mayfair for over 30 years. Their vets are caring and extremely good. We've had five cats in that time, two with serious health conditions towards the end of their lives. They taught us how to inject insulin into the one with diabetes, giving him more than a full extra year of life, and irrigate the one with partial kidney failure, keeping her with us for another year and a half. And when it has been time to let them go, they've been wonderful, giving us a little extra time to cry and say goodbye, and letting us stay as long we needed to compose ourselves. They were afraid of my dog simply because he is a pit bull. The lady seemed scared to get near him and basically just poked him really fast. And they are expensive compared to other veterinarians I have been to. Read Less

My mother started coming to this vet back in the 70s when she was a teenager and had gotten her first dog...40+ years later and we still drive down to Chicago from the northern suburbs to see Dr. Mike and his amazing staff. I have been using this animal clinic since the 1960s. I first brought my cats to see Dr. Mike's father, Vladimir Fedniak. Dr. Mike is only a couple of years younger than me, and I remember when he went off to veterinary school. One reason I remain loyal is that my animals are confident and less frightened here.
