13 years ago this vet saved my kittens life when 3 other vets told me to put him down. I came to his office in tears. When we got Gilly he had severe head tilt Dr Malankis said I can save him but I can't promise you how long he will live. He will be 14 and I am for ever gracious for this vet. I don’t want to explain my really bad experience with this hospital cause they don’t deserve any attention. Especially there was an old man with gray beard who doesn’t really know how to act with his customers. He was rude and disrespectful. Absolutely not recommended place. Love Milaknis! Been bringing my boo's here for years. Lived in Lincoln square for many years and moved to Logan about two years ago but we still bring them. Dr. Adams (Jim) is awesome! My lil man can be a bit difficult but Dr. Jim knows how to tame my wild little beast. I appreciate that he always attempts to be very cost efficient and exhausts alternatives before resorting to expensive methods for treatment. Not that we aren't willing to drop the $$$ because we certainty are for our babies! We definitely entrust them to care for our dogs as the treatments have been methodical and they are honest if what is needed is beyond what they can provide. They have referred us to the speciality center in Buffalo Grove and have worked with them to treat our babies. Greatly appreciate Milaknis! Read Less

Dr. Adams is always so helpful. Other animal hospitals I've been to try to "sell" their services. Add this, do this, do that. In the end, the bill is always very high. What I like about Milaknis is that they are trustworthy and genuinely interested in the well-being of your pet. Because of their low prices and personable care, I have no qualms about bringing my dog to the vet! During my last visit to Milaknis, I had my pup neutered (which included an exam, blood panel and antibiotics), microchipped and vaccinated (rabies, distemper, parovirus etc.) all for $376. Read Less
