I have been coming to see this veterinarian for many of years. The love he and his staff shows for you and your pets are amazing and great. My Boxer just had (6) pups that I had to nurse, which they assisted me with after three died from moms suffocation of them. They made the transitioning easy. And never made me feel like I was asking to many questions concerning raising these pups nor that my questions were dumb. I don't know how this place is,I've been trying to get ahold of someone at this location for three hours and no one answers, If this is an indication of the service that they provide, I'm good. We have many experiences with this clinic. They are very professional, kind and compassionate. We recently put our little girl to rest and they were so patient with us. They allowed us to stay with her as long as we wanted without being rushed. Dr. Bhaskar is really good at what he does. all he has to do is look at your pet, and he knows what the problem is. Great vet, people are super friendly. We just started going there and they are very reasonable and honest. Even for flea tick medicine, I was ready to buy 5 pills and he recommended to buy the liquid from Walmart because it would be more  affordable, its hard to find honest people, this is a great place to take your pets for any vet needs. Both of my dogs are patients at Seligman Animal Hospital. I highly recommend them! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. One of my dogs is very old and has several chronic medical issues. Dr. Bathala and the staff are wonderful. I've been here twice so far but I am very satisfied with the service. They were able to examine my rambunctious puppy and wailing cat, give them each 2 shots, and get us out the door much quicker than I expected. The doctor was so gentle with them that my cat (who is rarely taken out of the house or around strangers) was calm enough to sit still on the table and receive his shots without a sound. I didn't even have to hold him down.Weekends can get a little hectic with so many different animals being brought in, but the care is just as great. Plus, it's fun to pass the time talking to the other pet owners about their animals.Overall, Seligman Animal Hospital has been amazing so far. I'll definitely be bringing my pets here routinely. I had read reviews on Seligman's elsewhere online and other people had seemed to have had good experiences. I was on a tight budget for my cat who chronically has problems and my current vet at the time was on the pricy side, so I decided to give them a try.First impressions of the place didn't settle my doubts on venturing elsewhere. The lobby was dirty and hadn't been updated since the 70's. There was one person ahead of me and I had a pretty short wait despite not having an appointment, which they don't take - it's a walk-in clinic. When I got to see the doctor, he was hard to understand with a thick accent. He didn't take any of my concerns seriously, and after trying to discuss the issues of my feline, I just gave up and let him talk. I left with no answers and comfort. I left and he didn't charge me a fee for the visit, but I ended up having to go to an ER clinic (Furnetic)  after and paid a hefty dime...but I got a diagnosis and meds for my pet. Read Less

If you're looking for a caring vet whose main concern is the well being of your pet; definitely check out Dr. Bhaskar at the Seligman Animal Hospital.Th parking lot and the outside of the office isn't much to look at, but DO NOT let that deter you from going in. Two of my three dogs were rescues from Dr. Bhaskar and he's been our vet since 1986. It is a commute for us from Westchester, but i would never consider anyone else.Dr. Bhaskar takes the time to get to know your pet and he is invested in their care completely. He takes his time to address your concerns and he offers thoughtful solutions to health issues.The staff is super sweet. Linda the receptionist has been there FOREVER and just knows us by our faces.Unlike many vets, Dr. Bhaskar's prices aren't exorbitant. A typical office visit runs around $40 and if you're tight on cash he works with you to get a payment plan...his main concern is that your pet is taken care of.He does provide the usual services and he does do surgeries and dental stuff also.I was waiting to pick up my dog the other day and heard another owner tell the receptionist  that the vet she first took her dog to in Hinsdale spent 5 minutes with her dog and diagnosed him with allergies and put him on a steroid. when the dog got even worse after the meds her friend told her about Dr. Bhaskar. After Dr. Bhaskar took a good twenty minutes to look over the doggie, he found an abscess in the dog's throat which the steroids were making worse. So the doc got the doggie on the right treatment plan and he's doing better (this was their follow up visit)so again, definitely bring your pets here for superb care! Read Less
