I just left and I must say the woman vet was the best. I could really tell she cared about my Princeton (dog). I just got him 3 days ago and he had no shots and was suffering from a bad case of worms, I thought he was going to die on me. She immediately knew he was sick and knew exactly what to do for a affordable price. I am proud to say this will be my new vet. Thank you guys so much, and also the assistant was very pleasant and concerned also. I am very pleased with them and will always recommend.

Was a long time client of the original owner however he sold the practice to the new owners. What a bad decision that was. From day 1 they were and are all about MONEY. Previous owner loved animals new owners don't charge a bit. I remember seeing a pigeon with a broken wing walking around the office bc a client brought it in for the original owner to heal.
Here are my experiences:
1. Attempted to overcharge for boarding fees had to get them straight on that
2. Attempted to overcharge for ear cleaning I went elsewhere
3. Attempted to overcharge for medicine which I know that animal Rxs are human RXs though much cheaper to go to a regular pharmacy then purchase it from here which I have been doing for years. He threaten to not give a script for my dogs medicine unless I purchased it from him
4. Extremely rude
5. Extremely dirty
Suggestion:
1. Though I try to support businesses in my community however I avoid this clinic at all cost
2. If the new owner wants to overcharge then the entire facility should be modernized and kept clean.
Every year there is an free event in Chicago that vaccinates and chips dogs please use their services and allow this place to suffer financially. Don't give this place a dime.

This new vet is horrible. Took my cat and immediately he tells me he has cancer. He needed to have all these test. My cat was constipated and the old vet told me to go to another office on Chicago ave and Hamlin. This young lady who ran this office was just like the new vet guy . Money hungry. Nickel and dime you to death and then after I paid 250.00 she wanted additional money to clean my cat up.Really 250 and it didn't include a bath for my cat. These two vet offices are now run by a father and daughter team who's only purpose is to see how much more money they could charge.

Read the reviews before coming here and took the chance anyway. I didn't catch the doctor's name but the woman and her assistants are saints. You can tell that they love animals and want to help people keep their pets healthy.
The man on the other hand, I'm not sure of his name either but he has a middle eastern accent and you can tell that his work staff are absolutely disguted by his practices. He wanted to charge me $10 per tooth for getting my dogs teeth cleaned(and some of them pulled), after a price of $140 for cleaning. This didn't include lab work, grooming, or vaccines which would've cost extra: $80 for two vaccines and more for lab work.
I want to say it wasn't like this before him, I feel for the people that have to work under this vet now. They must be so heartbroken when people who legitimately want to take care of their animals simply cannot afford these exorbitant prices. I did see on the reviews that maybe over a year ago it wasn't like this, but unfortunately this practice has been taken over by a money hungry veterinarian who doesn't care about running this clinic into the ground.
To the ladies that helped me: start your own practice and all those loyal clients you had before will come, including myself. I truly was touched by your kindness and caring and wish you both the best in any and all future endeavors.
To the man: shame on you for running this place to the ground. I seriously hope all your bad karma comes back on you for squeezing every last penny out of these people and ruining a once prestigious neighborhood clinic.
To current and future customers: consider alternatives until a change of ownership.

I originally started going to this vet because he was cheap. There was an old school European vet there. Then a another vet came in and killed my sister's dog by giving him too much anesthesia. He forced my vet to retire and raised the prices. Now I only take my dog there for his shots or for minor stuff. If my animals need anything major, I'll take them to a "real" vet that won't kill my animal and then just shrug it off like it doesn't matter.

I hear people go here for the price... of course it'll be cheaper if you let your dog share needles! A friend needed a ride to this vet so I went with them. We walked in in the early afternoon and it was horrifying. The place smelled like cat piss and vomit. The door to the exam room was wide open. There was an unconscious dog laying on an exam table. They saw us walk in and slammed the door shut. We waited around for a bit and the owners left, with no dog. Afterward the vet appeared behind the counter, slapped on some gloves, told us she'd be ready in a bit, and grabbed a roll of black heavy duty garbage bags. We heard her open up the bags and drag them away. When she finally opened the exam room door the place stunk like bleach so she sprayed some febreeze to cover the stench up. Left the friends dog so terrified she escaped the exam room and hid between my legs in the waiting room. Something's definitely not right here, I'm surprised it hasn't been shut down yet.

About 2 weeks ago I brought my kitten to get spayed. About a week after the surgery I noticed horrible scar tissue around where her stitches were. It was obvious they stitched her up absolutely without any care. The wound kept getting worse and worse and when we took her back to get the stitches out they said that the doctor is new and is still practicing. I'm sorry but my animal is not an experiment for you to practice on. She is now left with a terrible scar. Do not take any animal for surgery here.

WOW.. When delta Animal Clinic Physicians took over, I knew the prices would skyrocket and they did.. every shot and office visit was almost double of triple of what Im used to paying. This is a neighborhood that looks for low cost vacs for their pets, The fee's here are just too much. I understand the original Vet is getting older, I will miss him.
if you need an example of costs, The original cost for Rabis etc and office visit was $80.. Now it's $200.. Per PET ..
I hope the new owners do not burn this place down with their prices :(

Our neighbors asked us to watch their dog while they went on vacation. When their pet got sick they insisted we take him to this vet. I was concerned about the pet possibly having an infection. I speak some Polish and questioned the way he did his surgery. They told me I ask too many questions. They were rude and dismissive. The dog was terrified of this vet. I begged these neighbors to take their dog somewhere else but because it's a cheap and I mean CHEAP old fashioned vet they will keep going there. It's awful and scary. I would never take a pet there for any treatment.

The new Indian vet nearly killed my dog when I went in there for a simple antibiotic shot and script for his diarrhea. I told the doctor not to inject a rabies shot 5x because my dog is ill and he went and did it anyways. The negligence and ignorance that new owner has displayed, not only to the animal but the owners request is baffling and concerning. This was my clinic when the Polish vet was the head doctor but I will no longer be coming here due to the ignorance the new vet had displayed. Unbelievable, would not recommend going remotely close to this new vet. He is apathetic to animals and ignorant.

you would be crazy not to want to $ave Money!! I found out about this place from my next door neighbor. He said that it was a bit of a hole in the wall and granted the Vet has been here for Decades. The price is CHEAP! .. If you want to save a little money.. you could always just come here to get your dogs shots and continue for checkups with your vet. for 2 Dogs with all shots for the year typically costs me $450.. I paid $160 for Everything! and whats really interesting.. People with their EXPENSIVE DOGS were in there getting shots for their dogs. These folks were driving from Napperville, Schaumburg, Bollingbrook and the Gold Coast.. Yea.. they may have a little Extra $$ but they aren't stupid to pass up a deal ;)

I just left and I must say the woman vet was the best. I could really tell she cared about my Princeton (dog). I just got him 3 days ago and he had no shots and was suffering from a bad case of worms, I thought he was going to die on me. She immediately knew he was sick and knew exactly what to do for a affordable price. I am proud to say this will be my new vet. Thank you guys so much, and also the assistant was very pleasant and concerned also. I am very pleased with them and will always recommend.

He forced my vet to retire and raised the prices. Now I only take my dog there for his shots or for minor stuff. If my animals need anything major, I'll take them to a "real" vet that won't kill my animal and then just shrug it off like it doesn't matter.

It was obvious they stitched her up absolutely without any care. The wound kept getting worse and worse and when we took her back to get the stitches out they said that the doctor is new and is still practicing. WOW.. When delta Animal Clinic Physicians took over, I knew the prices would skyrocket and they did.. every shot and office visit was almost double of triple of what Im used to paying. This is a neighborhood that looks for low cost vacs for their pets, The fee's here are just too much. I understand the original Vet is getting older, I will miss him.
if you need an example of costs, The original cost for Rabis etc and office visit was $80.. Now it's $200.. Per PET ..
I hope the new owners do not burn this place down with their prices :(

Prices went up a lot without reasons.
And they would charge for extra services which your pets don't even need. BE AWARE!!! STAY AWAY!!!

Our neighbors asked us to watch their dog while they went on vacation. When their pet got sick they insisted we take him to this vet. I was concerned about the pet possibly having an infection. I speak some Polish and questioned the way he did his surgery. They told me I ask too many questions. They were rude and dismissive. The dog was terrified of this vet. I begged these neighbors to take their dog somewhere else but because it's a cheap and I mean CHEAP old fashioned vet they will keep going there. It's awful and scary. I would never take a pet there for any treatment.

The new Indian vet nearly killed my dog when I went in there for a simple antibiotic shot and script for his diarrhea. I told the doctor not to inject a rabies shot 5x because my dog is ill and he went and did it anyways. The negligence and ignorance that new owner has displayed, not only to the animal but the owners request is baffling and concerning. This was my clinic when the Polish vet was the head doctor but I will no longer be coming here due to the ignorance the new vet had displayed. Unbelievable, would not recommend going remotely close to this new vet. He is apathetic to animals and ignorant.

Wonderful vet Doctor. He was very caring and did excellent work on the my poodle that was badly mauled by a pit mix. Took her in right away and worked in her right away. Thank you Dr. Popowycz.

I give this place one star for the lack of work did on my dog who was recently spayed here. Who ever stitched her up did a shitty job & did not care about my dog. Great place to get you dig vaccinated...

you would be crazy not to want to $ave Money!! I found out about this place from my next door neighbor. He said that it was a bit of a hole in the wall and granted the Vet has been here for Decades. The price is CHEAP! .. If you want to save a little money.. you could always just come here to get your dogs shots and continue for checkups with your vet. for 2 Dogs with all shots for the year typically costs me $450.. I paid $160 for Everything! and whats really interesting.. People with their EXPENSIVE DOGS were in there getting shots for their dogs. These folks were driving from Napperville, Schaumburg, Bollingbrook and the Gold Coast.. Yea.. they may have a little Extra $$ but they aren't stupid to pass up a deal ;)
