Nice, clean facility. Can be a little more pricy, but you get what you pay for! They have a high standard of medicine and employees that really care about an animals well-being. Its a clinic that does thorough diagnostics and tries to find a reason why so they can treat appropriately, rather than keep trying medications to "see if it works". Bellson has the best team in the area. Dr. Rita was our primary vet and took excelent care of my boys ,3 pugs a senior puggle and a kitten. We had to move away this year but I would recomend the team to anyone. We had neuters, one was difficult.We had a cancerous tumor and a few ear infections.There is nothing this team can't handle and they all held my hand while I worried . If u have to put ur furry friend down....I would strongly encourage u NOT to use Bellson! They will only tape ur lil angel n a empty office supply box. And instead of wrapping them up nice & snug in a blanket or towel...they put my fella in what seemed to b a hefty bag. I never have seen this done by a veterinarian before. I hope I never will again. I was mortified! Not to mention the bill was 390.00. I guess the bill didn't tally enough for these people to even wrap him in a tattered old towel. Such a same. Such disregard!!! Read Less

This is by far the worst animal clinic I have ever been to. You would be better off taking your pet anywhere else! All they care about is charging you an arm and a leg and once they've exhausted all your limbs after promising they'd save your pet they let them die. I took my cat in with a minor bite wound. As my cat was going into shock, they refused to help him until I payed them $500 on the spot. It took me about an hour to come up with money. They waited until then before doing anything. They don't care about their patients, just their pockets. Thinking they would clean out the wound, making sure it wasn't infected I agreed to the amount. They said they could save him. After bringing him home, I noticed he was dripping blood from the 1 staple. I called them immediately and they said that's normal, it would go away. It didn't and persisted the next day. I took him back for them to fix it where they hadn't the first time. They charged me for coming in and said they weren't worried about it. The next day things continued to get worse. I brought him first thing the next morning and they said they would have to do surgery immediately because of an infection. They said unless I paid $700 right then he would die, and that wasn't even including the charges for the surgery that would also have to be paid on the spot. I told them I didn't have that on me at the moment, but I probably could tomorrow. They sent me to an emergency clinic that said they could treat him. After rushing him to the clinic, 30 minutes away, they said they couldn't treat him, that they weren't experienced enough to perform that surgery which the vet told me they had called them beforehand and said that they could. That vet charged me 1/3 the amount to make him stable enough to transport to yet another vet. The vet also told me that this infection could have been treated Monday, which I thought had been done at their office. They also told me he was never given strong enough antibiotics. When I called the vet again to see if they could perform the surgery, they said they were all booked up that they could have earlier. I decided to take him to the trusted vet back home immediately. He died about 30 minutes later on the way. They can't treat minor infections. My pet had no internal bleeding, no broken bones. If I had taken him anywhere else he would have survived. If you love your pets don't take them there. Treat them at home yourself, you'd have a better chance of their survival. My aunt experienced a similar situation at the very same clinic. Her pet also died from a similar mild,easily treatable infection. They killed my best friend. I buried him at home today, in blood, sweat, and tears. He will be deeply missed. I hope this post will save someone else's pet. Read Less

Dr. Clinebell handles my 2 dogs, 3 cats, and 8 horses. He also provides care to several of my boarded horses. I couldn't ask for better care and perspective. He's been my vet for the last several years. I believe in him so much that when I was preparing to buy my own property, I asked how far he was willing to drive from his office. If he doesn't have the answer, he is willing to research and consult with other experts throughout the country; a trait I truly respect. He and his assistants always checks on pets receiving non-routine care and are very empathetic throughout all care. Read Less

I just want to say THANK YOU so very much for the wonderful staff. I had to take my Rot in to be euthanized due to old age. It was one of the hardest things I have had to do in a very very long time. I had him for 14 years and he was my baby. The staff there was so great and caring and understanding. My family has taken five indoor cats and one outdoor horse to the vets here, and now I take my own cat. There's is no better care for your animals around. The prices are incredibly reasonable, but more than that, the quality of care is superb. The facility is clean and up-to-date, and the staff is friendly and knowledgable. I would take my pets to any of the three veterinarians, although currently I use Dr. Carr. She's incredibly patient, both with me and my cat, and is always happy to answer my questions and explain what she's doing. Dr. Ryerson spent a lot of time helping my family find an appropriate diet for some of our older cats, and Dr. Clinebell was willing to make a housecall when my grandmother's cats needed to be put down and she wanted their last minutes to be at home.Bellson, to me, is a clinic that is out to help you better care for your animals, not to gouge your wallet. I won't take my pets anywhere else, even though I now have to travel from Missouri for appointments. Read Less
