I honestly wish I could give this place 0 stars! This had just been the place we would take our dog for her shots, because they were fairly inexpensive. She was still young (6), and never really had any health issues. They had all her records, so I feel like they could have easily diagnosed her if they paid attention. Our first issue was when she started losing weight, kept drinking a ton of water, and urinating a lot. They claimed she just had a UTI, and gave us medicine for it. These problems persisted after she was done with her medicine. Still no solution. We moved in the beginning of 2016, and didn't plan on using them as our primary vet. Unfortunately, we had to return to them in May. Our dog seemed fine one morning, nothing out of the ordinary. We went out that afternoon to run errands, and when we got back, we noticed she was bumping into stuff. After taking a closer look, we noticed she had blood in her eyes. It was about 6 pm, and all the other vets around us had closed. We debated on waiting until the morning, because we really didn't want to go here. But we were worried, so we just made an appointment and went in. Our appointment was for 8:30, and we weren't even seen by the vet until after 9. The vet then told us that because it was so late, they may not have time to test for everything.... after making us wait that whole time. She tested a few things, all came back negative. She decided to do a chest x-ray. She told us there was a tiny bit of inflammation, and said it could've just been a small case of bronchitis. She said our dog could've coughed a lot, and burst vessels in her eyes. Then mentioned it could be lymphoma, but that was highly unlikely. She gave us a steroid and an antibiotic, then sent us on our way. Our dog was on the medicine for the duration of the prescription, and seemed fine during that time. They never called to check up on her though. 2-3 weeks later, the problem came back and with what seemed like heavy breathing. We decided we were NOT taking her back there, because they clearly missed something.Turns out it WAS lymphoma, and they had missed all the signs. (Frequent urination, extreme thirst, weight loss, inflammation, and the blood in her eyes was the cancer spreading there.) It was in her liver, spleen, entire front lymph nodes. The steroid they had put her on happens to be used in a lot of cancer treatments in dogs- to help with inflammation- and that's why she seemed to get better. It also made it so we had to do a biopsy, more invasive and expensive, rather than a simple test for it because something about it alters the cells. The first thing this new vet thought was cancer, and couldn't believe RRAH didn't check for it in the first place. By the time it was diagnosed, it was already too late. It seems like the vet at Randall was just in a hurry that night, and was just willing to say whatever to get us out the door. I would've even been okay if she had suggested we come back the next day to test for cancer, because it meant she checked for anything she even remotely suspected. But nope, we didn't even get that suggestion. It's also a bit irritating that she prescribed a medication that could interfere with being able to diagnose cancer as well! We went in shortly after our dog was diagnosed so we could get her records. We told them what happened, and they never even said sorry or called to check on her prognosis after that.I will NEVER return here, and I highly suggest taking your pets elsewhere! Read Less
