My husband and I are first-time puppy parents, and new to the area. We turned to our trusty friend Yelp for help with finding a vet, and boy, are we glad that we found this place.Dr. Lindsay and the staff here are fantastic with our dog, and always so helpful and efficient. During one appointment, we arrived a few minutes early and actually ended up being finished with the entire trip just minutes after our appointment was scheduled to begin. This, of course, isn't to say they aren't thorough - they're incredibly patient and kind, and you never feel rushed or hurried to quit asking questions. Dr. Lindsay provided me with a ton of guidance as we navigated puppy socialization, and always asks follow-up questions about issues I mentioned on previous visits. I also feel like the pricing is reasonable, although I've never compared it to other vets in the area. Above all, the entire team is amazing with our dog - she gets SO excited when we pull in the parking lot.There are vets that are closer to our home, but I wouldn't ever think about trusting anyone but these great folks with our furry family member. Dr. Eisenberg is really great. I've been taking my one bird to a different vet for the last 8 1/2 years, but can't always afford his services. I decided to try Dr. Eisenberg after reading rave reviews when my older bird & my new bird came down with respiratory infections. Dr. Eisenberg does most of the lab work in-house so it makes the cost very reasonable. It gives me peace of mind because you know what is happening right away instead of waiting days for lab work to be sent out & possibly further jeopardizing your pet's health since you're otherwise waiting days to start meds. Dr. Eisenberg seems to truly care about his patients & their owners, has a great bedside manner, answers all questions & is easily reachable if there's anything that you forgot to ask at your visit. This is a lovely practice which treats their patients well, and takes the time to explain any issues to the adult who brings the patient/s in -- thereby healing the group as a whole. I drive from Wayne IL rather than find a new vet. The reasons are: 1. Their willingness to answer questions 2. Treating my dogs IN the room (if at all possible, which is about 97% for me) 3. Were new to this business as we have switched vets with the death of our Westie and the birth of our Scottie. It is a cheerful place and perfectly located for us. Wonderful caring staff.  Last minute emergencies handled with no problems. Very good follow up on the status of sick animals. Housed in an actual little home, this practice provides a cozy atmosphere - at least for the humans . Animals are treated with tenderness and familiarity. All staff are great. Humans will feel confident in the medical care provided. My birds and dog have seen 3 doctors and I loved them all. We love All Creatures Great and Small!!! They have taken phenomenal care of both our rabbits. One of them had some difficulty recovering from his neuter surgery at a different clinic and Dr. Ken Eisenberg was able to get him back to his feisty little self in no time. We had our other bunny spayed through All Creatures and she did wonderfully! The staff is all incredibly friendly. Dr. Eisenburg is an excellent teacher and you can tell he enjoys his job. Each time he's gone above and beyond to spend time explaining what is going on with the bunnies, whether it's been illness or infection, and doesn't add unnecessary tests or treatments to your visit. This place is great!....Dr. Bowes is fantastic!! She is extremely caring and very skilled. My dog of 10 yrs had dental work and a growth taken off his eyelid. I was very apprehensive about the dental work because I had never had to do that with my other dog of 17 yrs. But because of the way his teeth were situated alot of the teeth weren't being used thereby going rotten.  Afterwards, my dog walked (ran) out of there like it was no big deal. Even with the pain pills and antibiotic, you would never know that he had any work done The eyelid and remaining teeth (she saved as many as she could) look great!! I was so relieved:-) My former vet wanted to charge 4X more! This was my 3rd estimate (1st time customer) and this will be the last time I go to anyone else with my pets. I could write thousands of pages on how over the top fantastic this practice is, but since few would read that much, I'll say this: there is no better vet around. I've been going here for about 13 years, first with chinchillas and then with dogs. I'm one of those so-called crazy pet people and Dr. E has never once failed my animals, not once. He never tries to up sell and has even told me a few times when a prescription is cheaper at Target! It's strange to hear someone talk about feeling "taken" by their vet, that's so crazy! I have never in my life written a review, however I was so over the moon impressed by Dr. Andrew Eisenberg and his team I couldn't resist. I normally dread taking my dog to the vet, in the past she comes home drowsy and I come home feeling swindled, but not this time. Maci was a ball of energy, so much so I followed up to see if her reaction was normal. Dr Eisenberg was knowledgeable about her breed, and gave me amazing advice! NOT ONCE did I feel like he was trying to sell me on something, which was very refreshing. The whole staff was very kind and gentle. I have spent hours at the vet offices waiting on someone to even come in the room, even on occasions when Maci was really sick, but from the moment I walked in to the (extremely charming) office I was taken care of, I never felt like I was waiting. This was such an amazing experience, I got in my car and texted everyone I knew that had animals, to tell them they should make an appointment. Amazing experience! We brought home a kitten that was found underneath a deck at an apartment complex, wanted to get the little guy or gal checked out.  Dr. Murnighan was so incredible with the little guy (confirmed) and so helpful to us.  I left feeling so relaxed and happy that we had a healthy new addition to our family.  We both have never had pets of our own, but Dr. Murnighan totally put us at ease.  Can't say enough good things about this place as a whole.  So happy we decided to come here, all the good reviews are well deserved!  I've read about some other vets not being "cat vets", this was not our experience at all, Dr. Murnighan held our kitty the entire time and loved him!  Highly recommend! Best vets in the area no doubt. They absolutely love your pets as much as you. They have now saved my beagle butts butt 2 times. She got sick last year and now again this year. Ate something and this year suffered pyometra. Shame on me for being that dumb owner but never once did they judge. I have been coming here now for several months. I can't say enough how happy I am to have chosen this clinic. All the staff is so kind and friendly, and they take plenty of time to discuss your pet's needs without rushing you out the door. I recently had to bring my beloved cat in because of an accidental ingestion of my dog's medication. I was out of town when it happened and I was kept fully informed and up to date on her condition via phone calls as I traveled home. Unfortunately a couple weeks later she had to be euthanized because of irreversible kidney damage. Doctor Andy Eisenberg, who had been caring for Autumn was there to make a horribly agonizing process as bearable as possible. This is the best vet EVER!!! I don't give many 5 stars but this place totally deserves it. Thanks to all you Yelpers, I found this wonderful veterinary practice. Exceptional service. Great prices. Wonderful care! I came in as a new patient, and my 7 year old dog needed his annual physical, rabies, and distemper vaccine. I also had concerns with his skin (an ongoing problem), and one of his teeth that was really loose and rotting (gross I know). The vaccines were priced at reasonable rates; I called other vets and it was the same. The tooth, my biggest concern, I asked if the vet could just numb it and pull it out. Dr. Murninghan took my dog back and said' "I'll see what I can do." He comes back a few minutes later with my dog's tooth gone! He said it came out easy and my dog didn't even cry!I was so so relieved that Dr. Murninghan took care of the tooth like that! My previous vet in Lombard wanted over $1000 to knock the dog out and extract the teeth! I was sent home with meds for my dog's skin, and a much happier pet. My dog was so so happy with his bad tooth gone; when we got home he was running around like a wild man! We took our 3 dogs to Dr. Eisenberg for years until we moved. I've never met a vet who will spend the time getting to know you and your animal. The staff were always welcoming and gentle with our dogs. I have yet to find a vet that can even compare to All Creatures in our new town. In February we adopted the sweetest dog around. (I know, everyone thinks their dog is the best. Ours actually is.) Link is a 15-lb ball of fluffy love (also a lhasa-poodle mix). Of course, pets mean vets. At a bare minimum we want to keep our furry baby healthy and free from parasites and such forth.Well, All Creatures was a great choice to take care of our pup. Everyone at the office loved him, Dr. Eisenberg was just great, gave us all the info we needed, and the fees were very reasonable. While I hope we don't have to come here too often (because nobody likes being sick or seeing their pets sick), I won't hesitate to bring Link in when he needs some medical attention. Read Less

We have trusted the care of our parrots and rabbit to Drs. Eisenberg and Antonicic for many many years and have been very satisfied with their knowledge, their advise, and the care they provide all around. Their staff is also well trained and courteous. I find them to be clear and understandable in their instructions and explanations, honest in their opinions and suggestions and how they arrived at same. I also find their rates to be reasonable and they have both gone the extra mile more than once when faced with a particular troublesome avian issue.I have absolute and complete confidence in this practice and recommend it everyone. My only complaint is that they don't have emergency hours themselves, but then most vet clinics don't. I do use one of their recommended emergency clinics for emergencies as it is close to me (Midwest) and I find their recommendation excellent as far as treatment, knowledge and diagnosis goes, although Midwest is costly. I had to write a response to Jennifer and her review. I happened to be in the office on the same day her parents dog was in. The dog looked horrible when it came in, it could hardly walk. As a regular person, I could tell this dog was very sick. The office is small and quite intimate so I was sitting in the waiting room while the doctor was speaking to them. Doctor Jim came out to tell the husband that surgery should be done immediately. The staff even asked me if I would mind waiting to see the other doctor as my appointment was after theirs. Of course I wouldn't mind. You can imagine that I was a bit shocked that they did NOT opt for the surgery and instead took their very sick dog home. I cannot fathom not leaving my dog at the hospital if he ever looked as sickly as their dog did. I have been a long time client of All Creatures and trust them completely with the care of my pets. If one of the doctors were to recommend a surgery my dog would be on that operating table. I know these doctors well and they do not take their jobs or the care of their patients lightly. I am very sad that that poor dog had to die. I'm sure the owners are very upset as anyone would be, but misplaced blame is not the answer. Read Less

Please don't ever taken an animal you love here - they killed my dog!!!! My mom brought her dog here on Saturday morning because she was not keeping food down and they did an x-ray and found a round object lodged in her intestine. Dr. Antonicic told my mom she had 2 options; 1) have surgery to have it removed, or 2) give her prescription laxative to see if she can pass it. My mom VERY specifically asked if she didn't have the surgery on Saturday and waited til monday to see if it would pass would her dog be okay? She was reassured by this so called vet that SHE WOULD BE FINE - NO RISK!! Yeah well I don't know what his definition of fine is but I had to go to my moms house last night and carry out a dead dog!!!! I have since talked to 2 vets and BOTH said that Dr. Antonicic should NEVER have said there was no risk to the dog since the object was unidentified there was no way to know that she would be okay!! The surgery should have been done on Saturday and had my mom known there was ANY possibility that she would lose her dog she would have done the surgery, no questions asked.
