Love the vets and the techs - they are always willing to answer questions or sit and explain things. My Staffie is scared of going to the vet and starts shaking as soon as we walk in. She hides under my chair or behind me when the techs come for her. They've come to expect this now and will sit on the floor, love on her, and let her warm up to them so that she's less stressed. Took my kitty here, no appointment, just a rush in and they still took a look at him he was extremely skinny, and his back paws were bleeding from sores, The saw him right away, did test, and gave him medicine, and he even got a kitty catnip toy bag full of toys and even gave me kitten ood to help him gain weight. This morning, for the 2nd time, they cancelled my appointment upon arrival. Both times they claimed they had JUST called me. Said they thought there was a problem with my phone. The vets and staff have always been very kind and professional, but every time I call we are given an appointment 2 weeks or more out and when the appointment day comes I have been called and told the Dr was out, for various reasons, and asked to reschedule for a week or more out. When they are routine check ups and shot boosters I understand being a few weeks out, however when my dogs are sick and need to be seen within a few days 2 weeks and 2 canceled appointments later I'm not happy. I take my two rescue dogs to this vet.  I feel confident they are receiving the best of care.  I like the atmosphere, caring staff, and user friendly website and email reminders of appointments.  My dogs love going there.  Recently I started bringing my cats, too.  Again, I felt from the receptionists to the vets that my pets were important and given careful attention and lots of love.  I'd recommend this vet to anyone. The first time I took my kitty there it was great. That was 4 years ago. Last October I took him back in because he was sick. He was open mouth breathing and I had to practically beg them to look at him. They gave him meds and he has been on them till today. My kitty was failing and I knew when taking him to the vet that he wouldn't be coming home alive. I left a message on my way so they knew I was on my way. I get there at 8:15 and they hadn't even checked their messages. I tell them what's going on and that I know what has to be done. They tell me they can't do anything and the DR doesn't come in till 10:00. When I asked them if the DR could be called in early they told me "No she is unreachable till she gets here." So they had to call Riverview Clinic in Port Byron (the people there were fantastic). Bottom line I had to take my dying kitty to Port Byron (by the way he hates riding in the car) because the vet was not there and unreachable. When it is time to get another pet, I will never take them to East Moline Animal Clinic.Read Less

I was so impressed the first few times I brought my furbabies in... They were a little pricey but the care was worth it I figured. Then my youngest furbaby got sick. It took multiple calls to get test result answers then when I had questions I was told I could come in and they would meet to answer my questions. Only to get there and sit for over 30 minutes then be handed a printed handout and told they couldnt see me. The receptionist was rude when I called later to ask some questions and argued with me that they had already answered my questions. Even after that we still came back and things seemed better after my furbaby had gotten surgery at the specialist vet. Then he started getting sick again and I was told he 'simply lost the genetic lottery' and then when they did some urinalysis work to try to determine his problems I was told I would get results right away if I was willing to wait only to be told after I came in that they would have to call me. That was fine except when they did call me they acted very rushed and went so far as to tell me they didnt have time to answer my questions. (mind you this is them calling me bc they were too busy while I was in the office to answer me then)Read Less

We not only love the staff, our golden retriever does as well! Dr. Turner takes great care of her, always takes time to explain anything going on and is so friendly. We couldn't be more pleased with their services. We also love Leann at the front desk. They really do care and understand how important our fur children are to us!
