Great office and vet (Dr. Eadie). My 12 year old Lab has many issues. I am advised and given choices on recommended treatment each time. I like this office because they are honest and very caring. This includes the entire staff (especially Jess and Heather). I feel that they present the facts, and let me make the best choice based on her (Dr. Eadie) knowledge. Their prices are competitive with any other vet in the area. There is cost and responsibility to having and taking care of an animal. People forget this quickly when an animal needs care. For the past 10+ years, we have taken all our furry family members to Eastside Animal Hospital in East Peoria and have never regretted the choice. They have cared for our family from the adoption of new fur-kids to the stress of serious illness (diabetes to name one) to the sadness and loss of euthanizing our old. At each step they have treated us with respect, taken into account our family budget and have always discussed with us up front the costs associated with medical care of our 4-legged kids. They have always practiced up front estimates for medical procedures, they have taught us how to care for serious illness (again, the diabetes) and have respected us by talking like we have some sense in our head when caring for our pups. I have never felt uncomfortable with any of the doctors or techs at Eastside and have recommended Eastside to my friends and relatives. Techs are rude especially that Beth that says she has been working for 8 years. No customer service etiquette at all. I agree with other folks there that they are only in it for the money. If you take your dog somewhere else for vaccinations, if you have a request, it would be either it is the law not to give information to you as a pet owner or other excuses. The Dr. Turnbull and the other vet could be okay if you are not for the money and you take responsibility for your techs that are rude, instead making them work there for 8 years. She should have been fired when she actually hung up on me because her excuse was there are patient's waiting when my dog is a patient of theirs too and should be accommodated over the phone as well like everybody else and being rude to patients that has their pet there since a puppy. I was referred by a dear friend of mine to Eastside Animal Hospital. I took my 12 year old Lab/Blue Heeler mix female dog. Because she wasn't being her silly self.After a few tests and X-ray I found out that my beloved dog had stage 4 lung cancer and arthritis in her left knee and the spine. The vet didn't have any compassion when I called them after I had my sick cat there gave me antibiotics sent me home. When called back all she could say is I don't know what you want me to do. All I wanted to know what was wrong with her. So had to take her to the er clinic. She was having seizures. If I had known that I would of had her put down so she didn't suffer like she did until she died. That's where the money went. Read Less

Very disappointed with the obvious false reviews that have been posted. I was horribly surprised at the absolute lack of care and outlandish prices. I have been in the clinic numerous times thinking maybe I caught them on a bad day, the staff is very scatterbrained and the staff turnover is extremely high, I can only imagine why!!
