I live literally 50 ft from this Clinic. I'm an elderly man dying from a degenerative bone disease barely able to walk to my own bathroom any longer. My one companion is my elderly 11 year old rottie. This point my pup has a couple of nails that have grown long enough to the point where they're starting to split because I have no ability to go anywhere or ability to get help. I called this Clinic being that they are right across the street from me in hopes they would help. I explained to them my situation that I have no other way of getting help for my dog and that soon the nails are going to be splitting into the bones in his toes. Could they please help me if I could just get a neighbor to walk him across the street. I have no problem paying for the service again I just have no other way of getting him help. I was told no because of Cole vet Associated take new patients and maybe you can work me in 5 weeks from now. I tried to explain again that if something isn't done quickly the bones in my old dogs feet are going to start cracking. It's a five-minute task that I would pay whatever they wanted for to save my dog. Again reiterating that I have no other way to get him help that if they refuse to me it's a dangerous situation of my elderly dog and I have nowhere else to turn. I was told why don't I try calling PetSmart maybe they'd do something to help me. Click. I brought my dog Petie here after I had decided to put my little pal to sleep. My vet was not available and I called Dr. Clark's office and they took me right in. They didn't know me or Petie but were the most compassionate people! They sent me a nice card with his footprints a few days later. I found myself a new vet that day!
