Our English Setter was diagnosed with mast cell tumors on her front paw. After a traumatic surgical procedure and many months of recovery, she improved. However, what appeared to be another tumor developed near the site of the original procedure. After consulting with two other area vets who both prescribed radiation, chemotherapy, and/or another surgery , we found Dr. Cechner. Her holistic, naturalistic approach to medicine and compassionate approach to our situation resulted in a happy outcome. Chinese herbs, antihistime tabs, and a new raw diet appear to be doing the trick and we're coming up on two years of exceptional health for our beloved pet. I referred friends whose dog was suffering from an acute facial nerve diagnosis to Dr. Cechner, and her blend of Eastern and Western medicine was also highly effective. I have been going to Elburn Animal Hospital for 30 years now. Over the years we have lost some pets and their compassion and going above and beyond are outstanding. They are a small clinic who makes you feel like one of the family, I much prefer this to large, cold, and clinical.
