Hilltop Animal Hospital

Evergreen Park, Illinois
General Info
Hilltop Animal Hospital is an affordable and caring option for families in the Evergreen Park area. Hilltop Animal Hospital, located in Evergreen Park, Illinois, treats pets by turning each appointment into a recalibration experience that is rooted in sensory awareness and emotional pacing rather than just a mere procedure. Initial moments allow the collector to familiarize with the work of art by simply looking at it, without touching. Staff members watch pets as they explore corners and respond to gentle sounds while changing positions with movement. The diagnostic flow customization happens instantly. During eye exams, if pets hold their breath or flinch at neck touch, we rearrange the sequence of the appointments. Owner input deeply enriches every medical decision through such aspects as how a pet behaves around the wind, what it does with its sleeping space, and how often it initiates contact at home. Hilltop Animal Hospital offers services in diagnostic pain modeling, mobility screening, environmental allergy assessment, preventive planning, and long-term stabilization for chronic conditions. Services for traumatized or overstimulated pets can be booked separately in combination with decompression breaks. The temporal patterns of daily life in the context of domestic social settings determine the speed and manner of result dissemination. The follow-up appointments are based on pets’ post-treatment recovery patterns rather than specific dates. Property holders are instructed to pay attention to the possibility of the pet displaying some unusual behaviors, such as no longer wanting to enter certain rooms, not stretching frequently as they used to and taking time to respond when called by name. The communication pathways for exchanging information can be adjusted as routines evolve and symptoms gradually appear. Hilltop Animal Hospital serves Evergreen Park and the surrounding Illinois communities by reading the cues during those pauses of the heartbeats to hear pet owners’ thoughts. Examples of services at this facility include blood work, wellness exams, dental radiographs, orthopedic surgery, and emergency care. Others are diagnostics, preventive medicine, puppy and kitten care, homeopathy, and ultrasound. They do this by ensuring the pet owners have confidence and trust in the services through constant communication and high standards. The team is committed to growth and community involvement to ensure that pets in Evergreen Park and the larger United States region receive the best care possible.

The only iffy thing about this office is the parking situation. I brought my cat in today because he's had fleas we can't seem to get rid of... He's scratching so much that he has big cuts along his neck. The receptionist, vet tech, and vet were all very kind to both my cat and me. The vet gave my cat two shots to help with his cuts/scratching and thoroughly explained what each one does. She also offered helpful advice for ridding our home of the pesky fleas. I'm very grateful that they were able to see him the same day I called and their service was entirely professional. I'll definitely come back in the future if either of my cats need vet care. Hilltop doesn't deserve any stars. Do not trust them. We brought our cat there 6 weeks ago. He wasn't going to the bathroom regularly. We trusted the Dr to do her job and figure out what was wrong with our cat. He had a blockage before, that was seen with an X-ray which we told the Dr. She said "I don't really think he needs that." We should have fought for it, but instead she did blood work, sedated the cat and brushed him out. All for $500. They called the next day told us they didn't find any parasites, and didn't find anything wrong. "He is a little overweight though" , so she gave us prescription food to help with weight loss and digestion. When I called her within a few days to say he wasn't any better, and that he really wasn't eating much she then charged me another $30 to give my cat a probiotic, that my husband and I had to force down his throat, and didn't make him any better. When I told her he wasn't eating, she said he will when he gets hungry enough. Another 10 days goes by. He stopped eating all together. We ended up taking him to the emergency vet in Crestwood, requested an X-ray, which they did. With the x-ray they found fluid in his abdomen, and some spots that showed up and his abdomen and chest area. After further review by the radiologist, we decided do you have another vet do an ultrasound and test the fluid. Our cat had cancer. If we would have found out six weeks sooner, we believe we would  still have our cat. Our cat passed away peacefully at home on October 12th. You know your animal, when you request an x-ray an x-ray should be done. The only reason Hilltop Animal Hospital are is because yelp is making me. Read Less
