Great staff and awesome veterinary care! I love how passionate they are about helping animals. Also, the MOST reasonably priced animal care I have ever found in the Rockford/Freeport area. I would highly recommend Freeport Animal Hospital.

Don't be fooled by the term "Hospital"... they DO NOT take emergencies! You'll need to go to Rockford.

Don't bother to call them after hours, even though they are supposedly available for 24-hour service. I called and was answered by a rude and unhelpful jerk who made it clear he was not pleased to be bothered. If dealing with patients after-hours is something they'd rather not do, then they need to remove this service from their listing.

Always excellent service! Staff is always very nice. Recently had to have our cat euthanized, the doctors are very understanding and I love the fact that they always give a donation to the veterinary college in the name of your pet. Doctors really do care about you and the health of your animals!

I have used this vet service for 10 years.. They are very affordable.. very compassionate, and I have sent many family members and other people there.. We have had help with very sick animals ranging from terrible food allergies to cancer. When the time came for us to have our animals put to sleep, it was handled in a very polite and respectful way. One of the older, original vets has retired but the service and fees are remaining equal to when he was there.. You have early walk in and afternoon walk in for your animals.. Scheduling for surgery is done ahead of time.. We even had the vet open the clinic up for an early, Sunday morning emergency, just for us.. The charge was the same as a usual appointment charge.. VERY nice place to go..

I called and was answered by a rude and unhelpful jerk who made it clear he was not pleased to be bothered.
