The lady who works the front desk is a doll and nice to work with. However, the Veterinarian on the other hand is extremely cold and impersonal. He was extremely rude in the way he spoke to my family and acted as if we were wasting his time. After seeing the way he deals with humans, I can't imagine ever letting him near my fur babies again. I can't even remember how long we have been going to Eagelridge but I have nothing but great things to say about this place. We take our animals (3 dogs and a cat) there for routine yearly checkups/shots, etc. and every time has been a positive experience with them. Two years ago we had to take one of our beloved dogs to be put to sleep. Both Dr. Joe and his wife were very compassionate and kind...as they always are. I love that this is a very small vet's office and that it is a husband and wife team. Both parties of their team are extremely down to earth and friendly...and knowledgeable...and extremely affordable. I recommend Eagleridge to all my family and friends. Read Less

Do NOT...and I repeat do NOT take your pets here if you can avoid it. I had heard a handful of positive things about this vet and decided to try taking my pets there. I couldn't believe how disinterested he (Dr. Joe) seemed. When we tried to describe symptoms to him for things we wanted our two dogs to be checked for, he did not even examine them but just said "oh that just sounds like typical this or that." The ONLY thing he did check was to see that our dog had arthritis and gave us Rimadyl. He gave NO mention of the dangers that some dogs face taking this anti-inflammatory. He just gave it to us and assured us that it would work and there'd be no issue. This was absolutely untrue. After 5 days of giving this to our dog, he began vomiting blood, had blood in his urine, and black stool (digested blood) that if you hadn't known any better you would think was tar. We have had to hospitalize our dog at another vet and he is on IVs. Damage to his stomach, kidneys, and livers...all of which they have yet to be able to determine the severity of the damage or whether or not any of it will be permanent. Upon further review of the drug, and from what this other vet told us, Rimadyl is extremely dangerous for some dogs and vets are required to warn of any potential risks (which Dr. Joe did not). Rimadyl and Dr. Joe's poor treatment have cause these issues for our pet. We will be taking our other dog to another vet as well to have her looked at, because we also do not feel comfortable with the treatment provided at Eagleridge. Again, please do not take your pets to Eagleridge if you can avoid it. They will not examine your pets, and if they do, will do so minimally so...and from our experience...with DISASTROUS results.Read Less
