Walked in today to ask questions. Three employees standing in one spot and still we were told "Oh it'll be a few minutes" while they were chit chatting. Seemed very rude when we did try to ask questions. Definitely wouldn't consider taking my pet to these people. Read Less

Unfortunatel my dog was misdiagnosed here. After months of medication "he needed", he just keot getting worse. I finally took him to a different vet who correctly diagnosed his problem. Not only was he misdiagnosed, he was getting a double dose of medicine he didn't even need!! Please don't take your pet here. Read Less

I took my dog in for shots. That visit was okay. Made an appointment to get her nails cut and check her ears. She had dirty ears ans was prescribed meds. When they went to cut her nails, they said she tried to bite one of the techs. First of all, I have a pitbull who is such a big baby and has never hurt anyone. They felt a need to have 4-5 tech manhandle my poor dog. Lifting this 50+ pound dog onto the cold steel table 4 feet off the floor. They muzzled my dog(never had to do this) held her down so tightly and cut 1 nail only and made my dog blled. During this horrid process, my sweet baby urinated and pooped all over because she was so scared. This is the worst animal clinic I have ever used. DO NOT PATRONIZE! Read Less

I would not recommend this clinic. Today my dog had a bout of soft stool and we needed a last minute vet appointment in an area where I had not established a veterinary relationship yet. The receptionist sounded nice enough on the phone and they were able to accommodate a last minute appointment for a new patient. Upon arriving I was not greeted with a smile, except by another client in the waiting room. There were a bird and a couple loose cats in the waiting room. the bird was talking loudly. The cats were not a bother and in fact the orange cat, Garfield, was very sweet. Without really making eye contact the receptionist asked me to have a seat and she would be right with me. After a few minutes I was given a couple forms to fill out. I apologized for my dogs' loud barking and the receptionist did say in a friendly manner that it was ok, they were used to it. The wait was not long. While I waited I saw team members walking back in forth in T'shirts with what I assume was the clinic logo. They looked sloppy and unprofessional. No one greeted me. A Vet assistant (I am assuming assistant because I saw no credentials to show otherwise) did come out and greet me with a smile. She directed me to a room in the back. There was no door which made things very difficult for me since Logan likes to bark at everything. It was very hard for him to relax because of all the distractions. Same for Chelsea. The assistant was friendly enough. As was the vet. The facility was outdated and hard to tell how clean it was although it appeared clean if shabby and in serious need of renovations. The outside of the facility was also unkempt. There were blankets instead of curtains in the windows, it was a brick building, you could not see inside, it took me a minute to even know if I was in the right place. Not very welcoming at all. I gave this 2 stars because they discounted a test for me knowing I was on a tight budget and the Vet and assistant were friendly. But then they sold me Amoxicillin for 17.00 with out even bothering to ask if I would like to take a written script to a pharmacy where I could get the drug for $4. Soooo, are they really looking out? or just trying to win me over with a smile and a small discount? The experience from start to finish was fairly unpleasant. The interior was stuffy and hot and the prices they charge are on the upside of the scale for what other vets in the StL metro area charge. I do not recommend this Vet's office! Read Less

Staff is unreliable and uncaring. Phoned before I went to pick up a Rx for my pet. I was told it was ready. When I arrived I was given a different story. My pet went without needed medicine. Worst experiences I've ever endured at any vet. These people appear to care NOT about the pet and the pet's owner(s), but only about the money. They seemed to try and upcharge for everything. They would attempt to sell the more expensive treatment and medicine whether the situation called for the expensive stuff, or the generic stuff is more than sufficient. Had my dog survived long enough to get his stitches taken out after his surgery (that he was a "good candidate" for), I was going to take him elsewhere to get his stitches taken out, it was going to be his last trip there. It's very unfortunate. I feel bad for putting my dog's well-being in the hands of these people. Their facilities are filthy, their techs are misguided and ill-informed, and the entire staff lacks communication skills. Now that I'm without a pet, I don't have to worry about going back. In the event I get another pet, I will avoid this "vet" like the plague.Read Less

The way my dog was treated was atrocious! Not even a vet to remove her stitches after an emergency spay and right in the next room, not even a consultation!. $987.00 and my dog burned so bad from the heat pads she may never grow hair there again. Had to take her out to Northgate Animal in Collinsville to get her healthy and start healing. The vets there actually call you! In my opinion its all a big game to see who can run up the biggest bill for the day at Animal Care Center just a guilt trip and if you don't do what they say well then we just don't care. Filthy, disgusting and uncaring. And I'm just talking about the staff. Don't get me started on the actual decrepit old building. They gave fleas to two of our cats, I know it was from them, because my cats are STRICTLY inside cats. The only time they had fleas was after we brought them home from being neutered and spayed at this "facility" (more like fraud). Then we had to PAY for flea meds that, guess what?, were EXPIRED. My cat was mildly poisoned by it. We were worried he had a seizure or stroke. Luckily the adverse effects wore off after a week. Also the staff has absolutely NO IDEA how to care for elderly dogs. Even the Veterinarian herself! My dog had severe arthritis in her hips and the Vet wasn't cautious at all when she tried "calming" (What a joke) or holding my dog to give her a shot. We finally had to raise our voice and tell them that we would hold onto her so that they could give her an injection. She was obviously hurting her, she wasn't gentle at all. We have been going to this facility for over 20 years. Our canine family members have always received great care. Staff has always been fantastic and are like our extended family. Everyone has been so kind, especially when we had to let our loved ones go. Disagree with the comment about the place being filthy. It's just an older building. Cost of caring for your pet is not cheap these days. Medications come from same drug companies as humans and we all know how expensive that can be for all of us. Have a problem, talk to Dr. Cummins-Brown. She owns the clinic, is so easy to talk to and would want to know! Read Less

Aweful place I wouldn't take a street rat here! I just switched vets because of the poor attitude of their staff only to find out that although I paid them over $200. they failed to complete my cats rabies vaccines! The last visit I took my cat they told me she was good to go and the only time she needed to come back was once a year for check-ups. There is no excuse for this at all! To make it worse they got in her chart once a month to see what flee medicine she was on but yet never noticed there were Incomplete vaccines! Guess they had their money so what would they care. Unsanitary, unpleasant, careless place and I do NOT recommend going here! Read Less

I've always been apprehensive in finding a veterinarian for my Chinchilla, Chuu. This place has the nicest staff and was very, very knowledgeable and helped out more than I could hope for. I definitely recommend them -- especially since I was an emergency walk in! Read Less

You always know what's going on with your pet here,high quality care, caring knowledgable staff, continuity of care, time taken always to explain anything and genuine concern for both the pet and the owner. Read Less
