Everyone at village vet is great!! I have 4 big breed dog reactive pups and they are always so accommodating!! My dogs love going to village vet, which means a lot to me. They diagnosed my oldest with something when 2 other vets could not. Service here is top notch, they always go out of their way to help their customers and patients. Dr Johnston came out to visit my 2 dogs who were just in for tech appts. They genuinely care about their patients!! We love village vet and I will continue to recommend them to everyone I know!

We recently moved to the area, so we needed to find a new vet for our cat, Willow. She is almost 10 years old and never leaves our house, so she's quite nervous and shy when we have to make a trip to the vet. I found that most reviews online talked about dogs, so I wanted to post a review for people who have cats!
I would definitely recommend this vet clinic, and I will definitely be taking Willow back for any future vaccinations/issues she may have.
The receptionist was extremely friendly and professional, and she helped me complete most of the "pre-first-visit" information over the phone to lessen the time I'd have to take when I arrived the day of the appointment. The clinic is open 6 days a week--(closed on Sundays)--but I was impressed with their varied hours of operation to fit just about any schedule.
When I arrived with Willow, I found the clinic itself to be very comforting and warm and relaxing. I believe the clinic has 4 vets, and we saw Dr. Cindy Marks. She was A-MAZING! She was VERY sweet and gentle and patient with Willow. She was also friendly toward me, and I felt like she listened to what I had to say, clearly answered my questions, and did a thorough exam. I didn't feel like she rushed through anything at all, and she didn't try to "push" services onto me. In fact, she was calm and professional & made sure she had addressed all of my concerns.
The clinic was also very "open" about sharing their prices/estimated costs for various services/vaccinations/etc. when I asked for them.
In addition, I received a "reminder" phone call before my appointment & then a "follow-up" call to check on Willow after we had been there, and BOTH TIMES it was a friendly PERSON--not an automated message service!
All in all, I am SO HAPPY to say we have found a GREAT vet! >"

Unfortunately my dog had some complications during a surgery but they helped me every step of the way and I don't think I could have found the treatment they gave me any place else. They really do care about the well being of all animals. They also do a great job of grooming! ☺️

My family has brought our dogs to Village Veterinary Clinic for the past 15 years, so it was a no brainier that even though I live in Chicago, I would also bring my dog Kedzie, to Village Vet. The staff there is wonderful and they know who you and your dog are! Dr. Marks is our primary vet, and Kedzie (and I) love her! She always has such a warm and happy greeting for us. I've had Kedzie since she was a puppy so we were visiting often for vaccines and each time Kedzie was more and more comfortable, and it is because of how well Dr. Marks and the staff treat her. I also was a nervous new puppy mom who called frequently when I first got her and was worried about something, and they never made it seem like a burden or annoyance, and always responded with thoughtful care from both the staff and Dr. Marks. This also was the case when I would bring her in for visits with my list of questions. She would take the time to answer them and give me any other information I needed. In addition to this, they have a wonderful system of sending you postcard reminders for when you need to bring your pup in for a vaccine, which when life gets busy is amazing. They also were really wonderful in working with the other vet that I had to take Kedzie to via her adoption organization. It was complicated at times to keep track of the different vaccines, but they were able to navigate it with out skipping a beat. I feel so lucky that I have such a wonderful veterinary clinic for my dog. It is hard to know who to trust your pet with, but I would highly recommend Village Veterinary Clinic for anyone who wants their pet to be treated like family.

Hands down the best veterinarian clinic I have been to. Entire staff is friendly, caring, informative, and competent. Great continuity and communication between the staff and veterinarians. The clinic itself is very homey and comfortable rather than typical metal and tile examination rooms found at other clinics. Sofas, sitting chairs and casual decorations make you and your pet feel at home. Most recent experience was they removed a mast cell tumor from my best friend that had been previously diagnosed elsewhere as a cyst. I am relieved to have such thorough and competent care for my dog. They leave no questions unanswered and go out of their way to accommodate. Surgery went as expected and my buddy "Kobie" is recovering as this is written. Thank you Doctor Joe for all you have done for me and my pet.

New to this clinic. My oldest dog has severe allergies and HATES going to the vet. She shakes, she'll pee on the floor or even the scale, and she'll try to bite the techs or the Dr. She had to go twice in 15 days. She did none of the above on her her first or second visit. It's like she knew she was in good hands! Dr. Marks is the most kind, upbeat Vet I've encountered. Rio has seen all the vets in two other multi Dr clinics. Without a doubt Rio prefers Dr. Marks. Plus she is getting the relief she needs. That makes my heart happy!

Hands down the best veterinarian clinic I have ever been to. They are friendly and genuinely concerned about your pet and go out of there way to treat your pet. The atmosphere is wonderful and homey instead of "Emergency room drab" as you find in most clinics . I am quite relieved to have finally found a great veterinarian clinic. My dog is genuinely a family member and it is nice to have peace of mind when it comes to his health and welfare. I would recommend this veterinarian clinic to everyone.

We have three dogs, two big and one small; young, middle aged and elderly, this is the best veterinary practice we have had the pleasure of using. We have seen all the Doctors in the practice and love all the staff. We feel like family when we go in, which with 3 dogs can be quite often. Dr S. Pulled out all the stops when our big guy had a ruptured disk in his neck, the clinic stayed open for us while X-rays were taken and read, chiropractor and a massage therapist were called in just for Moose while we were there and reports sent to specialists. Being at the clinic as much as I have I have only witnessed amazing customer service and love for clients and their pets. I could write about many episodes that Village Vet have come to the rescue... But not sure anyone wants to read all that :)

I am new to the area and chose Village Veterinary for my large breed dog and my sphynx kitten . My dog is usually pretty uneventful, just needing to see the vet for her yearly exam and vaccinations, but had a bit of intestinal troubles last month that Dr. Johnston was able to take care of right away. She personally called the next day to check up on us, and was so very nice for the whole exam. I am now taking my kitten there as well as I was so impressed with everyone at the clinic. Also the office and exam rooms are adorable and comfortable, and they diffuse young living essential oils which we love and helps the animals feel more at ease.

We had bad experiences with veterinarians nearby. We found Village clinic and though it is 40 mins from home, my husband and I are thrilled with the staff, doctors and homey atmosphere.They were prompt, professional and most of all caring. Please check them out if you are not satisfied with your neighborhood veterinarian. My cat was treated like the 'princess' she is. Beautiful place, not the usual smelly sterile surroundings.

I took my parrot Lolo here for the first time and I was extremely happy with the service. The staff is really friendly and the office makes you feel like you are at home. Will come back with the rest of my babies for their check ups. Absolutely loved this Vet Clinic.

My family has brought our dogs to Village Veterinary Clinic for the past 15 years, so it was a no brainier that even though I live in Chicago, I would also bring my dog Kedzie, to Village Vet. The staff there is wonderful and they know who you and your dog are! Dr. Marks is our primary vet, and Kedzie (and I) love her! She always has such a warm and happy greeting for us. I've had Kedzie since she was a puppy so we were visiting often for vaccines and each time Kedzie was more and more comfortable, and it is because of how well Dr. Marks and the staff treat her. I also was a nervous new puppy mom who called frequently when I first got her and was worried about something, and they never made it seem like a burden or annoyance, and always responded with thoughtful care from both the staff and Dr. Marks. This also was the case when I would bring her in for visits with my list of questions. She would take the time to answer them and give me any other information I needed. In addition to this, they have a wonderful system of sending you postcard reminders for when you need to bring your pup in for a vaccine, which when life gets busy is amazing. They also were really wonderful in working with the other vet that I had to take Kedzie to via her adoption organization. It was complicated at times to keep track of the different vaccines, but they were able to navigate it with out skipping a beat. I feel so lucky that I have such a wonderful veterinary clinic for my dog. It is hard to know who to trust your pet with, but I would highly recommend Village Veterinary Clinic for anyone who wants their pet to be treated like family.

The vets are all bright, helpful and kind. My dog is a great judge of character and he loves them all. Very nice staff at the desk, too.

Hands down the best veterinarian clinic I have been to. Entire staff is friendly, caring, informative, and competent. Great continuity and communication between the staff and veterinarians. The clinic itself is very homey and comfortable rather than typical metal and tile examination rooms found at other clinics. Sofas, sitting chairs and casual decorations make you and your pet feel at home. Most recent experience was they removed a mast cell tumor from my best friend that had been previously diagnosed elsewhere as a cyst. I am relieved to have such thorough and competent care for my dog. They leave no questions unanswered and go out of their way to accommodate. Surgery went as expected and my buddy "Kobie" is recovering as this is written. Thank you Doctor Joe for all you have done for me and my pet.

New to this clinic. My oldest dog has severe allergies and HATES going to the vet. She shakes, she'll pee on the floor or even the scale, and she'll try to bite the techs or the Dr. She had to go twice in 15 days. She did none of the above on her her first or second visit. It's like she knew she was in good hands! Dr. Marks is the most kind, upbeat Vet I've encountered. Rio has seen all the vets in two other multi Dr clinics. Without a doubt Rio prefers Dr. Marks. Plus she is getting the relief she needs. That makes my heart happy!

Hands down the best veterinarian clinic I have ever been to. They are friendly and genuinely concerned about your pet and go out of there way to treat your pet. The atmosphere is wonderful and homey instead of "Emergency room drab" as you find in most clinics . I am quite relieved to have finally found a great veterinarian clinic. My dog is genuinely a family member and it is nice to have peace of mind when it comes to his health and welfare. I would recommend this veterinarian clinic to everyone.

We have three dogs, two big and one small; young, middle aged and elderly, this is the best veterinary practice we have had the pleasure of using. We have seen all the Doctors in the practice and love all the staff. We feel like family when we go in, which with 3 dogs can be quite often. Dr S. Pulled out all the stops when our big guy had a ruptured disk in his neck, the clinic stayed open for us while X-rays were taken and read, chiropractor and a massage therapist were called in just for Moose while we were there and reports sent to specialists. Being at the clinic as much as I have I have only witnessed amazing customer service and love for clients and their pets. I could write about many episodes that Village Vet have come to the rescue... But not sure anyone wants to read all that :)

Way to loose a new client... can't imagine how they would treat my pet.

I am new to the area and chose Village Veterinary for my large breed dog and my sphynx kitten . My dog is usually pretty uneventful, just needing to see the vet for her yearly exam and vaccinations, but had a bit of intestinal troubles last month that Dr. Johnston was able to take care of right away. She personally called the next day to check up on us, and was so very nice for the whole exam. I am now taking my kitten there as well as I was so impressed with everyone at the clinic. Also the office and exam rooms are adorable and comfortable, and they diffuse young living essential oils which we love and helps the animals feel more at ease.

We had bad experiences with veterinarians nearby. We found Village clinic and though it is 40 mins from home, my husband and I are thrilled with the staff, doctors and homey atmosphere.They were prompt, professional and most of all caring. Please check them out if you are not satisfied with your neighborhood veterinarian. My cat was treated like the 'princess' she is. Beautiful place, not the usual smelly sterile surroundings.
