My husband and I moved to this area a few years ago and we had been looking for a vet, that we trust, in the area instead of driving an hour away to our old vet, spending an hour there, and driving an hour back.  Animal Health Clinic came recommended from our neighbor who has been with them for a very long time.  I've been slowly transitioning all of our animals (4 cats and 2 dogs) to Animal Health Clinic as their vaccinations need to be renewed.  Our cat Bootstrap has chronic health issue.  Dr. Burke at Animal Health Clinic met with her, examined her, performed tests, and kept her on her medication - something we stressed we wanted to keep her healthy and happy.  Our Labrador Sadie was due for some vaccines and at the same time had a leaky bladder.  We thought it was uti but through tests and a blood screen Dr. Burke figured out the problem.  We feel very comfortable at Animal Health Clinic and their prices are reasonable.  Also, I love that they dispense mediation there and have a lab.  Tests come back sooner and you don't have to go to Walgreens and wait for medications. No frills. We actually had a laugh when we brought our cat in and saw the 1994-era computer in the exam room, but for routine checkups and small issues, this place is great. The staff is friendly and caring, the doctors are great with our pets, and they are easy to get into! I've done a few sick visits and a few checkups, and both were extremely easy to schedule. We take both of our dogs here. Both are seen by Dr. Burke. Care here has always been exceptional. Since one of our dogs has special needs its nice knowing that they know her medical history and seem to really care about her. Techs and front desk employees are also very nice. Office hours are a little wonky, but have never had a problem getting either dog in for an appointment. Prices are very reasonable, especially since the one dog gets more lab work done than most. We just got are pure bread pitbull Mia. I asked around friends n family. Every time I asked I got the same name so from the time I first called they where very professional and on tip of what we all needed to do. My dog was 4 months when we started bring her. I love that are not scared of my dog. The doctor answered any questions I have and when in to details if needed. I love them. Would tell Friend n family to go there. May not look great on the outside but the doctors are awesome and caring about your pets and want to do the right things for them. Not just blow you smoke like some do just to make a quick $. Over pricedOut of date technology - old fashioned receipts you can barely read. When I requested a copy of all the services they performed on my cats I received a very old fashioned, difficult to see, poorly formatted document. Considering the prices they charge, they should have no problem purchasing a computer and a printer that are of current technology. They have always taken care of my sweet dog Leilah since she was a few weeks old and this past Saturday was no exception. I took my little dog in for her annual shots. The doctor explained to us that when we move, we would have to get a different set of shots because the East Coast doesn't have long winters like here. We took our dog home and noticed she was acting a bit weird. We figured it was the meds. Then she threw up in the kitchen. We called the clinic and brought her back in and they gave her a steroid shot and Benadryl. We found out her shots need to be spread out because she's allergic. The doctor did an excellent job and told us to wait in the lobby 15 minutes so he could check on her. Just want to let everyone know that even though the appearance of the place looks old, the doctors and the staff make the place seem brand new. I recommend everyone to try this place. Too bad I can't pick the place up and move it to where we are going. Read Less

The caring and compassionate Doctors and Staff of this practice made a very difficult day just a little easier.  From the initial phone call thru leaving my friend of 15 years in their hands to cross the Rainbow Bridge, I could not have been more impressed with the professionalism and compassion they showed us.
