I've taken my dogs, Payton and Pennylane to Highland Animal Hospital for a few years now. The staff is always very kind and professional. I know they care about my animals and the animals well being is there primary concern. Just took my cat there she's shaking and having mini seizures eyes are looking very bad I think she's been poison well some goofy blonde chic rolled her eyes at me as if she doesn't want to be there when i told her what was wrong then she says we can't help you it's not a emergency well my cat looks like she's dying she said go to Edwardsville hmmmm the reason I stop there was because it said animal hospital on the sign out front why should I have to go somewhere else I'm sorry you hate your job but I love my cat Read Less

This hospital has been nothing but GREAT for my own pets, friends, and families pets. I am sorry some people have had bad experiences with them, but I am sure it had to do with their pets condition that they base their experience off of. Dr. Leckrone is an amazing veterinarian and helped me and my fiance through the hardest time. She had diagnosed our puppy with Stage 5 Lymphona and rushed to get us into the hospital in St. Louis for a 2nd opinion and to get him hospitalized. She was always willing to be there for us if we had any questions and gave us her personal cell phone to talk. When things got bad and Wally had passed, she was at the vet after hours and told us to bring him in. She had tears in her eyes and is truly a caring vet. Read Less

We live in FL. Had a sick cat, took her to emergency vet care near Collinsville and paid a fortune. Took her to Highland Animal Hospital, MUCH better care at a MUCH better price. Have since taken two other cats here, always great service at a competitive price.Read Less

You guys just put my baby boy of 13 years down feb 9th. I still cry every single day as this was the hardest decision my husband and I have EVER had to make. You guys did such an amazing job being so personable and the empathy you have for us after his passing was so beautiful. Receiving a card of sympathy and getting my Toby's ashes to me so quickly meant the world. I had been treating a senior dog I adopted in January at Highland. They were always so kind and caring about my little Walter. I had to send him to The Rainbow Bridge yesterday. They treated me with so much kindness and compassion. They treated both Walter & I with dignity & respect. This is an awful time for me. But they made it easier. I have been coming to the Highland Animal Hospital since 1994. I wouldn't go to any other place. The staff is so kind, compassionate, and professional. Today we had to put down our 11 year old boxer. He was a sweet and kind boy. Everyone was wonderful during the entire process. From the diagnosis, giving us all of our options, and helping us make the most difficult decision one could ever make.
