We have taken all of our fur babies here (2 have since passed). They helped us with one of our dogs at the end of his life...so incredibly compassionate & empathetic. The Drs. Endebak, Hoyt, and Leisure are THE BEST!!! I completely trust them with the care at any level for my dog. The support staff is also amazing! We moved to Lemont the end of March and needed to find a vet for our 11.5 yr old black lab mix.  After reading reviews on several clinics....I chose Animal Care Clinic of Homer Glen.  Our first visit could not have been more pleasant for both me and my Sammie.  Dr. Endebak was absolutely wonderful and Sammie actually took a treat for the first time at a vet's office.  Sammie needed blood work as I thought she might have diabetes due to her increase in thirst.  Dr. Endebak was so sweet when she called to tell me that Sammie did not have diabetes, but sadly had either a really bad infection somewhere or lymphoid leukemia.  Needless to say I was hoping for the infection so Dr. Endebak put Sammie on a 10 day anti-biotic treatment, testing her blood on day seven.  She told me we would know for sure if it's an infection if her blood marker that was supposed to be 5,000 and was 30,000 went down.  Blood was taken on Wednesday and Thursday around 1:00 pm Dr. Endebak called with the bad news that it was in fact leukemia, and aggressive.  Two weeks later we said goodbye to our sweet Sammie and given the heartbreaking nature of the process....the entire staff was gentle, supportive and genuinely caring.  I cannot thank Dr. Endebak enough for her professionalism, kindness and most importantly her honesty!!!  Everyone I know kept telling me that vets will not give their thoughts on when it's time to say goodbye.  I asked Dr. Endebak to please help me with this decision as my heart couldn't see that Sammie was suffering.  She did exactly what I had asked and when Sammie showed weight loss and had diarrhea 3 days in a row.....she said it was time.  Otherwise, Sammie would just continue to be in silent pain.  I would recommend this facility to anyone and with personal experience....highly recommend Dr. Endebak.My sincere gratitude!!!Gina Read Less

I have taken many of my pets here over the years. They have saved my childhood dog Buster from parvo, performed an amazing hip surgery on my baby girl Eevee, helped us rescue some newborn kittens and just recently took my puppy Boomer in(very last minute) to treat his incision from getting nuetered. They always go above and beyond for your pets. I would recommend them to anyone that loves their fur babies. They can be a little pricey, but the care they give is definitely worth every penny spent. I was in town from out of state when my dog needed to make a last minute vet visit. I was recommended to call ACC by a friend. I called that morning and they were able to get me a appointment for within the hour. The facility was clean, the staff had great customer service, and the vet showed great compassion for my dog. I've been going to Animal Care Clinic for 30 years, with 5 different cats. They are accommodating with my schedule or when I have an emergency, and call the next day to follow up on the visit. I've always found the care to be thoughtful and reasonable, allowing me to weigh options for treatments. I've never felt uncomfortable asking questions or asking for alternatives. My care has ranged from routine checkups to spaying, cleanings, minor surgeries, and long term care for chronic conditions. My cats have lived long lives with their help. I recently adopted a cat that has not been neutered or declawed. I adopted my cat on Tuesday and they were able to get an appointment in that day to do an examination along with blood work (I was a first time customer). I was also able to schedule further needed appointments that they were very accommodating in doing so! My husband and I have been taking our 2 dogs to Animal Care Clinic for over 6 years now and recently we just got a new puppy that we take there as well. All the vets are very informative and explain things in a way for you to understand it. I especially love how caring the vets and techs are towards my dogs. With 3 dogs, we are always in there for some problem or another and they are very quick to get you in and out without feeling rushed or not important. All the staff is very friendly and welcoming. We got a rescue dog a few years ago from TLC animal shelter The clinic was recommended from the shelter so we gave it a try although it was a bit further away from my home town. The staff was so attentive and caring from the get go. We have had only positive experiences with the staff. Dr Cindy Endabak has gone above and beyond for us for the past 3 years. Our rescued pet now trains search n rescue & pet therapy and is active so she has had a few unexpected trips there-all positive. We had a great experience at Animal Care Clinic of Homer Glen! Our 14 year old dog has been having more health related issues lately. As loving pet owners, we were growing increasingly concerned with his health and how to properly provide treatment. After several visits, unsatisfactory remedies and money spent at our previous veterinary clinic, we were so relieved to have found a new veterinary home at ACC. We were very pleased with the quality of care our dog received, the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the facility. The Vet was not only able to diagnosis and treat our dogs issues, she also provided us with an honest and quality assessment of other issues we need to focus our attention on going forward. It was a huge weight off our chest to be given the knowledge that can help us ensure his proper treatment and overall well being in his senior years. Lastly, our dog is not a big fan of the vet, so were surprised at how calm he was at this visit. Our dog even must have been able to recognize a good thing! Yesterday, on his 18th birthday, our boy Sammy drew his last breath. I just wanted to thank those at ACC for making it a peaceful departure from this world for him. A big thanks to Susan, who was always there for us when Sammy needed special treatment. Thanks also to his lifetime of doctors including Endebak, Hoyt, Ubatuba, and O'brien. With your help, we were able to enjoy Sammy's company for many years, despite his blood pressure, diabetes and thyroid issues. I am so impressed with the recent care of our family's beloved pet Roxy. She had a growth on her paw and in order to remove it her toe needed to be amputated. The doctor took her time and fully explained the procedure to me. I felt so comfortable leaving Roxy at the clinic. When the report came back from the lab the doctor called me and again patiently discussed the available treatment options. Plus she had already spoken to a specialist! I originally took my cat, Jack, to NAWS. After my visit , NAWS, informed me that my cat had diabetes and that they don't treat major illness. Really? So then I went to ACC. Immediately  Dr, Glowski told me that she wasn't sure that my cat had diabetes after all. She believed it was just an infection. She was right. So, if you love your pet as much as I love mine, this is a great place to get thorough,  knowledgeable care. And because, your animal can't speak for themselves,  a vet that can read the signs is crucial; no matter how small those signs might be. And Dr G did just that.  Saving me and Jack from further undo pain and stress. By the way, if I had just went to ACC originally I would have saved myself about $200 and two days of hell believing my cat had a major illness. Read Less

I was referred to ACC after I adopted a dog from TLC shelter. I also have another dog adopted from somewhere else. My fiancé and I had been looking for a better place to have our dogs go. (We had a bad experience at another vet.)Our new dog still had her lady parts. She had surgery a little over a year ago. Which was quick and easy. Our dog seemed happy almost after the surgery. The staff and the doctor were both great and helpful. I just had the girls in for their yearly check up and met a new doctor. Dr. Kim. She is very nice!!! She checked my dogs out and gave them shots. After one of my dogs yelped after her first shot she switched to baby needles. Which I appreciated because I hate hearing my babies hurt. But she kept them calm. I love this place. My sister adopted a dog from TLC Animal Shelter and we brought it to Animal Care Clinic of Homer Glen for a complimentary exam. The dog had previously had some eye surgery there and we thought we it would be good to get a followup exam where she had already been treated. My sister brought her newly acquired pup into the exam room while I waited out in the lobby area.  Upon walking in, the vet who examined her dog said that she had been seriously considering adopting the dog herself and seemed to be disappointed that she had lost the chance. Then when she examined the dog she stated that she suddenly discovered that the dog had an abnormal heartbeat that she had not detected before.  Baring the veracity of this, my sister asked if she could be more specific about what the problem was but she said that there was really no way of telling if it's a serious problem or not without an ultrasound for roughly $500. She was not at all reassuring about the prognosis.  Mind you, my sister had just recently lost her previous, fairly young dog to leukemia and was still very vulnerable.  Then the vet said we "can always take the dog back to the shelter."  I'm thinking this vet's motives were a bit less than pure here.  Meanwhile, I'm the only person in the waiting area, and I suspect the front desk staff forgot I was there since I had tucked myself away in a quiet corner to grab a nap if I could.  This was an extremely catty gaggle of ladies who used their time to make fun of a previous customer they had (accidentally?) overcharged by $100+ for being so upset.  Later that day, we took our dog to our own vet to see what she could tell us. She listened to the heartbeat and told us without hesitation that it was a grade 2 heart murmur. She prescribed some supplements to support heart health and said we would monitor her in the future and treat her if she developed any symptoms. Funny how our regular vet had no problem discerning a diagnoses and formulating a treatment plan without a $500 ultrasound. The vet at Animal Care Clinic definitely seemed to have an agenda, either to get the dog for herself or charge us an arm and a leg - or both. Read Less
