I really like them, they are very friendly. Just frustrating when you need a prescription and order it from another company, they can't seem to get their act together. I have 2 dogs the same age and all tests and shots are completed at the same time, However, They approved one of the dogs for a 12 month prescription and the other dog for only 6 months neither of them have any health issues so their is no reason for a different prescription. It seems that there are some issues in the office. I would recommend confirming all of your pets medications prior to giving them to your pet. Make sure that they or yourself is giving them exactly the type of medication and the dose they are supposed to be getting. Read Less

They are very caring and compassionate. When I had to put my dog down at an emergency vet they followed up with me which I have never experienced with it any other vet practice. Highly recommend and they are very good even with my very anxious dog. Read Less

This has been my absolute favorite vet's office for my dog and two cats. The staff is totally phenomenal, super kind and always professional. The techs and doctors always do a great job trying to relax my pets. They explain everything you need to know so well, you can really feel confident in understanding your pet's health. I have two dogs and two cats and live an hour away, and they all go here. My mom, who lives at least an hour away takes her three dogs and two cats here. My mother-in-law, who lives 45 minutes away, takes her dog and cat here. This place is the best. They are very reasonably priced, know my fur babies, and on the rare occasion that there is a wait, they give my kiddos cookies and give my fur babies a lot of love. I never write reviews; however, I want to take the time to write one about Huntley veterinary hospital. I was referred to Huntley veterinary hospital by a friend and was skeptical to bring my dog paisley because I feel some vets tend to up sell you or persuade you to pay for more than what you need. The entire staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The vet took the time to really explain what my dog needed and the reasons behind what he was doing. We have been taking our cats and dogs here for 16 years. The care they provide is exceptional! They really take their time with us, they had cared for our diabetic cat Alley for many years, and our super senior cat Samantha until it was time for them to cross the rainbow bridge. They cried with us as if they were family. If you are looking for expert care with a loving touch - this is the place for you. The entire staff is on point, from making appointments (front office staff is amazing - they could always hear the urgency in my voice, and went above and beyond to help), and quickly into triage when our Sweat Pea pug ripped a nail. Staff is great. Making a appointment is very easy. They they do reminders before each appointment so you do not forget your appointment. If your animal has a shot do or anything they will send you a postcard reminding you when it needs to be done. I want to bring my dogs anywhere else.Read Less

We love Huntley Veterinary Hospital. The staff and Dr. Hillary take exceptional care of our dogs. They have taken extra care especially trying to get one of my dogs into the building. The staff tried different methods until we got her in the building. Finally she is able to walk through the front door and greet them. We have finally found an amazing facility with Veterinarians and staff that we trust and truly see how much they love and care for animals. We've been going to Huntley Veterinary Hospital for the past 15 years now.. so clearly we LOVE them! We've brought our cat as well as two dogs to this vet and they've been wonderful with all of them--even our dog that is a little more "difficult". Our puppy loves the team and they have been super helpful and are patient to answer all our questions when it comes to our 15 year old dog as well. The doctors, techs, and staff are nothing short of amazing. We have been going here for years and wouldn't go anywhere else. They genuinely care about each and every animal. They have cried with me, celebrated with me, and educated me. Three generations of my family entrust their fur babies to this hospital. Plus Cousins! And now.my daughter has a new dog and will be bringing her to this clinic as well. Our vet has performed exams, invasive procedures, dental work, labs, EKG, surgery, you name it! We have been coming to see Dr Joe and Dr Jane for a few years now. They have been great when we have added puppies to our family and also when we have said good-bye to our fur children. I have referred many friends and neighbors to Huntley Veterinary Hospital.  Dr. Joe and Dr. Jane are wonderful.  What I appreciate most is their honesty.  They do not push expensive procedures without trying everything else first.  And they are so helpful when making decisions.  I had a cat who was at least 16 years old but could have been much older as she was a stray.  When she started to go blind at random, they helpful me understand my options so that I could make a decision that was best for her and also best for our family.  We didn't want her going through expensive procedures that would have come to the same conclusion that a cheaper procedure could tell us - she had a brain tumor.  They could have pushed an MRI or CT scan, but instead they were honest and helpful.  I've been to vets that will take advantage of a scared family and try to get them to pay for procedures that aren't necessary.  Huntley Vet will not do that.  They will explain your options, help you understand the pros and cons, lay out the price ranges, and then let you decide what is best.  They've also been excellent at getting my animals in quickly when necessary.  They don't offer emergency services, and I wish they did, but they are good at making sure you get the after hours care you need at a place they recommend, and then they are good about following up with you later.  I trust them completely with my animals. We are fairly new to the area and finding a great new vet for our dog was on our to do list...but we had an emergency and had to unexpectedly decide on one quickly. We decided to call the closest vet,  Huntley Veterinary Hospital, and fortunately they were able to see our dog right away.  Dr. Hillary is outstanding!  She was wonderful with our dog, genuine in her concern and extremely knowledgeable. She followed up with us over the next week after our visit to make sure our dog was doing well. Best vet around I only give them 4 stars instead of 5 because of their hours. They always remember who I am, they send out reminders, they follow up on emergency visits to other hospitals, they send condolences when a pet dies. I used to go to the other vet in Huntley, and every time I went there they had no idea who I was even after my 6th visit, fumbled around the computer to look me up, had no idea why I was there. Drs Jane Stimac and Joe Seng are two of the nicest people you would want to meet. When my elderly dog developed a tumor on his paw he was treated with care and I was given the information I needed to make a decisions about his ongoing treatments. Their fees are very reasonable; $7 for a nail trim as opposed to $15 at Dundee Animal Hospital. They are expanding their facility and have recently hired another vet to assist part time.
