Great experience! Dr. Horton and her vet tech, Michael, were so caring! I brought my senior lab, Charlie, to them because I was worried about his lumps and he was very anxious and uneasy. They both were in no hurry and spent extra time making him comfortable and at ease as they examined him. Dr. Horton was very thorough and even answered my questions about my other 2 fur babies as she was accessing Charlie. The cost was very reasonable. For the vaccinations, time spent, and sample taken of a cyst, I left paying approximately $100. I have never spent less than $200 at a vet. Highly recommended! Read Less

Cannot say enough great things about this place. Everyone is very friendly and very nice. And the doctors are the most amazing vets ive ever had. They waited with my cat until late at night and way after close to make sure he was stable enough to drive him to an overnight vet. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff and the clinic itself is very clean and beautiful. Even the back where they keep the pets if they need to is amazing and clean! I came to Crest Hill Cat and Dog Clinic when my regular vet would not make the time of day when my dog was having emergency congestive heart failure. We own a business in the same court at the clinic, so I called them hoping they would be able to see him. Even though my dogs have not been patients there prior to that visit, Crest Hill Cat and Dog Clinic got him in immediately. Just in the nick of time as well, without Dr. Ling and the amazing staff at this clinic my dog would not be here today. Everyone there is just so compassionate, I have never experienced anything like this at our previous vet. Dr. Ling worked with my dog for 2 hours to help figure out what was going on, and made sure she felt comfortable enough to send him home when he was in a stable condition. It was a very scary experience, but Dr. Ling made it much easier to handle. It has been about 2 weeks since that happened, and it's as though my dog has a new lease on life, for the little time he has left with CHF. I even took my older dog there the week following because he has heart issues as well. He saw Dr. Wally, and I can't say enough good things about him either. My older guy does not like people outside his "pack", he let Dr. Wally pick him right up and take him for all his testing he needed. Dr. Wally was so thorough, and took the time to explain all the results of his tests. He followed up the next day with all the blood work results as well. My only regret is I did not take my dogs here sooner. I will recommend Crest Hill Dog and Cat Clinic to anyone looking for a vet, in fact, I already have, multiple times. Read Less

We have a 9 year old boxer and he was having a hard time with allergies, losing his hair and other unpleasant medical conditions. We brought him to see Dr. Walley and he was great. The staff is always so helpful as our dog also has anxiety. They made our experience great. Our dog was handled with such care and the receptionist and vet techs were great at explaining everything we needed to know. Dr. Wally suggested another type of treatment which worked great. Our 9 year old boxer, for the first time in a year, was playing and not itching. We're so great full for the doctors and staff at This clinic and we found that their prices were comparable to the other clinics in the area. We would highly recommend this business! Read Less

Don't go there unless you have a buttoad of MONEY. That's their MAIN concern. If you can get by the numerous cold clinical and emotionless receptionists then you'll get decent enough care - just be sure your CREDIT is up to standard! Read Less

I'd highly recommend crest hill cat and dog clinic. We take our two dogs to the clinic, one of whom is epileptic. It was shocking when he started having seizures last year. Dr. Walley was very thorough and walked us through all the options, tests, and potential referrals. We ended up going to VCA to see a neurologist after his second seizure turned into cluster seizures. The neurologist diagnosed him with epilepsy and Dr. Walley has been following him ever since. I appreciate him taking the time to consult with the specialist when needed (most vets don't even bother). My dog hasn't been the easiest case but Dr. Walley and Dr. Ling have always been available on short notice and treat him like their own. Read Less

I can not stress enough how wonderful dr. Walley, his whole staff, and other doctors there are. Ive been taking my dog here for many, many, years. Dr walley, and dr ling are the MOST honest, caring, genuine doctors . Dr walley honestly cares for his patients pets. He is so easy to talk to, and will do whatever he can to give your pet the best treatment out there (if needed) I will never take my dog anywhere else, and I do plan on having more pugs run around in my future. :) cat and dog clinic is where Ill continue to go . I want to thank this vet office, because if it weren't for them, I wouldn't have found my new current vet whom I love. When my dog got sick, I brought him to this vet. After x-rays, blood work (some blood tests which were done twice at their request), and other numerous testing, there still was no answer as to what was causing my dog's daily vomiting. Everything looked "normal" to them. After all of this, I decided to get a second opinion. I took the x-ray that THEY HAD TAKEN to this other vet and he had found that the stomach looked suspiciously round on the x-ray and this concerned him. After an exploratory surgery, it was found that my dog had eaten plastic that needed to be removed and also that the suspicious round stomach on the x-ray was my dog's horribly enlarged gall bladder which needed to be expressed! How could a trained vet miss this on an x-ray? I'm convinced that this vet is just looking to nickel and dime people, and that they are not looking at what's in the best interest of the animal. It's a shame, because the staff is very nice and likeable but I'm now aware that the doctors are incompetent and can't bring myself to entrust them with my dog's health. Read Less

Everyone here is absolutely amazing. I am so lucky that my Google search for a vet led me here last year. They have been so very helpful and supportive from the first time I brought in my cat, Kiki, to moment we had to say goodbye to her. They always had answers to my crazy questions and never once made me feel like my concerns were silly (even though some of them definitely were!) I bring my pittie here and they are always nothing but helpful and caring. So it was only right that my fiancé and I would bring our sick 9 month old kitty here. The outcome for her was unfortunate as she had an uncurable sickness. It was an extremely tough day but they tried their hardest to help her and were very compassionate towards us. It's been an emotional week since we lost our baby girl and today we came home to a card that was signed by each staff member sending their condolences.
