Location easy to find. Staff extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Waiting time was about 5 minutes. All our questions were answered. Did not feel rushed. The only thing I would do differently is order the Flea & Tick pills and Heartgard online. Would of saved about 80.00 for a year supply for both. I have brought both of my pit bulls to Dr. Johnson to have their ears cropped and he’s done a phenomenal job with both of them. He and the staff are super helpful and would suggest anyone to them looking for croppings. They even fit me in on short notice to get my second pup done before she got too much older. I have recently changed from the veterinarians to the vets at Archer Veterinary Clinic. I have found their veterinarians to be extremely thorough, highly compassionate and have a wonderful understanding of the idiosyncrasies of sight hounds. They answer every question and even give information that you may not have thought to ask. Their prices are more than reasonable in all areas of their services. Dr. Turner recently saw my labradoodle for an ear infection.  She did a very thorough exam and explained what I would need to do at home for the ear infection.  Dr. Turner also gave me advice on how to handle a behavioral concern I had which seems to be helping.  The tech (wish I knew her name) was so nice and showed me the step-by-step cleaning and ear drop application I would need to follow at home.  I felt very confident that I could carry out these instructions by the time I left the office. I've been bringing my pets here for decades.  We brought our German Shephard, Harley, in for spaying and a mass removal (big lump on her neck). I waited till I could have this done by Dr. Johnson. I trust him completely with our girl.  The staff, here, get better and better each time we come in.  So thorough with every process and couldn't be friendlier.  Dr. Johnson always makes me feel at ease, and always remembers us, and it's not like we're there more than once a year. After Harley's procedure was completed, the office called to let us know she did well, and was in recovery and we could come by and pick her up. When we got there, the nurse explained her medications to me, and what to watch out for, etc. She answered every one of my concerns and questions. Since Harley isn't so friendly around other dogs, they offered us the back exit, so there would be no upset.This business goes above and beyond to assure your safety, as well as your pet's safety.You cannot find better prices, either. And even if I could, I wouldn't go anywhere else.One side note--they never push (upsell) anything you don't want. My parents don't have a lot of money but Archer still treated my parents and their dogs with so much compassion.  When it came time to put one of their beloved dogs down, my mom could not say enough about how compassionate the staff was.  It made the painful process just a little easier.  A week later they even sent my parents a card with their dogs paw print.  Archer provides quality compassionate care without any judgement.  Highly recommend! My 14 year old dog came out fine after having dental work done, including 8 teeth pulled. He, Peanut bounced back with no problem answer I was worried due to his age. Peanut is his old self again. I'm happy to bring in our Boerboel here. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I really appreciate them letting me bring in our dog in the other day right before closing. I was concerned about her stitches and how much she was itching her stomach. Causing really bad scratches. I cannot say enough about the extremely kind people at the Archer Veterinary Clinic. Today was the day to say goodbye to our 15 year old Georgie. Our vet had already closed. I called ahead to another vet and we were given an appointment time. When my husband and I, our three boys and my mom walked in... we realized were in the wrong office. To make a long story short..... the wonderful staff welcomed us, new patients to the practice and could not be more understanding and compassionate. My family has been coming to this practice for over 20 years. Over the course of this time, we have been nothing but please. However, things have changed over the course of the last few years. They have hired many new people. Most of which can't answer a simple question of what vaccine my dog is due for after they told me to come back. They are also relatively rude and don't care about your puppies well being. They rushed through wellness exams and the doctor left before I could ask any questions. Granted, this isn't every vet at the practice, however the problem is you can rarely get the same vet to look at your pet which is not good for monitoring any changes. Read Less

I won't be bringing any future pets here. To keep this brief: 2013, moved to the area with a senior GSD mix (dr Johnson is supposedly a pro on them) and she passed away from "undetected cancer". Literally last night had to put down my full bred GSD rescue. I called the emergency line and was told dr Johnson will not be taking after hour calls until 10/28. Nearest recommendation was Aurora. What the hell?! Heidi passed away in our arms but in a foreign office from lung collapse, engorged heart and severe arthritis. She had just been there a few months ago and this went undetected?! You claim to love GSD but you can't help one in severe distress? Not to mention you saw her only once since her adoption (annuals and regular check ups were pawned off to other docs). Went there set an appointment for 1115 and was told we can't be accomadatef until 1130. And 1130 still nothing. We came in 30 mins before set appointment. The personnel at the front are not friendly and needs customer service skills. I'd rather pay higher to other vet than go back to this piece of shit veteranary clinic. after years and years of bringing my dogs here i just had to have my dog put down at another vet office. I brought my elderly dog in yesterday as an emergency,she had a violent seizure for the first time ever and was quite ill. I waited an hr and a half in the waiting room and my dog had another violent seizure while they all stood around and did nothing and acted like it was no big deal,i had to tell them to get a vet while my dog foamed at the mouth and peed herself. I was pretty upset and one of the techs had the nerve to tell me i could go somewhere else if i wasnt happy...it was 8pm,i just waited over an hr and my dog was lying on the ground foaming at the mouth after seizing when she said this to me.i spent 300 dollars on tests and sent home with seizure meds. the dog got worse and worse having seizures every few hrs the next day so we decided to put her down because she was suffering. so i called them and they told they couldnt fit me in! what kind of vet office cant fit in a patient in severe distress to be put down! they said i was welcome to come in and wait around to see if maybe a vet could squeeze me in but it could be hrs....while my dog lays and suffers. I ended up going to a new place by house in countryside and they took me right away and treated me and my beloved pet with actual compassion and caring. They should all be ashamed of themselves and have no business in this business. I used to love this place and the owner when i saw him in his old clinic but this new staff is incompetent and uncaring. I suggest they all take a lesson in compassion and care from the countryside animal hospital where i will be bringing my dogs from now on.Read Less
