Our family has been going to Archer Vet for the past 40+ years. My family treats our dogs like family and we make sure they are always taken care of. I feel totally let down by Archer Vet. This past Friday at 3:15 PM my mom called and told them that her dog Zoe was dying and she needed to bring her in. The Supervisor got on the phone and told her the Doctors were too busy to see her and to bring her to an ER Vet. My Mom pleaded with them to please let her bring Zoe and in and again they said no. She lives 5 minutes from the practice and instead she had to drive 25 minutes to another Vet who took her in right away and did what they could for her. Zoe passed away. I am totally disgusted with how she was treated by the supervisor. I will never bring another pet of mine to Archer Vet.

Dr. Johnson is AMAZING! I went to him to crop my puppies ears and he did a great job. The staff is friendly as well. If you have a cat allergy, they do have cats roaming freely throughout the office.

The only thing I would do differently is order the Flea & Tick pills and Heartgard online. Would of saved about 80.00 for a year supply for both. I guess your paying for the convenience of taking them home the same day of appointment. All in all, would definitely recommend to others.

I have recently changed from the veterinarians to the vets at Archer Veterinary Clinic. I have found their veterinarians to be extremely thorough, highly compassionate and have a wonderful understanding of the idiosyncrasies of sight hounds. They answer every question and even give information that you may not have thought to ask. Their prices are more than reasonable in all areas of their services. Archer Veterinary Clinic also has a very thorough reproductive unit. I would highly recommend this vet clinic to anyone in our area.

Dr. Turner recently saw my labradoodle for an ear infection. She did a very thorough exam and explained what I would need to do at home for the ear infection. Dr. Turner also gave me advice on how to handle a behavioral concern I had which seems to be helping. The tech (wish I knew her name) was so nice and showed me the step-by-step cleaning and ear drop application I would need to follow at home. I felt very confident that I could carry out these instructions by the time I left the office.

I've been bringing my pets here for decades. We brought our German Shephard, Harley, in for spaying and a mass removal (big lump on her neck). I waited till I could have this done by Dr. Johnson. I trust him completely with our girl. The staff, here, get better and better each time we come in. So thorough with every process and couldn't be friendlier. Dr. Johnson always makes me feel at ease, and always remembers us, and it's not like we're there more than once a year. After Harley's procedure was completed, the office called to let us know she did well, and was in recovery and we could come by and pick her up. When we got there, the nurse explained her medications to me, and what to watch out for, etc. She answered every one of my concerns and questions. Since Harley isn't so friendly around other dogs, they offered us the back exit, so there would be no upset.This business goes above and beyond to assure your safety, as well as your pet's safety.You cannot find better prices, either. And even if I could, I wouldn't go anywhere else.One side note--they never push (upsell) anything you don't want. They inform you, but don't push you, just to make a sale. I've been recommending this place to everyone for many years.

My parents have been taking their elderly boxers here. My parents don't have a lot of money but Archer still treated my parents and their dogs with so much compassion. When it came time to put one of their beloved dogs down, my mom could not say enough about how compassionate the staff was. It made the painful process just a little easier. A week later they even sent my parents a card with their dogs paw print. Archer provides quality compassionate care without any judgement. Highly recommend!

We have been taking our dogs to Archer Veterinary for over 20 years. I cannot speak more highly of their caring and attentive staff. I have felt that all options for treatment of our dogs have been offered and that the understanding and kindness of the veterinarians, techs and office staff has gone above and beyond what would be expected. Even at the busiest moments, we feel that we are being given respect and consideration. I also feel that the prices for the services is very reasonable.

There were no surprises in pricing or any add-on charges that I did not anticipate. The facility was clean and easy to get to. Discharge instructions were thorough. I would highly reccomend their services, and would suggest considering them for a second opinion especially if you are requiring a surgical procedure for your pet.

I am always pleased with the level of care my dog Angus relieves at Archer Vetrinary Clinic. The staff is polite, knowledgeable and kind to the people and animals that enter it's doors. The wait time isn't too bad and the prices are within average. When it was time for my dad to put his beloved lab down, the staff managed this tender moment with love and empathy. We have rushed our now 6 year old Aussie there with several emergencies and they've always fixed him up. I highly recommend them.to anyone.

I was concerned about her stitches and how much she was itching her stomach. Causing really bad scratches. I cannot say enough about the extremely kind people at the Archer Veterinary Clinic. Today was the day to say goodbye to our 15 year old Georgie. Our vet had already closed. I called ahead to another vet and we were given an appointment time. When my husband and I, our three boys and my mom walked in... we realized were in the wrong office. To make a long story short..... the wonderful staff welcomed us, new patients to the practice and could not be more understanding and compassionate. They took us right back into a room and gave us all the time we needed to say our goodbyes. A heartfelt thank you to all of the wonderful women that were so kind to us and to our Georgie.

My family has been coming to this practice for over 20 years. Over the course of this time, we have been nothing but please. However, things have changed over the course of the last few years. They have hired many new people. Most of which can't answer a simple question of what vaccine my dog is due for after they told me to come back. They are also relatively rude and don't care about your puppies well being. They rushed through wellness exams and the doctor left before I could ask any questions. Granted, this isn't every vet at the practice, however the problem is you can rarely get the same vet to look at your pet which is not good for monitoring any changes.

I won't be bringing any future pets here. To keep this brief: 2013, moved to the area with a senior GSD mix (dr Johnson is supposedly a pro on them) and she passed away from "undetected cancer". Literally last night had to put down my full bred GSD rescue. I called the emergency line and was told dr Johnson will not be taking after hour calls until 10/28. Nearest recommendation was Aurora. What the hell?! Heidi passed away in our arms but in a foreign office from lung collapse, engorged heart and severe arthritis. She had just been there a few months ago and this went undetected?! You claim to love GSD but you can't help one in severe distress? Not to mention you saw her only once since her adoption (annuals and regular check ups were pawned off to other docs). I will not be returning and will not ever recommend this office to anyone. The only good person there is Linda Brown.

after years and years of bringing my dogs here i just had to have my dog put down at another vet office. I brought my elderly dog in yesterday as an emergency,she had a violent seizure for the first time ever and was quite ill. I waited an hr and a half in the waiting room and my dog had another violent seizure while they all stood around and did nothing and acted like it was no big deal,i had to tell them to get a vet while my dog foamed at the mouth and peed herself. I was pretty upset and one of the techs had the nerve to tell me i could go somewhere else if i wasnt happy...it was 8pm,i just waited over an hr and my dog was lying on the ground foaming at the mouth after seizing when she said this to me.i spent 300 dollars on tests and sent home with seizure meds. the dog got worse and worse having seizures every few hrs the next day so we decided to put her down because she was suffering. so i called them and they told they couldnt fit me in! what kind of vet office cant fit in a patient in severe distress to be put down! they said i was welcome to come in and wait around to see if maybe a vet could squeeze me in but it could be hrs....while my dog lays and suffers. I ended up going to a new place by house in countryside and they took me right away and treated me and my beloved pet with actual compassion and caring. They should all be ashamed of themselves and have no business in this business. I used to love this place and the owner when i saw him in his old clinic but this new staff is incompetent and uncaring. I suggest they all take a lesson in compassion and care from the countryside animal hospital where i will be bringing my dogs from now on.

Staff and doctors are excellent!!! I drive 15 miles to this clinic, past many other vet offices, because I trust the care they provide. They don't run unnecessary tests, discuss high priced tests/ procedures beforehand and are fair priced. Always feel like my baby is in great hands here!

Dr. Johnson is AMAZING! I went to him to crop my puppies ears and he did a great job. The staff is friendly as well. If you have a cat allergy, they do have cats roaming freely throughout the office.

The only thing I would do differently is order the Flea & Tick pills and Heartgard online. Would of saved about 80.00 for a year supply for both. I guess your paying for the convenience of taking them home the same day of appointment. All in all, would definitely recommend to others.

I have found their veterinarians to be extremely thorough, highly compassionate and have a wonderful understanding of the idiosyncrasies of sight hounds. They answer every question and even give information that you may not have thought to ask. Their prices are more than reasonable in all areas of their services. Archer Veterinary Clinic also has a very thorough reproductive unit. I would highly recommend this vet clinic to anyone in our area.

Dr. Turner also gave me advice on how to handle a behavioral concern I had which seems to be helping. The tech (wish I knew her name) was so nice and showed me the step-by-step cleaning and ear drop application I would need to follow at home. I've been bringing my pets here for decades. We brought our German Shephard, Harley, in for spaying and a mass removal (big lump on her neck). I waited till I could have this done by Dr. Johnson. I trust him completely with our girl. The staff, here, get better and better each time we come in. So thorough with every process and couldn't be friendlier. Dr. Johnson always makes me feel at ease, and always remembers us, and it's not like we're there more than once a year. After Harley's procedure was completed, the office called to let us know she did well, and was in recovery and we could come by and pick her up. When we got there, the nurse explained her medications to me, and what to watch out for, etc. She answered every one of my concerns and questions. Since Harley isn't so friendly around other dogs, they offered us the back exit, so there would be no upset.This business goes above and beyond to assure your safety, as well as your pet's safety.You cannot find better prices, either. And even if I could, I wouldn't go anywhere else.One side note--they never push (upsell) anything you don't want. They inform you, but don't push you, just to make a sale. I've been recommending this place to everyone for many years.

My parents have been taking their elderly boxers here. My parents don't have a lot of money but Archer still treated my parents and their dogs with so much compassion. When it came time to put one of their beloved dogs down, my mom could not say enough about how compassionate the staff was. It made the painful process just a little easier. A week later they even sent my parents a card with their dogs paw print. Archer provides quality compassionate care without any judgement. Highly recommend!

I have felt that all options for treatment of our dogs have been offered and that the understanding and kindness of the veterinarians, techs and office staff has gone above and beyond what would be expected. There were no surprises in pricing or any add-on charges that I did not anticipate. The facility was clean and easy to get to. Discharge instructions were thorough. I would highly reccomend their services, and would suggest considering them for a second opinion especially if you are requiring a surgical procedure for your pet.

I am always pleased with the level of care my dog Angus relieves at Archer Vetrinary Clinic. The staff is polite, knowledgeable and kind to the people and animals that enter it's doors. The wait time isn't too bad and the prices are within average. When it was time for my dad to put his beloved lab down, the staff managed this tender moment with love and empathy. We have rushed our now 6 year old Aussie there with several emergencies and they've always fixed him up. I highly recommend them.to anyone.

I was concerned about her stitches and how much she was itching her stomach. Causing really bad scratches. I cannot say enough about the extremely kind people at the Archer Veterinary Clinic. Today was the day to say goodbye to our 15 year old Georgie. Our vet had already closed. I called ahead to another vet and we were given an appointment time. When my husband and I, our three boys and my mom walked in... we realized were in the wrong office. To make a long story short..... the wonderful staff welcomed us, new patients to the practice and could not be more understanding and compassionate. They took us right back into a room and gave us all the time we needed to say our goodbyes. A heartfelt thank you to all of the wonderful women that were so kind to us and to our Georgie.

My family has been coming to this practice for over 20 years. Over the course of this time, we have been nothing but please. However, things have changed over the course of the last few years. They have hired many new people. Most of which can't answer a simple question of what vaccine my dog is due for after they told me to come back. They are also relatively rude and don't care about your puppies well being. They rushed through wellness exams and the doctor left before I could ask any questions. Granted, this isn't every vet at the practice, however the problem is you can rarely get the same vet to look at your pet which is not good for monitoring any changes.

I won't be bringing any future pets here. To keep this brief: 2013, moved to the area with a senior GSD mix (dr Johnson is supposedly a pro on them) and she passed away from "undetected cancer". Literally last night had to put down my full bred GSD rescue. I called the emergency line and was told dr Johnson will not be taking after hour calls until 10/28. Nearest recommendation was Aurora. What the hell?! Heidi passed away in our arms but in a foreign office from lung collapse, engorged heart and severe arthritis. She had just been there a few months ago and this went undetected?! You claim to love GSD but you can't help one in severe distress? Not to mention you saw her only once since her adoption (annuals and regular check ups were pawned off to other docs). I will not be returning and will not ever recommend this office to anyone. The only good person there is Linda Brown.

after years and years of bringing my dogs here i just had to have my dog put down at another vet office. I brought my elderly dog in yesterday as an emergency,she had a violent seizure for the first time ever and was quite ill. I waited an hr and a half in the waiting room and my dog had another violent seizure while they all stood around and did nothing and acted like it was no big deal,i had to tell them to get a vet while my dog foamed at the mouth and peed herself. I was pretty upset and one of the techs had the nerve to tell me i could go somewhere else if i wasnt happy...it was 8pm,i just waited over an hr and my dog was lying on the ground foaming at the mouth after seizing when she said this to me.i spent 300 dollars on tests and sent home with seizure meds. the dog got worse and worse having seizures every few hrs the next day so we decided to put her down because she was suffering. so i called them and they told they couldnt fit me in! what kind of vet office cant fit in a patient in severe distress to be put down! they said i was welcome to come in and wait around to see if maybe a vet could squeeze me in but it could be hrs....while my dog lays and suffers. I ended up going to a new place by house in countryside and they took me right away and treated me and my beloved pet with actual compassion and caring. They should all be ashamed of themselves and have no business in this business. I used to love this place and the owner when i saw him in his old clinic but this new staff is incompetent and uncaring. I suggest they all take a lesson in compassion and care from the countryside animal hospital where i will be bringing my dogs from now on.
