Very thankful they were able to take our Guinea pig last minute, but after that this place was horrible. Called four times because his symptoms were coming back and just wanted to pick up some more meds. Was told nope have to take him in again because they will give us stronger meds if it didn't work the first time. Get there to find out the Dr is just going to give us the same meds. It's $60 a pop just for the appointment and their meds are about 3x the price as Amazon so I really wasn't happy.
Well he didn't get better and they barely looked at him so we took him to another vet just to find out it was bloat and could have been cured in time. He ended up passing away but I really blame this place for not looking at him more closely. The other doctor was lovely to work with, despite the circumstances. They actually explained what they were checking and gave us pricing options. Maybe good for dogs and cats but I had to wait for the vet to get back from vacation, had to call 4 times after being told "we will DEFINITELY call you with information" and no phone call. Just go somewhere else because this place is one of the worst we've had to deal with.

I have loved care animal hospital. I have been taking my German Shepherd puppy there for almost a year, and now our new 2 year old mastiff as well. They always remember both me and my dog's name and are very welcoming. Vets will listen to your concerns and are very willing to take action and spend time on your pet. If you bring in a puppy all of the front staff will probably get super happy and want to hold him lol. They definitely love animals here! It's also very easy to make appointments and they usually have spots open that day or the next. Kind of pricey though. My dog had a few shots and an antibiotic that cost me $450.

I had a great experience as new client with my family's guinea pig. The building is very nice, not at all the sterile, nondescript environment that I expected from old experiences elsewhere. The office staff was really nice, and Dr. Luaces was great-he was very gentle with our little guy and he took the time to explain the care of our pet and ehat to expect as I am a first time guinea pig owner. Fair pricing as well!

I've been going to Care for 4 years now and have received nothing but STELLAR care for my animals. Compassion, sincerity and professionalism is consistent. My entire family drives from all over Lake County to use Care and all feel the exact same way. Never have I been told we couldn't be seen same day, when it was an emergency. Every doctor, technician and office staff member is dedicated to you and your pet's well being. They will ALWAYS flush out your options financially and what's in the best interest of your pet. It all starts with dialogue and communication. No one is a mind reader - so don't sit back and be a Monday morning quarterback when you should have been on the field with them. I am blessed that this practice has moral integrity and partners WITH me. I appreciate everything they have done and will continue to do for me, my family and my pets. great job, Care!

Their staff is great and very caring. They always provide hassle-free, reasonably priced services and really put our cats' comfort and well being as their top priority (not their own revenue like some veterinary offices where additional procedures often seem recommended just to boost their own profits). At Care Animal Hospital, we always get great service and less trauma than expected. I highly recommend them.

We have had the best experiences at Care Animal Hospital. When our dog was missing and found after 6 days with frostbite, Dr. Morrison got us in right away and took such great care of him. Boarding is great and regular checkups are very thorough. Would highly recommend.

This is the BEST place to take your pets. Why? Well start with a fabulous front desk staff that does everything in their power to help you. They take your needs and do whatever they can to help you. When my mother moved here she needed a special food for her two kitties that the clinic did not carry. What did they do? First they called all their competitors in the area to see if they carried the food. Nobody carried it so they found supplier and now we can get the food at the clinic. They "special" order the food and make sure there is a bag on hand when my mother needs it.
I took my kitty to a competitor clinic that specialized in cats and found that I was tag teamed by the vet and the staff to have procedures I did not necessarily want to have done, food I did not want to buy, & constant phone calls attempting to guilt me into having dental done. This is NOT the case at Care. They listen to you as the "owner" and work out what is best for your kitty or dog.
You simply could not ask for more in a clinic. If you doubt this, friend them on Facebook and just sit back and watch, they are wonderful!

I've been in here several times and the front desk staff and techs are always knowledgable and efficient. The clinic works with Spay and Stay to spay and neuter stray and feral cats, TNR program to reduce the homeless population. For their participation I would bring a pet to them if I had one of my own.

Very thankful they were able to take our Guinea pig last minute, but after that this place was horrible. Called four times because his symptoms were coming back and just wanted to pick up some more meds. Was told nope have to take him in again because they will give us stronger meds if it didn't work the first time. Get there to find out the Dr is just going to give us the same meds. It's $60 a pop just for the appointment and their meds are about 3x the price as Amazon so I really wasn't happy.

I have loved care animal hospital. I have been taking my German Shepherd puppy there for almost a year, and now our new 2 year old mastiff as well. They always remember both me and my dog's name and are very welcoming. Vets will listen to your concerns and are very willing to take action and spend time on your pet. If you bring in a puppy all of the front staff will probably get super happy and want to hold him lol. They definitely love animals here! My entire family drives from all over Lake County to use Care and all feel the exact same way. Never have I been told we couldn't be seen same day, when it was an emergency. Their staff is great and very caring. They always provide hassle-free, reasonably priced services and really put our cats' comfort and well being as their top priority (not their own revenue like some veterinary offices where additional procedures often seem recommended just to boost their own profits). At Care Animal Hospital, we always get great service and less trauma than expected. I highly recommend them.

We have had the best experiences at Care Animal Hospital. When our dog was missing and found after 6 days with frostbite, Dr. Morrison got us in right away and took such great care of him. Boarding is great and regular checkups are very thorough. Would highly recommend.
