Best veterinary office in the area! So thankful to have cat specialists nearby. After finding three newborn kittens outside and realizing their mom was not coming back, I decided to take them in. The staff here were beyond excited to see the little ones and Dr. Miller has been a lifesaver in helping me to get them on their feet and help them grow up! They are doing great thanks to her expert advice and the thoughtful care these people put into their work. The practice is very understanding and provides payment plans. Additionally, the office is a very welcoming and warm environment. It's decorated adorably and the candy bowl and coffee doesn't hurt, either! If you have a kitty, you SHOULD be using the NICC! They specialize only in felines, so you can be sure they are the best at putting the well being of your kitty first. We weren't able to save our kitty from a rare skin cancer, but the integrity and kindness of the doctors and staff here helped so very much during our difficult time. Dr Miller has been great trying to diagnosis a rare condition in my cat. Unfortunately, it comes with a very extensive price tag. I cancelled a vacation to pay for my cats care. Not everyone has that option. I wish the cost of care was more reasonable so more people would have the option to treat rather than euthanize. Read Less

My cat family has been using Northern IL Cat Clinic for many years. I would not go anywhere else. They have taken exceptional care of my cats with a loving environment that always puts the cats' needs and welfare first. My current cats are very fearful and it is impossible to get them into their carriers. The clinic provided door to door service as they knew that would be easier on the cats and on me. I have taken all 3 of my Sphynx, special needs cats here. Everyone is super friendly and understanding. Dr Michelle Miller is always great; straight forward and understanding. She helps me and allows me to make decisions about my cats (and supports me in those decisions). The atmosphere is great for cats with anxiety; no barking dogs, no loud music, etc. I highly recommend Northern Illinois Cat Clinic to all my friends and family that have cats.
