Two months ago I adopted Ben from TAPS. I've always had dogs in my life, but Ben made a special impression in my life in two months. When he fell ill, they were great about scheduling him in quickly ...
Two months ago I adopted Ben from TAPS. I've always had dogs in my life, but Ben made a special impression in my life in two months. When he fell ill, they were great about scheduling him in quickly to be seen. He received emergency surgery on Monday to remove a mass. Dr. George & Dr. Gretchen were excellent with his care and contacted me several times a day to keep me updated. He was able to come home on Friday. Ben was walking around house and eating/drinking...on the ...road to recovery. Unfortunately, he passed away early Saturday morning. His body was just tired and he wanted to come home one last time. Dr. George, Dr. Gretchen, Dr. Bill and the entire staff were all EXCELLENT with Ben's care. I can't thank them enough - they truly love their job and it shows. I want to thank ALL the staff at Best Friends for the love and compassion they showed Ben & I during this difficult time - truly a great place to take your fur babies. See More

We saw Dr Gretchen yesterday and I simply can't say enough good about my experience. I am a typical worrying min pin mom .She was so incredibly patient with me answering all my questions ..some silly I'm sure...I NEVER felt rushed or like she wasn't concerned.The vet tech we had ( unsure of her name ) was equally as kind as the lady that drew my Baxter blood.I left there feeling at peace knowing my little man was healthy.I have a new addition coming soon and can't wait for her to meet her new Dr.Thsnk you Best friends you are amazing....PS... the receptionist was awesome also 😊

I am beyond thankful for the amazing staff at Best Friends. We have always had excellent care with our fur babies. Here recently our golden retriever was hit by a vehicle. A simple procedure for wound repairs turned quickly into a life saving measure when it was found Lucy and a collapsed lung and blood in her chest cavity. Dr Gretchen saved her life. Words of thanks aren't enough. Dr. Jason even met with us beyond the scheduled hours to address our concerns and ease our minds. Dr. George, Dr. Erika, and Dr. Bill have always been just as fantastic. Whether I am bringing my dogs to Best Friends or my goats to Greenhaven, I know my animals are well cared for by people who truly have a passion for animals.

I have to give praise where praise I'd deserved. Yesterday our cat went into labor and was having complications. Around midnight I knew she was not going to be able to deliver naturally. So in a panic I called. Not only did they get out of bed to save our sweet girl and her babies.they also beat the price of other places. They also took 400 down and pay off the rest later instead of letting her suffer. I have used this location since 2003 and it was great to see them have the same love for animal's as the last owner. Thank you for saving our girl and her babies

The doctors and staff always answer any questions I have. Since this is my first time raising my own dog from a puppy there have been a lot for me to ask and they never fail to get the answers for me....

Since this is my first time raising my own dog from a puppy there have been a lot for me to ask and they never fail to get the answers for me. It's very welcoming when I have to go and my dog doesn't mind his visits. Very nice people, and very helpful as well. I would recommend to anyone!

Took my skippy(a 6 month old chiweenie) in for his first visit today. Was greeted by happy, friendly and understanding staff members. Skippy was quite yippy and a little rowdy. But the staff treated him with kid gloves. He finally settled down and became a happy little guy again. Minus the few barks to remind them that he was there. The Doctor was kind and gentle with him and although our visit was short was kind to me also. When our visit was over, skippy warmed up to the staff. I was very happy with his visit today. He'll go back when needed. I just want to say thanks to all there today.

I moved to Lincoln a little more than a year ago and started coming here right away! The staff is helpful and friendly! When we noticed my dog was having a weight problem, they took action right away. It took a while to diagnose the problem but once they did, we began his treatment and he's begun dropping weight and is looking healthier and happier than ever!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. These guys are great and helpful, they work with you in an emergency situation. I can tell you that I have 2 cats and a dog, but have never had to deal with domestic animals before so when an emergency arises even though minor and I am freaking out, Dr. Pierce is on the case, he assures me my animals will survive and offers me home remedies instead of rushing in right away. There is no sense in paying for something so minor. I try not to be a pest, but he is still kind and loving to my animals and although the other places in town are nice and inviting, this is the place I would want my animals to be! I hope they are still around when I have children and they have their pets!

I am beyond thankful for the amazing staff at Best Friends. We have always had excellent care with our fur babies. Here recently our golden retriever was hit by a vehicle. A simple procedure for wound repairs turned quickly into a life saving measure when it was found Lucy and a collapsed lung and blood in her chest cavity. Dr Gretchen saved her life. I moved to Lincoln a little more than a year ago and started coming here right away! The staff is helpful and friendly! When we noticed my dog was having a weight problem, they took action right away...
I moved to Lincoln a little more than a year ago and started coming here right away! The staff is helpful and friendly! When we noticed my dog was having a weight problem, they took action right away. It took a while to diagnose the problem but once they did, we began his treatment and he's begun dropping weight and is looking healthier and happier than ever!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. These guys are great and helpful, they work with you in an emergency situation. I can tell you that I have 2 cats and a dog, but have never had to deal with ...
If I could give more than 5 stars I would. These guys are great and helpful, they work with you in an emergency situation. I can tell you that I have 2 cats and a dog, but have never had to deal with domestic animals before so when an emergency arises even though minor and I am freaking out, Dr. Pierce is on the case, he assures me my animals will survive and offers me home remedies instead of rushing in right away. There is no sense in paying for something so minor. I try not to be a pest, but he is still kind and loving to my animals and although the other places in town are nice and inviting, this is the place I would want my animals to be! I hope they are still around when I have children and they have their pets!
