Extremely disappointed with our most recent experience at your facility. We have a 15 year old cat that has suffered with chronic congestive issues for some time. we have been trying exhaustively to find something to help him find some relief. We went to your hospital hoping for some assistance. We were referred to Dr Stu. Initially all seemed well. He seemed to show some concern but that soon went downhill. Our cat endured several rounds or antibiotics that seemed to work well in the beginning but then turned out to be ineffective. These medicines were difficult for our cat to digest and it was frustrating as we compound the medicine at a specialized pharmacy which costs more than your standard pill. We then tried an anti inflammatory as well as a decongestant. All didn't seem to render really good results. We then opted for a surgical procedure. Our cat found relief for a day or so but again we were back to the beginning. I called Dr Stu and this seems to be where things become problematic. It would seem that Dr Stu isn't very prompt at returning phone calls. When you have a sick cat that can be very frustrating. Finally we heard from him (it took a while) and he suggested another medicine, this time an antiviral. Again we had the drug compounded and sadly it was a disaster from the beginning. Another $80 dollars for nothing. This of course is no ones fault and we weren't blaming anyone. We called Dr Stu to ask about any other options he could think of. He said he would research it and get back to me "in a few days". Again we didn't hear back. My husband left a few messages (3 in total) out of frustration from the lack of response we seemed to receive far too often. Dr Stu finally called and just read me the riot act about how he kept receiving messages and that he had told me it would take some time. Now it wasn't a few days - he was indicating that he had said it would be weeks. No he never said that and he just continued to hammer that we had left messages. I was so put off by his attitude as if we had no right to inquire about our cat. Even a call to say he was still researching it would have been sufficient but to make me feel as if I had no right to call and disturb him seriously makes me question his true dedication, at least where our cat is concerned. As an owner it is so hard to watch your cat struggle to breath. Good Drs try to understand that - at the very least they return a phone call with compassion and not the accusatory tone I was subjected to. Good luck if you ever need to reach someone at this office by phone. You had best be patient as a return call won't be coming very soon.

This vet place was a Godsend for us! After having some bad experiences with our original vet (you can find my full review of it here: yelp.com/biz/care-animal…), I called a couple of my dog lover friends in the area for a recommendation on a new vet, and BOTH of them told us to come here. They both told me how every vet they've seen at this practice has been wonderful to them and how caring the entire staff is. And boy, they weren't wrong!When you first walked into the doors at our last vet, I always got an unwelcoming vibe... when you first walk into Lincolnshire Animal Hospital, everyone is smiling and ready to help! Unfortunately, we came here with a dire situation for one of our dogs, but they were so great in explaining his prognosis, gave us options of other tests we can do, what the exact costs were and the pros and cons of doing them, AND also gave us options of how we can make him feel more comfortable. We had many last minute appointments going on in the one week we were there, but they were always very accommodating to fitting us in and kept in touch on the phone with how things were going. Unfortunately, we eventually had to put our dog down only a week later, but I knew we had done the right thing by bringing him here to be taken care of and ultimately be laid to rest by this very loving team.Just today we switched our other dog who has Cushing's to Lincolnshire Animal Hospital, and just like with our 1st dog, the vet explained EVERYTHING in detail of what was going on - i learned more in this one visit than I ever had at all his other appointments at our old vet.Dr. Rasch is our main vet and she has been absolutely wonderful. We've also seen Dr. Emmelot and Dr. DiFuccia who I would also highly recommend. My other friends who referred me here swear by Dr. Clarke and also Dr. Sutkay. Basically, you can't go wrong here!

If I were rating just based off the doctors, this would be 5 stars. However, the receptionists here are so rude. They're very sweet to your face, but it's definitely that forced, fake "nice". TWICE, I've been sitting in the waiting area and I've seen them roll their eyes and make fun of the people on the other line (when talking on the phone). The person on the other line must have asked a question that was too "ridiculous" bc after the receptionist hung up the phone, she immediately began talking negatively about the person who had called. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL Every time I call or come in now, I feel very uncomfortable because I know how judgmental and rude the receptionists are. It's like they hate their jobs....

Went here on Thursday because my poor kitty had an eye infection and I couldn't get to see her normal vet who is about an hour away (I moved but haven't changed vets yet). Luckily they were able to squeeze me in. From the beginning the staff is very friendly and it's clear they all work there because they love animals.... which is a huge plus in my book because I'm putting my cat in their hands. The vet we saw, Dr. Rasch, is super friendly and knowledgeable. She definitely put me at ease and tried to keep Laila as calm and happy as possible. My cat is terrified of vets and will sometimes growl and she didn't do any of that even after being poked and prodded. Also... even though we went there for just an eye infection, Dr Rasch did a full exam to make sure overall she was healthy. We even did some blood work to address some questions about my cats recent weight loss. They are full service so they can do surgery there as well, god forbid that's ever needed.Definitely impressed with this place!! And they may become my new primary vet especially because they much closer to my house. It's always hard to find a new vet due to a move and I feel this place would be thorough and take good care of my little fur baby

The receptionists are super polite and friendly...always smiling. The vet techs are knowledgeable and thorough. They even split the pills in your pet's prescription in half for you if necessary. And the vets are just awesome. They'll actually take the time to LISTEN to you and explain everything that is going on in detail. They g...o above and beyond every time. When my dog was vomiting excessively, they were able to fit her in right away and even called to make sure we were still coming. She was seen and treated right away. The next day, Dr. Sutkay called me first thing in the morning to see how my dog was doing. My dog is even much less nervous coming to this office than any other vet's office I've taken her. I LOVE Lincolnshire Animal Hospital. Everyone we have come into contact with here has been an absolute joy to work with.We have had our dog for almost 2 years now, and use Lincolnshire because my MiL has been bringing her dogs there for years.We have seen the majority of the vets and interacted with many techs. Everyone here is a true animal lover and my dog's safety and well being is always their top priority.I always wonder how he behaves when he is taken into the back for blood work, etc. when we can't see him, and one of the techs told me today that he's just fantastic and everyone loves him. This makes me feel so great.We're always able to get in the same day, and they truly care about us and listen to our concerns as well as what symptoms we've seen from him before always thoroughly examining.I recommend LAH to anyone!

First, I will tell you I'm extremely picky about vets as I had a really terrible experience at a different vet, so I may be more critical as my pet's health is important to me. So far everything has been going well, they are friendly and knowledgeable. They speak in manner so that you can understand options and conditions. If you ask, they can recommend one of their vets that may have a deeper knowledge about skin conditions/etc. We've met a few of the vets and they have been down to earth, not pushy to run lots of tests.
The front desk is quick (5Ã faster than the last place).
The only strange thing is we did order a normal blood test and paid for 2 additional values to be tested. It only came back with 1 of the 2 results and when I emailed and asked, I didn't really get a response as to why. I haven't had a chance to follow-up again yet.
Most vets I've been to have been up front about costs before running them and I'm surprised they have not proactively done this. They will if you remember to ask. They are slightly more expensive (maybe 5% more than previous places), so not bad.

Excellent facility in every way. Clean and nice amount of space so you don't have to worry about little Toto being scared to walk by Butkus. Dr. Julie Difuccia was wonderful. Never felt rushed and took the time to really answer all of our questions. She also called the following day to check up on our cat. We will not be going anywhere else. Prices are fair too. We used to go to VCA Hawthorn in Vernon Hills but they try and get you for every little fee and never felt comfortable there.

We've been taking our cats and dog to Lincolnshire Animal Hospital since we moved to the area three years ago. ��Drs. Emmelot, Sutkay, and DiFuccia are all incredible (we haven't seen the other doctors there) and really care about our pets and understand how important they are to us. They take the time to make our pets feel comfortable, whether it's escorting our cats to an exam room as soon as we get there so we they don't have to be stressed out by dogs in the waiting room, or giving pets and treats to our dog until she settles down enough so they can do their exam. Our pets have had a couple of minor health issues and they've done a great job of diagnosing them, researching their issues, and coming back with care plans and explaining the costs and pros and cons of different treatments. The front desk is staffed by kind, caring people who always remember us and the doctors always follow up with us to make sure our pets are doing well. I would recommend them to anyone.

I was very impressed with this animal hospital. I took my dog in for her yearly exam and it was a very painless experience (well for me, for her, she had to get some shots...) The vet (Dr Emmelot) was very personable and spent time talking to me and answered all my questions. He was great with my dog, he was very gentle and talked to her to help calm her down. The receptionists were very welcoming and nice. While I hope I don't have to see them until our next yearly exam, I feel good that they are in the neighborhood and around if anything happens. I highly recommend!!

The level of professionalism and dedication at Lincolnshire AH is outstanding. We've been going here for several years for routine care, but our Golden Retriever recently needed surgery. Dr Emmelot listened to all of my concerns, answered all of my questions and explained what was wrong and the needed tests and procedure very thoroughly. He followed up himself, calling to check on her. The staff is outstanding - personable, warm and knowledgable. Wish I could give them more than 5 stars!!

We took our bichon poodle mix here for 6 yeArs, since her first 6 week check up. When we moved out of the area we asked for a referral. At the first visit by the new vet they identified a heart murmur and upon further exam by an out of town vet, the murmur was deemed severe enough to be on medication, as it could lead to congestive heart disease. We have to wonder if Dr Clarke totally missed it at one of the routine visits during the 6 years he and his colleagues saw her.She worsened this summer and we were prescribed more meds and assured this was not a life-ending disease. Not so. She expired 2 weeks later, last Monday after a simple x-Ray. We can't help but wonder why this was not caught earlier. To say we are devastated is an understatement. B. I recently took my dog to this hospital to get a routine check up and update his shots. I used to go to wheeling animal hospital but I changed because of so many good reviews Lincolnshire Animal Hospital has. I will say these reviews are very true. Here was my experience:When I called to make an appointment, the women on the phone was very nice and was very easy to work with. She gave me an appointment time that worked and was flexible to accommodate my request to go in as soon as possible (+1) also excited to meet my dog. I was running a little late to my appointment - Dr. Julie Difuccia called me to make sure I was coming and to see if I needed directions (+1). As I arrived, I checked in and filled out some paperwork and waited (since I was late to my appointment, I expected to wait; no problem!). Once it was my turn, we weighted my dog and went into the exam room. Julie was quick to come into the room to greet me and my dog (+1) some places keep you waiting even in the exam room. She went through the basic exam and told me what items are necessary and what are just optional. I didnt feel like she was trying to sell me more preventatives and unnecessary vaccinations and pressuring me to get them (+1). Then she took my dog to the back where he got his vaccinations and brought him back quickly. She reassured me on items that I was worried regarding the health of my dog and told me that she was confident that everything was good (+1). I paid for the visit and we were on our way. Summary: This place deserves a 5 star rating and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for a good vet. Staff is super nice, Julie is knowledgeable and caring, facility is clean, and most of all, I did not feel judged for being late on vaccines for my dog. Thanks Julie!Post Visit - I got a phone call regarding my dogs heartworm test. It was negative. The reason I mention this is because some places do 'no news is good news' and you dont hear from them after. I think it's good to know all news, good or bad. Also, one of the staff members called me to get my feedback and follow up on my visit to the hospital. I thought this was a great touch. Even though I couldnt pick up the phone due to work, she left a message saying welcome and hoping everything went well and if I was/wasnt happy to contact them right away. Definitely 5 Star rating worthy.

Dr. Difuccia is patient and kind to my mixed breed, Cooper, who is not a huge fan of going to the vet. I don't always like when vets take animals in the back for vaccines, etc, I understand reasoning behind it. When they came back, she told me exactly how they did, and notes that she put in his file for next time. That certainly eased my mind.The front desk is kind and helpful. The only reason I give this 4 out of 5 was because of the tech or assistant that guided us to the scale. She first noticed a dog had made a slight mess on the scale, so she took the mat off, fine. The plain metal scale with no mat did not go over well with Coop and I am all about force-free methods, but I felt like I was being rushed and like I should just throw him on the scale. Not a big deal, but it irked me a bit. I also felt like I was 'in the way' after leaving the exam room, running into someone I knew, chatted with them for a minute, and was somewhat rudely told that someone needed to get by me. That being said, that is the only experience I've had that's not been great. I'll definitely be returning!

Can't say enough about how good they are. Three generations of my family have been customers. About a dozen pets from hamsters to various cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes!The front staff is superior to anywhere else I have had to use. Friendly and reliable. The vet techs are smart and fast and very careful. Again clearly top line staff. It is easy to be great with routine exams. I have had to euthanize two pets and I have never had so much support in so difficult a time. The docs are fantastic. One even came to our house to handle the end stage of our daughter's first dog. Outstanding clinic.

We had gone somewhere else in the past that made us feel very uncomfortable like they have their hands in her pockets but not here. A nice bonus - cut all meds that were half doses. That's just an example of how they do everything.

I mostly deal with Lincolnshire Animal Hospital through my job. I work for a boarding facility and we bring pets in for medical visits or vaccinations. The staff is the friendliest I've come across, from the front desk girls, to the nurses and doctors. They obviously love their jobs and care deeply for the animals. I sometimes bring my own dog in for well-exams, and we live 35 minutes away. This is by far the best veterinary clinic in the Chicagoland area, and I've visited quite a few!

In addition to being a highly competent veterinarian, Dr. Clarke has people skills -- with both people AND their pets. Even our CAT loves this guy, and the dogs... well, let's just say it is a completely different experience now when we say ""let's get in the car and go to the vet"" -- they jump right in, tails wagging! Lincolnshire's prices are fair and a good value for the high quality of care they give. The office staff are all friendly and helpful, the clinic is clean and comfortable, and there is a good-sized parking lot right in front of the building. If you are looking for a really terrific vet, look NO FURTHER than Dr. Clarke and Lincolnshire Animal Hospital.

Extremely disappointed with our most recent experience at your facility. We have a 15 year old cat that has suffered with chronic congestive issues for some time. we have been trying exhaustively to find something to help him find some relief. We went to your hospital hoping for some assistance. We were referred to Dr Stu. Initially all seemed well. He seemed to show some concern but that soon went downhill. Our cat endured several rounds or antibiotics that seemed to work well in the beginning but then turned out to be ineffective. These medicines were difficult for our cat to digest and it was frustrating as we compound the medicine at a specialized pharmacy which costs more than your standard pill. We then tried an anti inflammatory as well as a decongestant. All didn't seem to render really good results. We then opted for a surgical procedure. Our cat found relief for a day or so but again we were back to the beginning. I called Dr Stu and this seems to be where things become problematic. It would seem that Dr Stu isn't very prompt at returning phone calls. When you have a sick cat that can be very frustrating. Finally we heard from him (it took a while) and he suggested another medicine, this time an antiviral. Again we had the drug compounded and sadly it was a disaster from the beginning. Another $80 dollars for nothing. This of course is no ones fault and we weren't blaming anyone. We called Dr Stu to ask about any other options he could think of. He said he would research it and get back to me "in a few days". Again we didn't hear back. My husband left a few messages (3 in total) out of frustration from the lack of response we seemed to receive far too often. Dr Stu finally called and just read me the riot act about how he kept receiving messages and that he had told me it would take some time. Now it wasn't a few days - he was indicating that he had said it would be weeks. No he never said that and he just continued to hammer that we had left messages. I was so put off by his attitude as if we had no right to inquire about our cat. Even a call to say he was still researching it would have been sufficient but to make me feel as if I had no right to call and disturb him seriously makes me question his true dedication, at least where our cat is concerned. As an owner it is so hard to watch your cat struggle to breath. Good Drs try to understand that - at the very least they return a phone call with compassion and not the accusatory tone I was subjected to. Good luck if you ever need to reach someone at this office by phone. You had best be patient as a return call won't be coming very soon.

After having some bad experiences with our original vet (you can find my full review of it here: yelp.com/biz/care-animal…), I called a couple of my dog lover friends in the area for a recommendation on a new vet, and BOTH of them told us to come here. They both told me how every vet they've seen at this practice has been wonderful to them and how caring the entire staff is. And boy, they weren't wrong!When you first walked into the doors at our last vet, I always got an unwelcoming vibe... when you first walk into Lincolnshire Animal Hospital, everyone is smiling and ready to help! Unfortunately, we came here with a dire situation for one of our dogs, but they were so great in explaining his prognosis, gave us options of other tests we can do, what the exact costs were and the pros and cons of doing them, AND also gave us options of how we can make him feel more comfortable. We had many last minute appointments going on in the one week we were there, but they were always very accommodating to fitting us in and kept in touch on the phone with how things were going. Unfortunately, we eventually had to put our dog down only a week later, but I knew we had done the right thing by bringing him here to be taken care of and ultimately be laid to rest by this very loving team.Just today we switched our other dog who has Cushing's to Lincolnshire Animal Hospital, and just like with our 1st dog, the vet explained EVERYTHING in detail of what was going on - i learned more in this one visit than I ever had at all his other appointments at our old vet.Dr. Rasch is our main vet and she has been absolutely wonderful. We've also seen Dr. Emmelot and Dr. DiFuccia who I would also highly recommend. My other friends who referred me here swear by Dr. Clarke and also Dr. Sutkay. Basically, you can't go wrong here!

TWICE, I've been sitting in the waiting area and I've seen them roll their eyes and make fun of the people on the other line (when talking on the phone). The person on the other line must have asked a question that was too "ridiculous" bc after the receptionist hung up the phone, she immediately began talking negatively about the person who had called. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL Every time I call or come in now, I feel very uncomfortable because I know how judgmental and rude the receptionists are. It's like they hate their jobs....

Went here on Thursday because my poor kitty had an eye infection and I couldn't get to see her normal vet who is about an hour away (I moved but haven't changed vets yet). Luckily they were able to squeeze me in. From the beginning the staff is very friendly and it's clear they all work there because they love animals.... which is a huge plus in my book because I'm putting my cat in their hands. The vet we saw, Dr. Rasch, is super friendly and knowledgeable. She definitely put me at ease and tried to keep Laila as calm and happy as possible. My cat is terrified of vets and will sometimes growl and she didn't do any of that even after being poked and prodded. Also... even though we went there for just an eye infection, Dr Rasch did a full exam to make sure overall she was healthy. We even did some blood work to address some questions about my cats recent weight loss. They are full service so they can do surgery there as well, god forbid that's ever needed.Definitely impressed with this place!! And they may become my new primary vet especially because they much closer to my house. It's always hard to find a new vet due to a move and I feel this place would be thorough and take good care of my little fur baby

The receptionists are super polite and friendly...always smiling. The vet techs are knowledgeable and thorough. They even split the pills in your pet's prescription in half for you if necessary. And the vets are just awesome. They'll actually take the time to LISTEN to you and explain everything that is going on in detail. They g...o above and beyond every time. When my dog was vomiting excessively, they were able to fit her in right away and even called to make sure we were still coming. She was seen and treated right away. The next day, Dr. Sutkay called me first thing in the morning to see how my dog was doing. My dog is even much less nervous coming to this office than any other vet's office I've taken her. I LOVE Lincolnshire Animal Hospital. Everyone we have come into contact with here has been an absolute joy to work with.We have had our dog for almost 2 years now, and use Lincolnshire because my MiL has been bringing her dogs there for years.We have seen the majority of the vets and interacted with many techs. Everyone here is a true animal lover and my dog's safety and well being is always their top priority.I always wonder how he behaves when he is taken into the back for blood work, etc. when we can't see him, and one of the techs told me today that he's just fantastic and everyone loves him. This makes me feel so great.We're always able to get in the same day, and they truly care about us and listen to our concerns as well as what symptoms we've seen from him before always thoroughly examining.I recommend LAH to anyone!

First, I will tell you I'm extremely picky about vets as I had a really terrible experience at a different vet, so I may be more critical as my pet's health is important to me. So far everything has been going well, they are friendly and knowledgeable. They speak in manner so that you can understand options and conditions. If you ask, they can recommend one of their vets that may have a deeper knowledge about skin conditions/etc. We've met a few of the vets and they have been down to earth, not pushy to run lots of tests.
The front desk is quick (5Ã faster than the last place).
The only strange thing is we did order a normal blood test and paid for 2 additional values to be tested. It only came back with 1 of the 2 results and when I emailed and asked, I didn't really get a response as to why. I haven't had a chance to follow-up again yet.
Most vets I've been to have been up front about costs before running them and I'm surprised they have not proactively done this. They will if you remember to ask. They are slightly more expensive (maybe 5% more than previous places), so not bad.

Excellent facility in every way. Clean and nice amount of space so you don't have to worry about little Toto being scared to walk by Butkus. Dr. Julie Difuccia was wonderful. Never felt rushed and took the time to really answer all of our questions. She also called the following day to check up on our cat. We will not be going anywhere else. Prices are fair too. We used to go to VCA Hawthorn in Vernon Hills but they try and get you for every little fee and never felt comfortable there.

We've been taking our cats and dog to Lincolnshire Animal Hospital since we moved to the area three years ago. Drs. Emmelot, Sutkay, and DiFuccia are all incredible (we haven't seen the other doctors there) and really care about our pets and understand how important they are to us. They take the time to make our pets feel comfortable, whether it's escorting our cats to an exam room as soon as we get there so we they don't have to be stressed out by dogs in the waiting room, or giving pets and treats to our dog until she settles down enough so they can do their exam. Our pets have had a couple of minor health issues and they've done a great job of diagnosing them, researching their issues, and coming back with care plans and explaining the costs and pros and cons of different treatments. The front desk is staffed by kind, caring people who always remember us and the doctors always follow up with us to make sure our pets are doing well. I would recommend them to anyone.

I was very impressed with this animal hospital. I took my dog in for her yearly exam and it was a very painless experience (well for me, for her, she had to get some shots...) The vet (Dr Emmelot) was very personable and spent time talking to me and answered all my questions. He was great with my dog, he was very gentle and talked to her to help calm her down. The receptionists were very welcoming and nice. While I hope I don't have to see them until our next yearly exam, I feel good that they are in the neighborhood and around if anything happens. I highly recommend!!

The level of professionalism and dedication at Lincolnshire AH is outstanding. We've been going here for several years for routine care, but our Golden Retriever recently needed surgery. Dr Emmelot listened to all of my concerns, answered all of my questions and explained what was wrong and the needed tests and procedure very thoroughly. He followed up himself, calling to check on her. The staff is outstanding - personable, warm and knowledgable. Wish I could give them more than 5 stars!!

At the first visit by the new vet they identified a heart murmur and upon further exam by an out of town vet, the murmur was deemed severe enough to be on medication, as it could lead to congestive heart disease. We have to wonder if Dr Clarke totally missed it at one of the routine visits during the 6 years he and his colleagues saw her.She worsened this summer and we were prescribed more meds and assured this was not a life-ending disease. Not so. She expired 2 weeks later, last Monday after a simple x-Ray. We can't help but wonder why this was not caught earlier. To say we are devastated is an understatement. B. I recently took my dog to this hospital to get a routine check up and update his shots. I used to go to wheeling animal hospital but I changed because of so many good reviews Lincolnshire Animal Hospital has. I will say these reviews are very true. Here was my experience:When I called to make an appointment, the women on the phone was very nice and was very easy to work with. She gave me an appointment time that worked and was flexible to accommodate my request to go in as soon as possible (+1) also excited to meet my dog. I was running a little late to my appointment - Dr. Julie Difuccia called me to make sure I was coming and to see if I needed directions (+1). As I arrived, I checked in and filled out some paperwork and waited (since I was late to my appointment, I expected to wait; no problem!). Once it was my turn, we weighted my dog and went into the exam room. Julie was quick to come into the room to greet me and my dog (+1) some places keep you waiting even in the exam room. She went through the basic exam and told me what items are necessary and what are just optional. I didnt feel like she was trying to sell me more preventatives and unnecessary vaccinations and pressuring me to get them (+1). Then she took my dog to the back where he got his vaccinations and brought him back quickly. She reassured me on items that I was worried regarding the health of my dog and told me that she was confident that everything was good (+1). I paid for the visit and we were on our way. Summary: This place deserves a 5 star rating and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for a good vet. Staff is super nice, Julie is knowledgeable and caring, facility is clean, and most of all, I did not feel judged for being late on vaccines for my dog. Thanks Julie!Post Visit - I got a phone call regarding my dogs heartworm test. It was negative. The reason I mention this is because some places do 'no news is good news' and you dont hear from them after. I think it's good to know all news, good or bad. Also, one of the staff members called me to get my feedback and follow up on my visit to the hospital. I thought this was a great touch. Even though I couldnt pick up the phone due to work, she left a message saying welcome and hoping everything went well and if I was/wasnt happy to contact them right away. Definitely 5 Star rating worthy.

I don't always like when vets take animals in the back for vaccines, etc, I understand reasoning behind it. When they came back, she told me exactly how they did, and notes that she put in his file for next time. That certainly eased my mind.The front desk is kind and helpful. The only reason I give this 4 out of 5 was because of the tech or assistant that guided us to the scale. She first noticed a dog had made a slight mess on the scale, so she took the mat off, fine. The plain metal scale with no mat did not go over well with Coop and I am all about force-free methods, but I felt like I was being rushed and like I should just throw him on the scale. Not a big deal, but it irked me a bit. I also felt like I was 'in the way' after leaving the exam room, running into someone I knew, chatted with them for a minute, and was somewhat rudely told that someone needed to get by me. That being said, that is the only experience I've had that's not been great. I'll definitely be returning!

About a dozen pets from hamsters to various cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes!The front staff is superior to anywhere else I have had to use. Friendly and reliable. The vet techs are smart and fast and very careful. Again clearly top line staff. It is easy to be great with routine exams. I have had to euthanize two pets and I have never had so much support in so difficult a time. The docs are fantastic. One even came to our house to handle the end stage of our daughter's first dog. Outstanding clinic.

We had gone somewhere else in the past that made us feel very uncomfortable like they have their hands in her pockets but not here. A nice bonus - cut all meds that were half doses. That's just an example of how they do everything.

I mostly deal with Lincolnshire Animal Hospital through my job. I work for a boarding facility and we bring pets in for medical visits or vaccinations. The staff is the friendliest I've come across, from the front desk girls, to the nurses and doctors. They obviously love their jobs and care deeply for the animals. I sometimes bring my own dog in for well-exams, and we live 35 minutes away. This is by far the best veterinary clinic in the Chicagoland area, and I've visited quite a few!

Even our CAT loves this guy, and the dogs... well, let's just say it is a completely different experience now when we say ""let's get in the car and go to the vet"" -- they jump right in, tails wagging! Lincolnshire's prices are fair and a good value for the high quality of care they give. The office staff are all friendly and helpful, the clinic is clean and comfortable, and there is a good-sized parking lot right in front of the building. If you are looking for a really terrific vet, look NO FURTHER than Dr. Clarke and Lincolnshire Animal Hospital.
