These people are the nicest, friendliest, vet I've ever been too!! They know their stuff and truly care about your pet n you!! My Boston Terrier needed surgery and they didn't hesitate to say she needed to go to the hospital in Aurora to get the emergency surgery she needed! They wasn't in it for the money... They cared more about my dog and me n my wife then money. I can't stress enough how friendly and great they are. And especially the docs.

Don't believe the high ratings of this place, they failed us. We took our poodle here a year ago for the first time for her yearly exam and preventative shots. In short, we won't be returning and we would not recommend them to anyone. They skipped a critical step that we find unbelievable. At the time we were new pet owners and expected the vet to be on our side, making sure everything was addressed. Apparently that's not the case at this vet. Everything else seemed to be just average with the visit.
On 1/2018, we went to our new vet, LePar in Evergreen Park, and they look over her forwarded records from All Pets. The new vet told us she never had a dog flu vaccine at All Pets! I thought he must have misread the record! She goes to the dog park and meets other dogs ALL THE TIME. I'd gladly pay for the dog flu shot in a second. In fact, she never got this shot from All Pets and they never even brought it up at the visit.
I called All Pets after her recent exam, and their response was (summarized), “If the pet owner says the dog goes to dog parks often, then we recommend the shot. If they don't bring that up, then we don't recommend it.” Excuse me?!? And come again, please?!? We wrote down many topics to discuss but we never mentioned the dog park specifically. So under their philosophy, if a pet doesn't go to the dog park, the dog must never interact with other dogs, lick a fire hydrant, share a slobbery toy, get coughed on by another dog; so there must be no reason to get a dog flu vaccine then? Preposterous! Assume all dogs interact with others! Leave that decision to us, the pet owners!!
We wonder how many other dogs have been to All Pets and left without the dog flu vaccine because they mention these dog interactions! Luckily, she did not get the dog flu despite interacting with other dogs constantly! And this past year was a very bad dog flu year! If my dog got the dog flu and/or died, we would have sued them.
If I was a vet, I'd use a simple disposable checklist of things to mention in the exam to ensure that every topic is brought up no matter who initiates the conversation! Dr. Navin is older and maybe forgetful. Whether he's forgetful or not, CERTAIN TOPICS SHOULD BE ADDRESSED at every single visit. Remind the pet owner of ALL their vaccine options and let the owner choose. My dog was unprotected during a bad dog flu year due to their incompetency. The new vet (Le Par) couldn't believe it. My dog ended up needing the shot at the exam, and a booster shot on a later date, at my inconvenience. Don't mess with All Pets!

This vet is the best, such friendly staff and very helpful. I’ve been going to another vet for 14 years and they never knew my name by my face. this one I’ve been going to for a month and not only do they know my name they know my dogs name. The doggie daycare is amazing too!!! Highly recommend both.

Very happy with the vets. Dr. Navins was only vet to correctly diagnose my puppies problems. Unfortunately we were only to able to spend a few more months with her. The Staff was extremely sympathetic to our loss. We will continue to stay with them for my other dogs. I think they are a very professional staff.

I transferred my dogs to this vet clinic about 1-2 years ago, and have been incredibly happy ever since! I see Dr. Harris, and he's the best. I enjoy seeing his passion for animals when caring for my fur babies. He has even called to give me test results, instead of the vet techs. They always get my dogs in for check ups without having to wait. They even asked me to email pictures of my dogs so they can see if a visit was necessary. Love this clinic, and recommend it to all the fur parents out there!!!

I'm a huge fan of All Pets. Take both of my bulldogs there. Love all the staff from the ladies at the front, to the amazing vet techs and the doctors. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Horrible place all they care about is money. They are the reason why my puppy is gone and all they had to say was send a I'm sorry post card in the mail. Avoid this place at all cost.

Great staff that truly care about you and your pets. We've been going to Dr. Navin for years for the care of our English Bulldog and French Bulldog. If you have a bulldog then you'll want to come here, they are a unique breed that needs an experienced Doctor to care for them. We've also put our pets in the care of Dr. Harres and Dr. Little and have been really happy with their care as well and have no problem seeing any of the staff there. Unfortunately recently due to a major health issue we had to put our English Bulldog to sleep. It was his time to go and it was not easy for us to do but everyone from the front desk, vet techs and the Doctors took great care of us and our dog to the very end. More importantly I'd like to point out the memorialization of our pet. It is by far the best we've seen. We loved him very much and All Pets preserved his memory incredibly well. From his ink-stamped dog print to the impression of his paw in clay, it is the best we've seen and means so much to us. We will continue to come to All Pets for the care of any pets in our lives. We drive 20+ miles here and would never consider going elsewhere.

I've been going to Dr Navin since he started practicing in Lockport & he always was the most compassionate & caring Vet & took excellent care if my cats. I moved for a few years & got my first dog, a pom & sadly never found a Vet like him, but moved back to Lockport. Little Bear needed knee surgery & I couldn't find anyone to do it without cash in hand where I lived before & could only go for walks in a puppy stroller. Once Dr Navin saw him, he got his knee surgeries done & Little Bear finally got to play & go for walks! I know I wouldn't have my best friend, Little Bear if it wasn't for Dr Navin & his staff. They all truly love animals & go out of their way. Much love & gratefulness.

I brought my 12 year old chihuahua in to Dr. Navin for her yearly exam and because I was concerned about the quality of her teeth despite attempts to brush with various gels and pastes. Dr. Navin recommended a teeth cleaning. I had been avoiding a cleaning for my dog because she has seizures and a heart murmur. I have always been weary of anesthesia and extra worried because of her health issues. The day of her procedure arrived and I was extremely nervous. The vet tech who came to discuss the procedure with me was extremely patient and kind to me. She did let me know that my dog was at a higher risk but reminded me that her heart issues could be caused by her bad teeth. I said my prayers and handed her over. I went home and cried hoping that when they called me, they would deliver good news. They called about two and a half hours after I dropped her off and let me know that she did a great job and had come out of the anesthesia. They asked that I give her 2 more hours for them to monitor her. I was so grateful for the phone call. The vet tech who discussed next steps with me was even more fantastic. She took the time to explain everything I needed to do with my dog to ensure a safe and speedy recovery. She explained my dog had to have 24 teeth extracted. I had no idea they were that bad! When they brought my dog out, she looked peaceful wrapped in warm blankets. She laid on me all day. By the next day, she was running around the house begging me to take her for a walk! Since then, she has been doing really well and is acting like a much younger version of herself! Thank you, All Pets for taking such great care of her and helping me make it through the process, as well!

We can't begin to tell you how wonderful everyone there is. We have been taking our pet there off and on for quite a few years. I can say this much, we will never take our pets anywhere else! We recently brought in a young Chorkie named Rachel that our granddaughter rescued. She was left without food and water for almost a week & pregnant to boot. Her picture is on the photo page. Dr. Harres and Lisa (I'm not sure if that's her name.) took wonderful care of her. Today, sadly, we brought our Lacey in for her final visit, she had 14 good years and we miss her. Dr. Little and the wonderful young lady took such care with her. Her last few minutes were not painful. These people are all WONDERFUL from the ladies at the front desk to the doctors and their assistants. Thank You, Jim & Arlene Young

Love All Pets. Have been coming here ever since I've had Bull Dogs. See Dr.Harres and I'm confident with him and the APH staff. I don't question my dogs' care when they're there. Luckily they tolerate neurotic-dog-mom with ease. The pharmacy always has my dog's scripts prepared correctly and quickly. Not sure about some reviews regarding front desk staff... I transferred my dogs to this vet clinic about 1-2 years ago, and have been incredibly happy ever since! I see Dr. Harris, and he's the best. I enjoy seeing his passion for animals when caring for my fur babies. He has even called to give me test results, instead of the vet techs. They always get my dogs in for check ups without having to wait. They even asked me to email pictures of my dogs so they can see if a visit was necessary. Love this clinic, and recommend it to all the fur parents out there!!!

I'm a huge fan of All Pets. Take both of my bulldogs there. Love all the staff from the ladies at the front, to the amazing vet techs and the doctors. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is the reason why my 11 month old puppy passed away didn't check for internal injuries or anything after she was attacked by another animal and then she passed away from an internal injury a week later. Horrible place all they care about is money. They are the reason why my puppy is gone and all they had to say was send a I'm sorry post card in the mail. Avoid this place at all cost.

Great staff that truly care about you and your pets. We've been going to Dr. Navin for years for the care of our English Bulldog and French Bulldog. If you have a bulldog then you'll want to come here, they are a unique breed that needs an experienced Doctor to care for them. We've also put our pets in the care of Dr. Harres and Dr. Little and have been really happy with their care as well and have no problem seeing any of the staff there. Unfortunately recently due to a major health issue we had to put our English Bulldog to sleep. It was his time to go and it was not easy for us to do but everyone from the front desk, vet techs and the Doctors took great care of us and our dog to the very end. More importantly I'd like to point out the memorialization of our pet. It is by far the best we've seen. We loved him very much and All Pets preserved his memory incredibly well. From his ink-stamped dog print to the impression of his paw in clay, it is the best we've seen and means so much to us. We will continue to come to All Pets for the care of any pets in our lives. We drive 20+ miles here and would never consider going elsewhere.

I've been going to Dr Navin since he started practicing in Lockport & he always was the most compassionate & caring Vet & took excellent care if my cats. I moved for a few years & got my first dog, a pom & sadly never found a Vet like him, but moved back to Lockport. Little Bear needed knee surgery & I couldn't find anyone to do it without cash in hand where I lived before & could only go for walks in a puppy stroller. Once Dr Navin saw him, he got his knee surgeries done & Little Bear finally got to play & go for walks! I know I wouldn't have my best friend, Little Bear if it wasn't for Dr Navin & his staff. They all truly love animals & go out of their way. Much love & gratefulness.

I brought my 12 year old chihuahua in to Dr. Navin for her yearly exam and because I was concerned about the quality of her teeth despite attempts to brush with various gels and pastes. Dr. Navin recommended a teeth cleaning. I had been avoiding a cleaning for my dog because she has seizures and a heart murmur. I have always been weary of anesthesia and extra worried because of her health issues. The day of her procedure arrived and I was extremely nervous. The vet tech who came to discuss the procedure with me was extremely patient and kind to me. She did let me know that my dog was at a higher risk but reminded me that her heart issues could be caused by her bad teeth. I said my prayers and handed her over. I went home and cried hoping that when they called me, they would deliver good news. They called about two and a half hours after I dropped her off and let me know that she did a great job and had come out of the anesthesia. They asked that I give her 2 more hours for them to monitor her. I was so grateful for the phone call. The vet tech who discussed next steps with me was even more fantastic. She took the time to explain everything I needed to do with my dog to ensure a safe and speedy recovery. She explained my dog had to have 24 teeth extracted. I had no idea they were that bad! When they brought my dog out, she looked peaceful wrapped in warm blankets. She laid on me all day. By the next day, she was running around the house begging me to take her for a walk! Since then, she has been doing really well and is acting like a much younger version of herself! Thank you, All Pets for taking such great care of her and helping me make it through the process, as well!

We can't begin to tell you how wonderful everyone there is. We have been taking our pet there off and on for quite a few years. I can say this much, we will never take our pets anywhere else! We recently brought in a young Chorkie named Rachel that our granddaughter rescued. She was left without food and water for almost a week & pregnant to boot. Her picture is on the photo page. Dr. Harres and Lisa (I'm not sure if that's her name.) took wonderful care of her. Today, sadly, we brought our Lacey in for her final visit, she had 14 good years and we miss her. Dr. Little and the wonderful young lady took such care with her. Her last few minutes were not painful. These people are all WONDERFUL from the ladies at the front desk to the doctors and their assistants. Thank You, Jim & Arlene Young

Love All Pets. Have been coming here ever since I've had Bull Dogs. See Dr.Harres and I'm confident with him and the APH staff. I don't question my dogs' care when they're there. Luckily they tolerate neurotic-dog-mom with ease. The pharmacy always has my dog's scripts prepared correctly and quickly. Not sure about some reviews regarding front desk staff... I could chat their ears off all day, always nice to me!

I started seeing Dr Navin when I adopted my 2 cats in the early 90's when he was a visiting Vet! He was and IS so compassionate and gentle and adores all animals. I've never ever had a bad experience...
I started seeing Dr Navin when I adopted my 2 cats in the early 90's when he was a visiting Vet! He was and IS so compassionate and gentle and adores all animals. I've never ever had a bad experience there, even with his staff. Now it's 2008 and he's taking care of my Pomeranian... and is excellent!If you need a vet, see Navin!
