Our special companion, a member of our family was diagnosed with cancer yesterday. Dr. Margaret was very caring and truthful with us about his prognosis. She did not perform all sorts of tests to make money when she believed the outcome would not change and he might likely suffer with surgical intervention. Scotty was prescribed medication for pain control which she could have sold me at her clinic to make more money, but instead she suggested I take her script to walmart where it could be filled for $4. This clinic is not fancy, and that is evident in her prices. We take our pets to her for her knowledge and genuine concern for their best interest, not to be impressed by the glamour of her facility. I recently brought in my dog and Dr. Rogers and AJ were wonderful. My dog is very nervous about going to the vet. The last vet I took him to, he had to be muzzled, but not at Wingate. Dr. Rogers set it up so that we were the only ones in the office and let my dog get use to the place. AJ worked with the dog so that he felt comfortable with AJ. I would recommend this vet to any one who has an animal that is afraid of going to the vet. Read Less
