I have been bringing my dog and cat here for 10+ years but my parents have brought our family pets here my whole life. When my cat was sick and had to be put down the whole staff had such compassion. When my dog was attacked by another dog a vet and tech stayed late on a Friday to care for my fur baby. They are AAHA approved meaning they need to pass an inspection and meet certain standards. I can trust them and am happy that such a wonderful animal hospital is in McHenry.

My 12 year old Bishon/Toy Poodle has had lots of "unknown issues". After bills of x-rays, antibiotics and getting really no where, its been nice to find a vet like Lakeland Animal Clinic. I initially met Dr. Dunn. He made me feel at ease, like someone cared and was going to look into things for me! I wanted to return. . They're honest, and find answers. I like that. I was told to go here a long time ago. No snarky, unprofessional staff there. They all communicate and seem to actually know your dog instead the name on your invoice. When I met Dr. Dave Billig I was impressed! He's been honest & upfront. Refreshing to meet people who are just good at what they do. I cant thank them enough! Just glad I got a second opinion!!!
