Took our 3-1/2 year old Cavalier King Charles in to have her teeth cleaned. They were to call us if any teeth needed to be extracted. My husband received a call saying "we have some bad news". He was expecting them to say they need to extract a tooth or more than one, but he was told "she didn't make it". They put her under and she stopped breathing, then she started breathing again, then her heart stopped. They performed 15 minutes of CPR before calling her deceased. However, before calling my husband they took a radiograph of her heart and told us she had an enlarged heart. I question how they would know that without having a baseline of her heart to determine whether it was enlarged or not. I would bet they didn't complete any bloodwork before putting her under and I question why they didn't check before putting her under that her heart was enlarged. You may ask why i haven't contacted the vet for answers - it wouldn't change the fact we lost our precious fur baby. However, I can tell you I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CLINIC!

I truly don't think I can put a price on the health and well-being of my two fur-babies. That being said, ARVC is one of the most affordable vets I've been to and I trust them completely with my pets....

The vets are AWESOME! We came as a referral when our old vet retired and we didn't care for the one who took over. I couldn't be happier with the care my dog had received.

Caring and informative but was timid with my 76lbs pup.. He was a little over protective because of this. I was also charged allot more than quoted over the phone. Currently seeking another Vet.

Absolutely amazing people. If you want a veterinarian and staff who truly love your animals as much as you do, then this is the place to go! Not only are they animal lovers, but they have the newest and best technology. At the age of 14 my Akita had suffered a couple of strokes. Unfortunately she has recently passed at the age of 17. However, I truly believe if it hadn't been for Dr Bob's love, understanding, patience and knowledge my wonderful Akita would NEVER have lived to be 17 yrs old. When she passed they sent me a sympathy card and everyone wrote a personal messages inside. She wasn't just a dog to me, she was my family and best friend. Dr Bob never treated her like she was just an animal. I ended up going here because I had an emergency (my dogs stroke) it was during office hours no and one else would see her (the ER wasn't open yet). I kept going here because of the wonderful care! I now take all of my babies there... They are the best in my book! Every one of them. They're wonderfully compassionate and will always have my business. I truly can't say enough good things about them! Thank you Andalusia Vet Clinic!

Robert Herath was absolutely fantastic! My bird had a broken foot, and we were a last minute appointment. He waited for us even when we got caught up in AWFUL traffic! He weighed the bird, asked questions, and handled the bird well. It was very easy to tell he knew what he was doing.
He gave me lots of information without me even asking. He was informative (in a polite manner) and fixed everything quickly. He was friendly, his staff is fantastic, and I couldn't ask for a better vet. I'd only been to one vet before and was very skeptical about going to vets for birds --- but never again! This guy is GREAT!

He gave me lots of information without me even asking. He was informative (in a polite manner) and fixed everything quickly. He was friendly, his staff is fantastic, and I couldn't ask for a better vet. I'd only been to one vet before and was very skeptical about going to vets for birds --- but never again! This guy is GREAT!
