Oak Knoll Animal Hospital

Moline, Illinois
General Info
Oak Knoll Animal Hospital in Moline continues to be a meaningful part of many local pet owners’ lives. Pet owners in Illinois benefit from a veterinary care model at Oak Knoll Animal Hospital Moline which focuses on every aspect of development while remaining flexible. Veterinary appointments originate from household co-analysis of weekly family reports concerning the observed pet behavior. During initial visits, patients are subjected to comprehensive physical examinations. An investigator evaluates their dental health, gaits, joint range, eye condition, hydration status, and nervous system responses. Owners can report several behavioral patterns such as changes in eating habits, sleep routines, and handling tolerance. These patterns set the pace of care and ensure that no premature decisions are made. Oak Knoll Animal Hospital provides preventive care, diagnostic panels, weight management, surgical consultations, senior wellness programs, and chronic disease counseling. Plans are tailored to the family environment, be it an urban apartment with new noises or a house with multiple pets at different life stages. Pet owners find empowerment and confidence to progress from prevention to diagnosis and monitoring, as well as from pain alleviation to long-term equilibrium, by implementing these strategies. Each step is explained in plain language. Progress monitoring targets behavior and simplicity of home care as well as preparedness of the next visit. Instead, the team employs a spaced approach, offering flexible schedules and optional check-ins to ease the burden on participating families. Oak Knoll Animal Hospital provides veterinary care to Moline families and the entire Illinois state, harmonizing with life’s rhythm by being attentive, well-organized and mutually progressive. The most popular services offered at this facility include vaccinations, surgery and dental care, orthopedic surgery, wellness exams and nutritional counseling, prescription medications, spay/neuter procedures, and an in-house pharmacy. Through a commitment to open communication and high standards, the hospital helps pet owners feel confident in their pets’ health plans and treatments. The team is dedicated to growth and actively engaging with the community to ensure that pets within Moline and the greater United States area receive premium care.

Love this animal hospital! Staff are always friendly and Dr. Chelsea Clinton is wonderful. Once you check-in at the front desk, there is virtually no wait time before you are sent back to a private room! I was informed by staff that they recently added the option to set up a Payment Plan for customers... so if you are unable to pay the full bill at the time of service, you have the option to pay the balance over a period of time. Also, I must add that you can book appointments on their website instead of having to call to make an appointment. Any time of the day or night this service is available, and so convenient! Based off of my experience, I can say I highly recommend Oak Knoll. :) Read Less

We have been taking our animals to Oak Knoll for over 10 years. This past month, we have been contending with fleas for the first time ever. The staff has been so helpful, both over the phone and when we're in for appointments. One of our cats has been sick and passed away this week, and they were all so great, getting us in at 7:30 when I called at 7 am in tears. Dr. Clinton spent nearly 45 minutes with us talking about affordable options for Minerva, and she didn't pass judgment when we made the incredibly difficult decision to let Minerva go if there was an emergency. Through our flea problem, two vets, two techs, and two front desk staff have been so helpful. Dr. Clinton sat down with us and helped us devise a more aggressive plan of attack at home to battle the fleas that have been plaguing all of our fur babies. She wrote everything down from the schedule to administer flea meds and flea baths for the remaining four, to when and how to treat our home, and with which products, to kill the nasty little buggers. She didn't have to do that, and we appreciate her focused attention. We've lost two fur babies over the years, and the staff have been so supportive through it all. I would recommend that you check out the clinic and hospital for your fur babies.Read Less

Oak Knoll is absolutely AMAZING! Our dog, Dozer, was having trouble urinating. We called and they got him in the same day. After taking radiographic images they found there were stones in his bladder. Dr. Lundeen was very clear on what our options were for treatment. We decided to do a cyctotomy to remove the stones from his bladder. Unfortunately some stones came back the next week. Dr. Lundeen was out of the office so Dr. Clinton took on his case while she was out. Dr. Clinton was also amazing! A second cyctotomy had to be performed. They listened to my concerns. Listened to what research I found and also looked into what I had found also. Cystine stones are what Dozer has and are rare in dogs, so it isn't something that is delt with on a daily basis.
