As one of my colleagues recommended Preiser Animal Hospital for my cat€s dental treatment, I checked Preiser Animal Hospital€s reviews through online, and then, decided to take my cat to that office.
I took my cat€s all medical records including the most recent comprehensive blood test to meet Dr. Katharyn Kryda on 05/10/2017 (Wednesday) around at 9 am. While Dr. Kryda was examining my cat, my cat just has bloody stool uncontrollably. The Staff took a sample of my cat€s stool to send it to the lab, because of Dr. Kryda wanted to make sure whether my cat€s condition is okay to put her down under anesthesia for dental treatment.
Dr. Kryda mentioned me my cat might be need to take some medicine depends on the result of the stool test, she tried to explain me what she was concerning but I only remember €....GI balance...blah blah blah€
Dr. Kryda told me she will call me in the afternoon on the same day with the result of the stool test. So, if necessary, I should stop by the office again to pick up the specific medicine. She also told me that she can provide a detail estimate via email if I set up the appointment for dental treatment, so, I did set up the appointment immediately before I left the office. I was look for an earliest date for my cat, but the receptionist booked me for 05/30/2017 which is 20 days later with Dr. Franky (?).
Whatever, I waited for Dr. Kryda€s or any staff€s phone calls with the result on that date, but nobody called or email me. I thought they were very busy on that date, so, I emailed them the next day (Thursday), but still no response until this morning on Friday. I called and left a message to Ms. Katie (?) but still didn€t receive any returning call. Therefore, I visited the office at noon to find out why nobody contacts to update me with the result of my cat€s stool test & the estimate for dental treatment. There were two receptionists - according to their reaction to me, they were not professionals - at the front desk. One is young lady with gold hair and other lady was older, I am not sure but I think this older lady€s name is Katie. Whatever, the older lady went to the back office, and came back to me with an answer, €The test is Negative€. I felt so bad with the way she talk to me, it was not nice voice tone, even she didn€t try to hide her bad feeling on her face at me. She seems to me that she is already annoyed at me. I tried be patience one more time with her and asked €What about the estimate?€ She started to prepare the estimate through the monitor with a paper of price list at that moment! She said the estimate has not been prepared by the staff (?) yet because they had an emergency matter yesterday (Thursday). So, I mentioned her that I was on Wednesday and I supposed to be contacted on that date. Then, she said that normally doctor doesn€t call to the patient if the test result comes out €Negative€! - Anyone has heard about this kind of reason why the patient was not contacted from doctor€s office? - I asked her for my cat€s record and cancelled the next appointment because I can€t trust their work (treatment) anymore for my cat. She went back to the back office and came back with a sheet of paper (my cat€s record), and said €Here you go-!€ If she tried to kick out Asian clients from that hospital on behalf of someone (owner or doctor), I bet she did really, really a good job! I never seen or treated that way from any other doctor€s office! - One of waiting clients looked all the old staff€s manner and suggested me (in front of the staff) to contact the owner, Dr. Kristine direct.- The staff (old lady) attitude to the client was terrible and I believe she never trained or educated well. I believe the staff at the front desk is the face of the business and the Preiser Animal Hospital doesn€t have a standard to hire their employees. Read Less
