My parents started bringing our dogs to Dr. Z when I was in middle school. I'm 47 now and still bring my own fur babies to Dr. Z's. He's just a really good person, and an excellent vet, who wants only the best for your pet. All of the staff is friendly and genuinely interested in your pets well being. Yes, you pay a bit more... but you get so much more in return. Thank you Dr. Z and company!

My dog had been sick for a couple of days and I was really getting down about it. So, I decided to take him to the Animal Hospital of O'fallon. There was a young man at the desk with dark hair. I as...
My dog had been sick for a couple of days and I was really getting down about it. So, I decided to take him to the Animal Hospital of O'fallon. There was a young man at the desk with dark hair. I asked if they had any openings available and he said no and there wasn't a chance my dog Gunner could be seen. The vet was due in 30 minutes later. I proceeded to tell the young man my dog's symtoms and he immediately cut me off and said, "I'm going to have to ask you to step outside with your dog. He may have parvo and I'm going to mop the floors just in case." He was very rude and insensitive about my situation. My dogs are my family and there could have been better ways of handling it. I drove to the Animal Hospital up the street and they took me right in. They didn't make feel as if my dog was going to die on the spot along with infecting every other animal in the clinic. Turned out Gunner did not have parvo. Great news for me, but I'll never take my dog back to the Animal Hospital of O'fallon. Hope someone takes this seriously and change the way they conduct business.

Dr. Ziegler is a very compassionate person. He has been my furbabies doctor for about 10 years and he recently had to put my best friend to sleep after many surgeries to remove tumors over the years. ...
Dr. Ziegler is a very compassionate person. He has been my furbabies doctor for about 10 years and he recently had to put my best friend to sleep after many surgeries to remove tumors over the years. I truly can not say enough good things about Dr. Ziegler and his staff. They even sent me a sympathy card signed personally by all of them. I will always take my babies to him.

Dr. Ziegler is so compassionate and caring. He treats my four legged babies as if they are his own. He also treats us humans as if we are his family. Great staff. He has been our vet for 16 years and 3 doggies. I recommend him to all my dog/cat owning family, friends, and strangers.

We switched to this vet only based on location to our house and have been so happy with the service! I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else. The staff is so friendly and personable, we're so glad we found this place. They are always on time for your appointment and make it an easy trip. They also take last minute appointments and changes with no issues and are always kind to us and our pet. I definitely recommend this place!

We have gone to Dr. Ziegler and his staff with all of our pets since the mid 1990's, We can't begin to thank all of them enough for the excellent care they have shown our pets and the consideration shown to us as pet owners no matter how happy or sad the occasion. The best decision we ever made was to take our first dog, Charlie, to FHAC. We made a wise decision and highly recommend FHAC to anyone who is in doubt about selecting a highly skilled veterinarian and staff.

I have trusted Dr. Ziegler with all of my four legged children for the past 16 years. He is a caring and compassionate vet. His staff is excellent - including the front desk, the techs, the boarding staff, and the office manager (Becky). I can't say enough positive things about this office!!!

Our best friend (Jack the dog) , was run over by a truck on January 10, 2008. We did not have a Vet. The Animal Hospital of O fallon was the closest place to take him. Dr. Gattuso and his staff were excellent. Our dog survived thanks to their experience and kindness. They treated us as if we had been coming to them for years. Dr. Gattuso was able to treat Jack without unnecessary procedures, or taking advantage of our situation. He provided the highest quality care at a reasonable price. Due to this I would recommend this office to anyone. Thanks to their dedication and knowledge our dog is alive and doing excellent.

Both doctors extremely caring. Dr. Lawler provided follow-up after hours on a weekend to check on our pet's status. Assistants very good & caring towards the animals and owners, too.

My parents started bringing our dogs to Dr. Z when I was in middle school. I'm 47 now and still bring my own fur babies to Dr. Z's. He's just a really good person, and an excellent vet, who wants only the best for your pet. All of the staff is friendly and genuinely interested in your pets well being. My dog had been sick for a couple of days and I was really getting down about it. So, I decided to take him to the Animal Hospital of O'fallon. There was a young man at the desk with dark hair. The staff is so friendly and personable, we're so glad we found this place. They are always on time for your appointment and make it an easy trip. We have gone to Dr. Ziegler and his staff with all of our pets since the mid 1990's, We can't begin to thank all of them enough for the excellent care they have shown our pets and the consideration shown to us as pet owners no matter how happy or sad the occasion.
