An 11 week old puppy comes to DeerGrove Animal Hospital for her Parvo vaccine. Mark Flahaven does the check up first making sure she is healthy, and then administers the shot. Says goodbye, see you in 1 month. Puppy dies 36 hours later. They are trying to tell us they don't know what caused her death. A healthy puppy! He never told us this could be dangerous or what to look for. He forgot or was just negligent. He refuses to take any blame in my puppy death. Yes, it was the vaccine that killed her, but it should have come with a warning that this could be dangerous. He is negligent. He was the professional, it was his job! I wish I knew that I had to learn vaccines before going to him. He now is lying that he told what to look for. So now we get the lawyers involved.

Great animal hospital! The staff and the doctor were amazing and compassionate. This was my first trip there and unfortunately it will be my last. My dog became suddenly ill and his condition deteriorated very fast, but they worked him in very quickly. Sadly the end result was to have him put to sleep, but the doctor leveled with us about our options, and unlike other animal clinics, he didn't try to push us towards the pricey surgeries that had a high probability of only extending his suffering. If another dog is in my future and I'm still in the area, this will be the only animal hospital I would use.

I had my dog fixed here. Very friendly and professional stuff. If you new in the area and looking for a vet, you've found it. I highly recomend this place.

Deer Grove animal hospital supports our Rescue by treating our Dogs and Cats who are rescued from High Kill animal shelters. Without Deer Grove, we would not be able to keep saving animals - its great to have a vet that supports rescue efforts as well. We bring cats and dogs almost daily to Deer Grove for treatment and our rescue animals get 10 star treatment! Its a great office.

The are simply amazing. Dr. Mark and staff are terrific but the Doctor goes above the call. We have lost both a dog of 12 years and our cat of 13 years all in a matter of 10 weeks, and they have been there every step of the way to help. Can't say enough about this office.

Dr. Lang has been our vet since he worked out of PetSmart's Banfield Animal Hospitals in the 1990s, and opened his own practice 14 years ago. He's patient, smart and loves companion animals and the people who care for them. I can't imagine taking our pets anywhere else. His bedside manner is gentle and friendly, and he recommends the best and most economical treatment plans when necessary.

We've taken two dogs here for about 6 years. Dr. Lang has been a very caring vet and has taken great care of our dogs. I can't agree with the "over medicated" comments posted here - this hasn't been our experience at all. Dr. Lang has always told us the various options for treatment for our dogs. One of our dogs had a lot of health problems and we were given the minimal medications that really worked well; our other dog has been generally healthy and Dr. Lang has never pushed any meds for him at all.

An 11 week old puppy comes to DeerGrove Animal Hospital for her Parvo vaccine. Mark Flahaven does the check up first making sure she is healthy, and then administers the shot. Great animal hospital! The staff and the doctor were amazing and compassionate. This was my first trip there and unfortunately it will be my last. My dog became suddenly ill and his condition deteriorated very fast, but they worked him in very quickly. Sadly the end result was to have him put to sleep, but the doctor leveled with us about our options, and unlike other animal clinics, he didn't try to push us towards the pricey surgeries that had a high probability of only extending his suffering. Deer Grove animal hospital supports our Rescue by treating our Dogs and Cats who are rescued from High Kill animal shelters. Without Deer Grove, we would not be able to keep saving animals - its great to have a vet that supports rescue efforts as well. We bring cats and dogs almost daily to Deer Grove for treatment and our rescue animals get 10 star treatment! Its a great office.

He's patient, smart and loves companion animals and the people who care for them. I can't imagine taking our pets anywhere else. I can't agree with the "over medicated" comments posted here - this hasn't been our experience at all. Dr. Lang has always told us the various options for treatment for our dogs.
