I've always taken my animals here. Just recently I got married and my husband was taking his animals to a vet in Peoria. I finally convinced him to switched to good shepherd. Hopefully when we do have to take his cat in he will realize how much I like this vet. (After spending $600 on his cat without shots just for exams at his current vet he will be happy to switch) we are changing vets because his vet would price quote prices and we always had to pay $50-$100 more every time. I can't believe he wasted so much money on a money hungry vet. Good Shepherd is there for the animals not the money.

Have been going to Dr. Sassman for about 7years and I am very happy with her, her staff, her work ethics, and the care provided to my fur babies. The Doc is very matter of fact, straight talker, and won't do anything unnecessary for the care of the animals brought to her. Doc is very knowledgeable on traditional, new and trending treatments, for the care of my fur babies - there's always multiple options that she offers depending on my finances. I do recommend her to anyone who asks me. I won't take my fur babies to anyone else.

Dr. Sassman and Jill are awesome! I trust in them to take great care on my animals. I have boarded my dog there with no second thoughts. I take my dog and 4 cats here. When my cat had issues, the staff treated it seriously and understood my concern. Dr. Sassman addressed all my questions in a very professional and down to earth manner.They are very reasonably priced, with no "extras" added onto my bill - some vets will charge an "office visit" or other random fees.The facility is conveniently located and always clean. You can't help but love Jill's husbands drawings on the wall.

On the first saturday of the month (about every 3 months), they have a low cost shot clinic for cats and dogs. Prices are about a third of what you pay at your own vet. I haven't used Dr. Sassman or their clinic for regular services, but I've been using the shot clinic for years. Great deal!

On the first saturday of the month (about every 3 months), they have a low cost shot clinic for cats and dogs. Prices are about a third of what you pay at your own vet. I haven't used Dr. Sassman or their clinic for regular services, but I've been using the shot clinic for years. Great deal!
