Today was my first time in this veterinary clinic, not only were the staff members exceedingly welcoming but they also were incredibly accommodating and informative. Both the tech and the Veterinarian both seemed in love with there jobs and it showed with how they handled my cat and conducted themselves. I'll be sure to continue to use this clinic in the future and I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking medical treatment for their pets.

I could not be happier with my experience taking my two parakeets to All Pets, especially the avian Dr. there, Dr. Burmeister. He was very considerate of both me and my birds, conscientious, knowledgeable, generous with his time, pleasant with a sense of humor, and extremely patient- and did I say knowledgeable and experienced with birds?! Yes. My husband and I traveled an hour to get to the closest bird vet and then we had to wait a long time. But once I understood it was because Dr. Burmeister gave "his patients" the time they needed and took the time to answer all my questions when it was my turn, I was completely fine with it. I actually came away with an even deeper appreciation and love for my birds. 5 stars plus!!!

Love them. They are very caring and take great care of my birds. When one conure became ill on a Sunday and I needed a Dr Now! Sadly, no one was available at Tri-County (after hours vet) and they informed me they had no Dr to contact. Dr Burmeister was out of town. I drove to Uninversity of Illinois. All Pets worked wonderfully with U of I to try to save my baby. Alas, it did not happen. (She was a rescue and I'm thinking she may have been older than I was told when I got her and therefore unable to fight this illness.) But they were wonderful and when she needed something that was not available in Peo they let me know and back to U of I. They corresponded with them and me the whole time she was in this tandem care. I have only seen loving care to both owners and patients.

The first time I took my puppy there, they cut his quick. He screamed out in pain and would never let you touch his paws for the rest of his life. Doctor visits were a painful experience. The doctor would get several other workers and all hold down my dog and put a muzzle on him just to do the exam. After researching online how to make visits better, I read that the dog acts that way because they are trying to protect the owner. When I suggested I leave the room for the exam, they looked at me like I was crazy. I did so anyway and the problems were gone after that. I would think the doctor should have known this from the beginning. I now to go Prospect Animal Clinic and they are much better and more knowledgeable with my pets.

The staff at All Pets and my visits there are some of the best I've had at a vet over the years. I have never met a staff as compassionate and understanding as those at All Pets; they took care of my cat like he was their own while he was hospitalized there. They all went above and beyond to make sure my cat and I had the best experience; from giving me time each day to visit to spending time with my cat when I couldn't be there, I knew my cat was as happy as he could be in their care. We were especially lucky to have Dr. Dave as our vet. He was very communicative and made sure I felt comfortable with the care and treatment plan for my cat during the entire week of hospitalization. He was honest and straightforward and patiently answered all my questions (even when I asked the same ones a few times!) I can't say enough about how amazing All Pets is and how lucky my cats are to have them as their vet!

I had a great experience here! The staff was friendly, they were able to see my Zorro within just a few hours of calling (he was having some leg pain and limping so it was somewhat urgent), the vet (Dr. Borgeson) spent a good 30 minutes in the room with us and answered all of my questions. She did not rush me at all and took the time to get to know my little one. Also, their prices were incredibly reasonable, and they gave me all of the instructions I needed for follow up as well as a pamplet for the medication Zorro went home on. I had an incredible experience here and will be making this our regular vet for both our boxer shepherd and our chihuahua,

I have been a pet owner for over 20 years, and I have been to many vets over that time. I live one hour from All Pets, and it is well worth the drive.
I loved my last vet, but when I tried to get an emergency appointment because my dog couldn't even get up, they said they couldn't see her for 4 days. I called All Pets, because I knew one of the staff, and they got me in an hour later. Dr. Burmeister spent the entire afternoon with us. After a series of laser therapy treatments, she acts like a puppy again.
I never felt pressured to buy anything,, including the food we now have her on. When I asked to buy a different heartworm med, because she threw up the other one she was on, I was told I could get a refund for the one that made her sick.
They also never pressured me to run tests or to take x-rays. They give you options and let you decide how aggressively you want to pursue treatment.
From the vets to the office staff to the techs, I have had nothing but vey positive experiences and plan to bring my exotics and dogs and cats there in the future.

Like the previous reviewer I feel like I'm being forced to use the products they carry and not the one my dog has done well on for 6 years. In this case it's heart worm meds. They pretty much gave me no choice but to buy one of the two they carry which is of course much more expensive. So I finally said we would try it. When I gave it to him as prescribed by the vet, he vomited it and all of his dinner up an hour later. Now they are giving me the runaround about a refund and will only give me credit towards other services or meds. They want us to try the other med they carry and if he can't take that then they will order the one I asked for in the first place. I was not impressed at all with the doctor he saw, she is very young and just rubbed me the wrong way. I felt like I was being talked down to the whole time. Also when I asked them to give me a prescription so I could get his meds at Target, (who I know carries his usual stuff) the office girl went into this long lecture as to why I should not get any pet medications from Target. "Target doesn't get pet meds from the manufacturer, they get left overs that someone else couldn't sell. We don't know if they were stored in the right conditions, yada yada yada, blah blah blah." This was our first time at this vet after moving to Peoria last summer. We had been taking our other dog to another vet in town who I liked but their clinic is so much bigger and is also farther away from our house. No matter, we WILL be going to Meadowbrook from now on. Not happy with ALL PETS at all. Don't go there!

But once I understood it was because Dr. Burmeister gave "his patients" the time they needed and took the time to answer all my questions when it was my turn, I was completely fine with it. I actually came away with an even deeper appreciation and love for my birds. 5 stars plus!!!

The staff is very personal. For the most part I think my animals enjoy their visits, except the cats, I don't think they really like anything.

I've been taking my dogs to All Pets ever since I moved back to the area 9 years ago. Every veterinarian there, as well as all the other staff members, have been wonderful throughout the years.

Love them. They are very caring and take great care of my birds. When one conure became ill on a Sunday and I needed a Dr Now! Sadly, no one was available at Tri-County (after hours vet) and they informed me they had no Dr to contact. Dr Burmeister was out of town. I drove to Uninversity of Illinois. All Pets worked wonderfully with U of I to try to save my baby. Alas, it did not happen. (She was a rescue and I'm thinking she may have been older than I was told when I got her and therefore unable to fight this illness.) But they were wonderful and when she needed something that was not available in Peo they let me know and back to U of I. They corresponded with them and me the whole time she was in this tandem care. I have only seen loving care to both owners and patients.

The first time I took my puppy there, they cut his quick. He screamed out in pain and would never let you touch his paws for the rest of his life. Doctor visits were a painful experience. The doctor would get several other workers and all hold down my dog and put a muzzle on him just to do the exam. After researching online how to make visits better, I read that the dog acts that way because they are trying to protect the owner. When I suggested I leave the room for the exam, they looked at me like I was crazy. I did so anyway and the problems were gone after that. I would think the doctor should have known this from the beginning. I now to go Prospect Animal Clinic and they are much better and more knowledgeable with my pets.

The staff at All Pets and my visits there are some of the best I've had at a vet over the years. I have never met a staff as compassionate and understanding as those at All Pets; they took care of my cat like he was their own while he was hospitalized there. They all went above and beyond to make sure my cat and I had the best experience; from giving me time each day to visit to spending time with my cat when I couldn't be there, I knew my cat was as happy as he could be in their care. We were especially lucky to have Dr. Dave as our vet. He was very communicative and made sure I felt comfortable with the care and treatment plan for my cat during the entire week of hospitalization. He was honest and straightforward and patiently answered all my questions (even when I asked the same ones a few times!) I can't say enough about how amazing All Pets is and how lucky my cats are to have them as their vet!

I had a great experience here! The staff was friendly, they were able to see my Zorro within just a few hours of calling (he was having some leg pain and limping so it was somewhat urgent), the vet (Dr. Borgeson) spent a good 30 minutes in the room with us and answered all of my questions. She did not rush me at all and took the time to get to know my little one. Also, their prices were incredibly reasonable, and they gave me all of the instructions I needed for follow up as well as a pamplet for the medication Zorro went home on. I had an incredible experience here and will be making this our regular vet for both our boxer shepherd and our chihuahua,

I have been a pet owner for over 20 years, and I have been to many vets over that time. I live one hour from All Pets, and it is well worth the drive.
I loved my last vet, but when I tried to get an emergency appointment because my dog couldn't even get up, they said they couldn't see her for 4 days. I called All Pets, because I knew one of the staff, and they got me in an hour later. Dr. Burmeister spent the entire afternoon with us. After a series of laser therapy treatments, she acts like a puppy again.
I never felt pressured to buy anything,, including the food we now have her on. When I asked to buy a different heartworm med, because she threw up the other one she was on, I was told I could get a refund for the one that made her sick.
They also never pressured me to run tests or to take x-rays. They give you options and let you decide how aggressively you want to pursue treatment.
From the vets to the office staff to the techs, I have had nothing but vey positive experiences and plan to bring my exotics and dogs and cats there in the future.

Like the previous reviewer I feel like I'm being forced to use the products they carry and not the one my dog has done well on for 6 years. In this case it's heart worm meds. They pretty much gave me no choice but to buy one of the two they carry which is of course much more expensive. So I finally said we would try it. When I gave it to him as prescribed by the vet, he vomited it and all of his dinner up an hour later. Now they are giving me the runaround about a refund and will only give me credit towards other services or meds. They want us to try the other med they carry and if he can't take that then they will order the one I asked for in the first place. I was not impressed at all with the doctor he saw, she is very young and just rubbed me the wrong way. I felt like I was being talked down to the whole time. Also when I asked them to give me a prescription so I could get his meds at Target, (who I know carries his usual stuff) the office girl went into this long lecture as to why I should not get any pet medications from Target. "Target doesn't get pet meds from the manufacturer, they get left overs that someone else couldn't sell. We don't know if they were stored in the right conditions, yada yada yada, blah blah blah." This was our first time at this vet after moving to Peoria last summer. We had been taking our other dog to another vet in town who I liked but their clinic is so much bigger and is also farther away from our house. No matter, we WILL be going to Meadowbrook from now on. Not happy with ALL PETS at all. Don't go there!
