Dr. Brand and her staff are absolutely wonderful! The office is so beautiful and meticulously clean, and the exam rooms are spacious and welcoming! Lyn, Julie, and Mindy were amazing and caring, very friendly, and our new puppy loved them. Dr. Brand did a great exam, voiced her concerns, and sent us home with the appropriate medications, including our monthly heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. The prices are honestly great, and a lot more reasonable than most other clinics we have been to. We're looking forward to our Remy boy growing up with the Richmond staff, and we're confident that he will get top of the line care, and live a long, healthy life!

It's never easy to switch doctors for yourself, let alone switching doctors for your fur family, but after a long search and a very HIGH recommendation, we took the plunge and made an appt. We could not be any happier with our experience and the care they took in seeing our dogs. Our tech, Tina, was amazing! Loved on our pups as if they were her own. Dr Fox was very thourough and very helpful in some specialized needs we have for one of our dogs. We feel thankful to have such a kind and caring veternarian team right in our community!

Vet Tech Tina was very knowledgeable and passionate about the bread, and Dr. Brand was compassionate, and very hands on with her exam. Seems like they truly care about the wellness of your animal!

I received a message 2 weeks later about some negative test results and when I called back, I got to talk with Dr. Fox right away - super friendly! It was cute to hear someone singing to the music playing in the back and they have a parrot (or some chatty bird) that must keep them and the overnight visitors entertained (LOL). I can't say enough good things about Dr. Brand and her staff. Since the first visit they were always very caring and understanding. I lost my thirteen year old basset to cancer this morning and they went to great lengths to keep Lilly comfortable and gave me all the time I needed to grieve. Definitely glad I found them and will continue to bring my other dog and other fur children there.

Three years ago I started taking my cats to Dr Brand at Richmond Veterinary Clinic for acupuncture. My Timmy had severe arthritis for a 10 year old cat. He is now 13 and insists on taking his meals on the kitchen counter jumping up and down with no apparent discomfort. Dr Brand and everyone at the clinic treat their clients with compassion and respect. Everyone is caring, friendly, postive and professional. Said we should be grateful she even offered to do it because she has a family at home. Like we where an inconvenience to her day. Well 9 1/2 hours later my poor baby died from toxic shock and they could of saved her life. Worst vet ever.. all they cared about was $$.. this damn country is in shambles because people like them have no true compassion for a loved ones life. My baby would still be here if they would of just had some compassion. Only had to wait till monday for the money but my baby only had hours to live. Karma will come around shame on you all.

This pat weekend we unfortunately had to put him to sleep. The care, understanding and patience we received was outstanding. Dr. Brand is one of the most compassionate Vet I've ever had in my experience of owning animals. I also take dogs to other vets with a rescue and can easily compare the difference.She has taken my dog, Chewie under her wing as he's a senior boy now and she also does acupuncture and holistic as well if you choose. Upon moving to the area I was clueless to a vet. I also have to say my other dog was misdiagnosed at my old vet! Dr. Brand ran complete and conclusive tests and diagnosed him with a collapsed trachea. Absolutely opposite of the other vet who diagnosed him with a liver shunt. Years of unnecessary meds, not to mention THE WRONG ONES! I love Richmond Veterinary Clinic!

Dr. Brand and her staff are some of the kindest, most caring and compassionate people I have ever met. They went so far above and beyond, to help us with our cat smokey, in ways that no other animal clinic would have. They truly care for the pets and the people who own them. The clinic is a bit of a drive from where we live, but I will not ever take my pets anywhere else again. I'm so thankful to have become in touch with Dr. Brand and her clinic, and I don't feel I could ever thank them enough for the ways they helped us!

Because all of you really care about my kids. I am one of those holistic fanatics and even though a couple of you are more "traditional", you still respect my values and are willing to listen to what i say and work with me if it is a viable option.
Because you do respect my beliefs, i trust you when you say or will have to say one day, Linda, those methods aren't enough or aren't working, we need to go traditional.
I give 5 stars because you take the time to teach me what i need to know. When i ask about tests that might be needed, you tell me that at this point in time it is not warranted so save your money.
I do not hesitate to recommend you because i have come to trust you.

We have been going to Richmond Veterinary Clinic for many years now. We love Dr. Kristin Brand & staff! I trust Dr. Brand completely with my dogs and she is always honest with me about everything that is going on. Dr. Brand is great with our dogs & she has a holistic approach of using quality supplements & acupuncture to help heal. Our 2 Golden retrievers got cancer a year apart; Dr. Brand helped us with everything and what we should do and what to expect. We have trusted her with doing acupuncture on our dog, also helping us deal with the process of putting our Golden retrievers down, and recently helped us with our rescue dog Finnley deal with his allergies. Dr. Brand and staff have always been so caring & considerate. I trust them with my furry babies & I highly recommend them!

Richmond Veterinary Clinic gets 5 stars for compassion and care. I called them with a very unique, serious need and they were incredibly accommodating. They didn't know me at all and they went above and beyond to meet my needs. They squeezed my appointment into their busy schedule and were thoughtful and patient in the care they gave my very ill dog. From the receptionist, to the technician, to the doctor, all were kind and gentle in their treatment. I have very high standards when it comes to caring for my furry family members and Richmond Veterinary Clinic exceeded all of my expectations.

My wife just left this clinic, and I am shocked at the dishonesty. While I am all for doing what is best for my pet, I was extremely shocked why presented with the bill. The vet then said "I did what I felt was best for the dog", well it would have been very nice if you would have told me what you were planning to do before hand. The vet took my dog back for an x-ray (note: ONE x-ray was mentioned to us as all that was happening.) Turns out the vet took 5 different x-rays, and charged us for each one..... Only to return and say that she couldn't find anything wrong. How very nice of them to pigeon hole my wife into these costs without disclosing before hand what exactly was being done, then to come back and say they couldn't find anything wrong. I am sure that "nothing" will remain an issue, and we will return for more visits and "treatment".
I think we will be searching for a more honest vet. one who cares about the owners pets and not about the money they can gouge the owners for.

Dr. Pat is an very experienced and knowlegeable practitioner, who blends traditional veterinary medicine with alternative medicine, providing a wholistic approach. He provides a wealth of medical information balanced with a common sense perspective, to help pet parents make decisions about their pet's needs. We have been taking our pets to this vet clinic for over 8 years. We recieved this recommendation from our neighbor and couldn't be happier! We feel like we are among friends when we are at the Richmond Vet Clinic. The care they take with our pets (cat and dogs) is amazing! We have been treated with respect and patience whenever we have had questions or concerns. One of the best parts is our pet recieves a ""report card"" at eah visit which helps us know how our pet is doing. We have recommended Richmond Vet Clinic to family and friends. We are so fortunate to be under the care of Dr. Brand and the staff at Richmond Veterinary Clinic. The care we receive for our two dogs, one of whom has special medical needs, is amazing. Dr. Brand is thoughtful, informative, sympathetic, and kind. She takes her time, conducts additional research by consulting with specialists, and follows up with us at every turn. As many animals are, our dogs were a bit wary about visiting the vet when we transfered to Dr. Brand from another clinic, but the staff is so gentle and kind that they do not mind our appointments as much as before. I guess the love and cookies have won them over! We are truly thankful for the staff at Richmond Veterinary Clinic and are so happy to have found such wonderful care. We have been going to Dr. Pat for over 2 years now with our 2 Aussie Lab Mix Rescue Dogs. The staff is wonderful and they show their hearts with the care they give our two boys. But I have to say that Dr. Pat is what I term as an Animals Angel , the care that he gives is personal - not just another person/animal off the street - he truly cares and gives tender loving care each & every time we visit. Our two boys - Frisco & Zeus - are picky about who they trust , they have been wonderful with all the staff at Richmond Clinic , I note that as they can tell when they are truly cared for as animals have a 6th sense about people. Dr. Pat has worked hard at giving Frisco use of his leg back after an ACL injury and I am so grateful to him for that as My Boys are My Family and with Dr. Pats love & care we will have many more years together. We will forever be clients of RVC & will reccomend to anyone that needs a Vet that truly cares ! Thank You All for your great heart & love & care that you give to our Family !

I have been going to Richmond Veterinary Clinic for 11 years. They have treated my yellow lab since she was 6months old. Tess have Parvo, and as a puppy, this was very serious. They took extra special care of Tess. Most adult dogs don't survive parvo, and I was told, puppies hardly ever do. Tess made it, with the help of this clinic. After she beat the parvo, she developed numonia. This was our puppy!!! They helped her get over that, and then she stopped using her back legs. After many exrays, we had to go to the University of Madison Vet School, were they found out that the infection from the parvo settled inbetween the disc's of her spine. If it were not for the good sence of the doctors at Richmond Vet, Tess may not have lived. Every year after Tess has been to Only See This Clinic. February 7, 2011 We've been going to Dr. Pat for over 10 years. Several years ago our Sammy (long-haired Chihuahua) was suffering from a lack of mobility on his hind legs -- after several treaments with no success - he mentioned trying Acupuncture Therapy. The first thing out of my big mouth was - ""are you kidding, do I look like I just fell off a turnip truck!"" He said try it - it really can work -- and the !st treatment on me. Well it did. Sam now almont 11 years old now, runs and jumps around like a puppy. And all to Dr Pat and his wonderful and caring staff. So thanks Dr. Pat from Guy (old grumpy) and Nancy (who thinks you can walk on water.

Dr. Brand and her staff are absolutely wonderful! The office is so beautiful and meticulously clean, and the exam rooms are spacious and welcoming! Lyn, Julie, and Mindy were amazing and caring, very friendly, and our new puppy loved them. Dr. Brand did a great exam, voiced her concerns, and sent us home with the appropriate medications, including our monthly heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. The prices are honestly great, and a lot more reasonable than most other clinics we have been to. We're looking forward to our Remy boy growing up with the Richmond staff, and we're confident that he will get top of the line care, and live a long, healthy life!

It's never easy to switch doctors for yourself, let alone switching doctors for your fur family, but after a long search and a very HIGH recommendation, we took the plunge and made an appt. We could not be any happier with our experience and the care they took in seeing our dogs. Our tech, Tina, was amazing! Loved on our pups as if they were her own. Dr Fox was very thourough and very helpful in some specialized needs we have for one of our dogs. We feel thankful to have such a kind and caring veternarian team right in our community!

I received a message 2 weeks later about some negative test results and when I called back, I got to talk with Dr. Fox right away - super friendly! It was cute to hear someone singing to the music playing in the back and they have a parrot (or some chatty bird) that must keep them and the overnight visitors entertained (LOL). I can't say enough good things about Dr. Brand and her staff. Since the first visit they were always very caring and understanding. I lost my thirteen year old basset to cancer this morning and they went to great lengths to keep Lilly comfortable and gave me all the time I needed to grieve. Definitely glad I found them and will continue to bring my other dog and other fur children there.

Three years ago I started taking my cats to Dr Brand at Richmond Veterinary Clinic for acupuncture. My Timmy had severe arthritis for a 10 year old cat. He is now 13 and insists on taking his meals on the kitchen counter jumping up and down with no apparent discomfort. Dr Brand and everyone at the clinic treat their clients with compassion and respect. Everyone is caring, friendly, postive and professional. In addition to a holistic approach to my cats' care I was looking fo...r a caring practice not solely a business. I found all of this at Richmond Veterinary Clinic. Worst doctor ever! Brought our family dog of 6 years old had an infection in her uterus. Dr refused to do sugery because we couldn't pay 1000.00 right on the spot. Said we should be grateful she even offered to do it because she has a family at home. Like we where an inconvenience to her day. Well 9 1/2 hours later my poor baby died from toxic shock and they could of saved her life. Worst vet ever.. all they cared about was $$.. this damn country is in shambles because people like them have no true compassion for a loved ones life. My baby would still be here if they would of just had some compassion. Only had to wait till monday for the money but my baby only had hours to live. Karma will come around shame on you all.

This pat weekend we unfortunately had to put him to sleep. The care, understanding and patience we received was outstanding. I can't thank Dr. Brand her nurse and staff enough for making our experience the best it could be. There compassion was more than we ever expected.

I was thoroughly counseled regarding the treatment options and costs. I had a great vet and will be transferring all 6 of my pets to this great group of people!

Dr. Brand is one of the most compassionate Vet I've ever had in my experience of owning animals. I also take dogs to other vets with a rescue and can easily compare the difference.She has taken my dog, Chewie under her wing as he's a senior boy now and she also does acupuncture and holistic as well if you choose. Upon moving to the area I was clueless to a vet. I also have to say my other dog was misdiagnosed at my old vet! Dr. Brand ran complete and conclusive tests and diagnosed him with a collapsed trachea. Absolutely opposite of the other vet who diagnosed him with a liver shunt. Years of unnecessary meds, not to mention THE WRONG ONES! I love Richmond Veterinary Clinic!

Dr. Brand and her staff are some of the kindest, most caring and compassionate people I have ever met. They went so far above and beyond, to help us with our cat smokey, in ways that no other animal clinic would have. They truly care for the pets and the people who own them. The clinic is a bit of a drive from where we live, but I will not ever take my pets anywhere else again. I'm so thankful to have become in touch with Dr. Brand and her clinic, and I don't feel I could ever thank them enough for the ways they helped us!

Because all of you really care about my kids. I am one of those holistic fanatics and even though a couple of you are more "traditional", you still respect my values and are willing to listen to what i say and work with me if it is a viable option.
Because you do respect my beliefs, i trust you when you say or will have to say one day, Linda, those methods aren't enough or aren't working, we need to go traditional.
I give 5 stars because you take the time to teach me what i need to know. When i ask about tests that might be needed, you tell me that at this point in time it is not warranted so save your money.
I do not hesitate to recommend you because i have come to trust you.

Dr. Brand is great with our dogs & she has a holistic approach of using quality supplements & acupuncture to help heal. Our 2 Golden retrievers got cancer a year apart; Dr. Brand helped us with everything and what we should do and what to expect. We have trusted her with doing acupuncture on our dog, also helping us deal with the process of putting our Golden retrievers down, and recently helped us with our rescue dog Finnley deal with his allergies. Dr. Brand and staff have always been so caring & considerate. I trust them with my furry babies & I highly recommend them!

Both of my dogs needed surgery and my experiences were so positive. The care was excellent and the surgeries were successful. The doctor was outstanding (to me and my dogs) and the staff was wonderful. We all left both times with a positive experience. I feel I am so fortunate to have such caring veterinarian clinic. I recommend them with five stars!!

Richmond Veterinary Clinic gets 5 stars for compassion and care. I called them with a very unique, serious need and they were incredibly accommodating. They didn't know me at all and they went above and beyond to meet my needs. They squeezed my appointment into their busy schedule and were thoughtful and patient in the care they gave my very ill dog. From the receptionist, to the technician, to the doctor, all were kind and gentle in their treatment. I have very high standards when it comes to caring for my furry family members and Richmond Veterinary Clinic exceeded all of my expectations.

My wife just left this clinic, and I am shocked at the dishonesty. While I am all for doing what is best for my pet, I was extremely shocked why presented with the bill. The vet then said "I did what I felt was best for the dog", well it would have been very nice if you would have told me what you were planning to do before hand. The vet took my dog back for an x-ray (note: ONE x-ray was mentioned to us as all that was happening.) Turns out the vet took 5 different x-rays, and charged us for each one..... Only to return and say that she couldn't find anything wrong. How very nice of them to pigeon hole my wife into these costs without disclosing before hand what exactly was being done, then to come back and say they couldn't find anything wrong. I am sure that "nothing" will remain an issue, and we will return for more visits and "treatment".
I think we will be searching for a more honest vet. one who cares about the owners pets and not about the money they can gouge the owners for.
Shame on you....

We recently had to put our Golden Retriever down. I used to take him to another vet in the area and they were always very assembly line feeling. When we came to richmond it was as a new client. they were instantly friendly and had compassion like I had never experienced from a vet. We will be bringing our other animals here from now on. All of the staff that I communicated with were pleasant and helpful. Dr. Brand took her time and listened, as well as asked questions to come up with a plan for my collie. AND, I was pleasantly surprised by the cost of the visit. Very reasonable, in my opinion.

I now have 2 dogs. You wont find a more caring vet than Dr. Hourigan. If you love your pets like I do, bring them here. His whole staff and other vets are always very polite and informative.

They make every effort to accomodate any unexpected urgent office visit, and show genuine care and concern for their animal patients and pet ""parents"". Dr. Pat is an very experienced and knowlegeable practitioner, who blends traditional veterinary medicine with alternative medicine, providing a wholistic approach. He provides a wealth of medical information balanced with a common sense perspective, to help pet parents make decisions about their pet's needs. We have been taking our pets to this vet clinic for over 8 years. We recieved this recommendation from our neighbor and couldn't be happier! We feel like we are among friends when we are at the Richmond Vet Clinic. The care they take with our pets (cat and dogs) is amazing! We have been treated with respect and patience whenever we have had questions or concerns. One of the best parts is our pet recieves a ""report card"" at eah visit which helps us know how our pet is doing. We have recommended Richmond Vet Clinic to family and friends. As long as we live in this area, we will never go anywhere else!

We are so fortunate to be under the care of Dr. Brand and the staff at Richmond Veterinary Clinic. The care we receive for our two dogs, one of whom has special medical needs, is amazing. Dr. Brand is thoughtful, informative, sympathetic, and kind. She takes her time, conducts additional research by consulting with specialists, and follows up with us at every turn. As many animals are, our dogs were a bit wary about visiting the vet when we transfered to Dr. Brand from another clinic, but the staff is so gentle and kind that they do not mind our appointments as much as before. I guess the love and cookies have won them over! We are truly thankful for the staff at Richmond Veterinary Clinic and are so happy to have found such wonderful care. We have been going to Dr. Pat for over 2 years now with our 2 Aussie Lab Mix Rescue Dogs. The staff is wonderful and they show their hearts with the care they give our two boys. But I have to say that Dr. Pat is what I term as an Animals Angel , the care that he gives is personal - not just another person/animal off the street - he truly cares and gives tender loving care each & every time we visit. Our two boys - Frisco & Zeus - are picky about who they trust , they have been wonderful with all the staff at Richmond Clinic , I note that as they can tell when they are truly cared for as animals have a 6th sense about people. Dr. Pat has worked hard at giving Frisco use of his leg back after an ACL injury and I am so grateful to him for that as My Boys are My Family and with Dr. Pats love & care we will have many more years together. We will forever be clients of RVC & will reccomend to anyone that needs a Vet that truly cares ! Thank You All for your great heart & love & care that you give to our Family !

I have been going to Richmond Veterinary Clinic for 11 years. They have treated my yellow lab since she was 6months old. Tess have Parvo, and as a puppy, this was very serious. They took extra special care of Tess. Most adult dogs don't survive parvo, and I was told, puppies hardly ever do. Tess made it, with the help of this clinic. After she beat the parvo, she developed numonia. This was our puppy!!! They helped her get over that, and then she stopped using her back legs. After many exrays, we had to go to the University of Madison Vet School, were they found out that the infection from the parvo settled inbetween the disc's of her spine. If it were not for the good sence of the doctors at Richmond Vet, Tess may not have lived. Every year after Tess has been to Only See This Clinic. February 7, 2011 We've been going to Dr. Pat for over 10 years. Several years ago our Sammy (long-haired Chihuahua) was suffering from a lack of mobility on his hind legs -- after several treaments with no success - he mentioned trying Acupuncture Therapy. The first thing out of my big mouth was - ""are you kidding, do I look like I just fell off a turnip truck!"" He said try it - it really can work -- and the !st treatment on me. Well it did. Sam now almont 11 years old now, runs and jumps around like a puppy. And all to Dr Pat and his wonderful and caring staff. So thanks Dr. Pat from Guy (old grumpy) and Nancy (who thinks you can walk on water.
