I took my dog to Rock Island Animal Hospital because she'd not been herself for nearly a week. I'd looked up her symptoms on WebMD Pets and, convinced she was dying, apprehensively drove her down the hill.They were pretty good. Most, if not all, appointments at Rock Island Animal Hospital are walk-in, which was nice for us since we're from out of town and don't have a regular veterinarian here. We waited about 30 minutes to be seen. The vet tech employed tone-of-voice and body language to guilt trip me for not bringing my dog in sooner. The veterinarian talked to me a lot, though she didn't work very hard to set my dog at ease in the way her regular vet does. After a quick physical exam, the vet made a diagnosis and suggested tests. 20 minutes later, we were on our way. Rock Island Animal Hospital was useful in the same way that Urgent Care is useful when you need a couple of stitches or something else comes up unexpectedly. After some reflection, however, I feel like the services rendered were somewhat impersonal and would not return for regular care. Read Less
