As much as I love Dr. Larson at North Main Animal Hospital, it breaks my heart to have to give such low stars to this practice.   I've had two occasions where I've had to call the vet for emergent care for my animals.  Both times, it happened to be about an hour to an hour and a half before the office was closing and both times, the receptionist I spoke with would not allow me to bring my pet in.   This last time which was just this past Friday (04/13/12), the gal who answered told me they could not see the senior dog I had just adopted. I told her how sick the dog seemed to be and what should I do and she advised me to go to another vet.  Can you believe this?  I've been a client of theirs for the past six years and this is how I was treated.  The first time, I let it slide, but to happen again is unacceptable.   Sadly, as much as I love Dr. Larson, I cannot get past these folks who answer the phone. :( Read Less
