I have been going to GRAH for almost 21 years now. From small concerns and annual vaccines to ER visits, the vets and techs have always listened, been respectful of my questions and to my pets. My first visit was more if an interview for them - my pets are family, not just a dog or cat, and I feel they truly understand that. They are also a 24 hr ER if needed, and by using them as my regular vet, if the need arose where emergency services were required, and it has - they have ALL the history of my pet at their fingertips. Having large breed dogs (Doberman, Cane Corso) I also am a firm believer that it is my responsibility to do my best in setting up the vets, techs and my dogs for success when they visit. I bring their favorite treats so the dogs get a goody, first thing, from the vet & tech. With one of my Corso's (who doesn't care to be there - she just wants to leave), I hold her head (or assist with whatever the vet needs my dog to do to assess her) because my girl is more cooperative if it's me requesting her to stand/sit/stay for the vet to do his/her job. I do google stuff regarding my pets, but knowing I wasn't the one who went to vet school - I do it to ask (hopefully) more informed questions about a vaccine or symptom I see to discuss it. Every vet there that I have worked with has respectfully gone through Pro's and Con's (the con's are usually my question base) so I have a better understanding of the whole picture. I truly appreciate that about the vets at GRAH. Thank You! I've heard others remark that GRAH costs more than other places, true sometimes, I've been to other vet clinics (w/ family or friends and their pets) who cost more and ones who charge less. I stay with GRAH because of the quality of service and the fabulous relationships and the trust built over time. There have been times where finances were tight and vaccines were coming due, or a dental cleaning was needed, so I would pre-pay and send funds a few months before my visit - making it easier on my monthly pocketbook. GRAH would call and let me know they received a payment, but I didn't owe any money and I would simply share I knew I would be in for X soon and that I was pre-paying for some of it to build a credit with them. (Just sharing how that can be helpful if others need to do the same). Through the good, the sad, and the unexpected visits, I have always felt that the care my pets received was truly the best available.Read Less
