We had our appt at Prairie Haven In Sherman. Bentley had his teeth cleaned plus four extractions. We were very pleased with the care received by him. From the time we entered and was greeted by a friendly office person to the explanation of what they planned todo to the calls we received during and after his procedure to the way the staff treated (and talked to Bentley) to our meeting before taking him home. We have had all 8 of our dogs there now ! Ellie is our lhasa and she went in for being pregnant with puppies. She went back with her six puppies for a post check up. Casper was our rescue Morkie and was in very bad shape when we took him there and while we weren't sure he would make it they fixed him up and I am happy to say that they are all doing great. We are more than pleased to have them here in sherman and will be our pets doctors for a long time to come. Read Less

We take all our furry family here. Every person we have met is so nice and speaks to you respectfully and uses words that are understandable ( not jargon). We have taken our 4 year old cat, our (2) 10 year old littermate senior dogs, and our newest addition, a 9 week old puppy, here and been pleased with every visit. The vets have even been willing to do part of an exam with my cat in my arms, because that is what made her comfortable. Great people and a great place to take your animals! The fact that it is in Sherman, when I live 1.5 miles away ( instead of 10 miles into Springfield), is a very pleasant bonus!!! Read Less

We are so grateful to the whole staff at Prairiehaven. Our little havenese was attacked by a large dog that came into our yard and he had life threatening injuries to his lungs and body. We didn't think he was going to make it to a vet. Fortunately we made it to Prairiehaven and they took him right back and within minutes Dr. George had him in surgery to try and repaire the damage and thankfully he was able to save him. Bandit was critical for a few days and with all the care and dedication he received from Dr George,Dr Erika and Dr, Bill. And all the techs he encountered he is almost back to normal. Each and every Dr.and staff member who cared for him was so caring,kind,reassuring and professional we knew he was getting the best care we could ask for. we have transferred both of our dogs records to Prairiehaven because I feel we couldn't Get this care and treatment anywhere else. We called with an emergency situation that our vet was unavailable to handle. Dr. Bill had us bring Hilltyn right in and treated her over his lunch hour. Everyone in the office was very friendly, professional & treated us like long time friends, not just a number. We were so thankful that Prairiehaven was able to make our 17yr old Husky comfortable as she spent her last moments there. It still hurts that she's gone, but we know she was in good hands. The best customer service, compassionate staff, very knowledgeable and informative every step of treatment. Duke was seen by Dr. Bill, Dr. Gretchen and Dr. George. He was a sick guy. His care, overnight stay, and treatment were top notch. The Dr's collaborated, called each other and even drove to meet and discuss lab results to make sure Duke received the best treatment and outcome. After Duke was released, I received phone calls from the staff and the Dr's. These weren't just calls to call. They were all wanting to check up on Duke like he was their own dog.. Took Pauli in for his annual checkup on Saturday, April 2. We met Dr. Bill and staff ...and they were wonderful. My many questions were answered and Pauli loved the treats from his new friends! Little did I know I'd be taking Lacy in on Monday, April 4....she was one sick golden. Dr. George took care of Lacy, explained in detail what was going on with her and how we were going to proceed. They made 2 follow-up phone calls on Tuesday and Thursday to check on Lacy....how nice! Lacy's getting back to her old self and I'm thankful how close the clinic is and how caring and thorough Dr. Bill and Dr. George are, as well as their staff. I highly recommend them! Read Less

I brought my almost 12 year old beagle, Lucy, in today due to various health concerns and her (now previous) vet not knowing what to do next. Unfortunately she was misdiagnosed by the previous vet, even though the blood results were clear & conclusive. :( The staff was all very friendly and took time to get to know Lucy and her ailments. Dr. Bill spent an hour & a half talking to me and really getting to know Lucy and all of the issues she has been having. The only thing that helped my intense anger at the previous vet's misdiagnosis was the peace of mind & relief I felt knowing we now have a plan for Lucy and she is finally being cared for properly.
