Nobody ignores anybody here. This is a great place to bring your pet. They are very busy because he is a great Dr with great staff, Dah. I want somebody who is busy dummy. I just recently took our cat there and I'm still days later upset about the service. If I could give zero stars I would. Our first cat I took there because a family friend recommended this doctor. Everything was fine our cat got his work done and we were on our way. This time with our second cat not so much. About a year later now we got our second one in to have the same work done. When we got him back he was sitting in his carrier full of pee!!! It was like the doctor didn't take care of him at all and let him to sit in his pee filled carrier overnight. So you can imagine my frustration because 1. That cage we had borrowed from someone else. 2. Our cat was treated so inhumanely. 3. Our car now smells like pee and we are trying to get rid of it. And finally I'm just so disappointed because how could a person treat animals like that. Especially if he comes so highly recommended by others. Read Less

Dr. Chaudhry and the whole staff are wonderful. We have been taken all are babies to Dr. C for 15 years and I WOULD NOT go anywhere else!!!! I love their compassion for their job to care for the babies then worry about the fees. My Brody (Aussie) had got a tumor on his face (non cancerous) and he ripped it open - took him in and Dr. C did an emergency surgery himself on my baby. The price was unbelievably lower then I thought it would be. Plus Dr. C. bathed him, clipped his nails, and told me how to care for the incision. At the time of the surgery Brody was 14 years old and we had him for 3 more happy years with him until we had to take him in to be put to sleep from old age. Our Brody was 17 years old and it was the hardest thing we had to do but poor Brody couldn't walk anymore. The comfort I got from Dr. C and the staff was wonderful and even got a big hug from Dr. C.. A few days later we received a sympathy card in the mail from Dr. C. himself. I will HIGHLY recommend Beloit Animal Hospital!!!!! Read Less

Beware do not bring your beloved pet to this man. Dr. Chandray is a quack or he's just plain lazy and cheap.I would give him a minus star rating if there was one, he doesn't deserve one star but I had to give him that just to leave the review..I  brought my older cat in for various health issues, and All he did was roughly rub my cats spine declaring my cat has arthritis and an upset stomach, all with no medical tests mind you and prescribed some antibiotics and sold me some high calorie cat food, all the while calling me mommy. One week later the cat is back for recheck and he says the same exact thing. I finish the course of medication but the cat never gets better, gets sicker and eventually dies. I thought he was a veterinarian, not a freaking crystal ball reader. I could have diagnosed my cat better. Had to take my cat to another vet to be put to sleep. Told that vet without naming names my cat was seen by another vet in the area and he immediately knew who I was talking about, that's how bad Dr Chandrays reputation is. Just steer clear of this man and find a more reputable Veterinarian even if you have to pay more. The man needs to retire. Read Less

Love this place, we have been taking our animals here for 20 years. I can understand how some may think they can be rude, they have their busy days where they aren't as cordial as other days. Doc's bed side manner also depends on the day, some days he doesn't have time to make small talk, but he is knowledgeable and has always helped/diagnosed our animals heath issues accurately. He won't be baby talking to your animals or be your best friend, he does his job and does it well, isn't that what's most important? He can be compassionate, we have put 2 animals to sleep and he was very kind through the months that led up to the decision. When it was time, he respected our situation and was professional, but don't expect him to cry with you or be your grief counselor. He has always been there for my animals. Even came to my house, our old dog had trouble getting in and out of the car. He told me not to put him through that he would come to him. Let us spend as much time with our dog even call other family members in to say good, holding up a room on a busy Sat morning when she needed to be put down. His language barrier might at times make him seem rude but he's not. Read Less

I'd give 0 stars if I could!  I've used this vet because I'm low income.   I've had ill cats, neutered a cat,  and have had to put 2 down now.  I took my 20 year old cat to be put down...she didn't like being there, as most animals don't,  and in order to get her out of her carrier,  the dr dumped her onto to the cement floor from table high.   She had no claws and was so old,  she did NOT land on her feet...she landed with a THUD!   She didn't move to get up after this...she just laid on her side as she had fell.  Dr had given me the spiel about "if she were to bite anyone..."   I understood that...  No reason to dump her out from so damn high onto the cement floor. After the 1 st shot he gave her, she fell asleep in my arms... she'd been so sick I felt she had left her body... I placed her in the box we had brought for her.  Dr walked in,  said her heart was still beating and that she was still alive and took her out of the box, out of the room, to administer the final shot.  Highly unprofessional and demeaming to my baby and myself!!  I was very traumatized, my friend who went with was upset and I am so saddened by how my baby was treated during her last minutes on this Earth.  I will never take another animal there, nor will I recommend this vet to anyone! We always took our animals here for years.  We recently took our beagle here because she'd been limping a while.  He said it was something to do with a muscle in her shoulder, this was after he did a rough physical exam (I have no problems with physical exams, but he was very rough.) He gave us some pain pills and sent us home.  Well, after several days of the pain pills, she didn't seem to be getting any better, so we went to another vet for a second opinion.  They did an X-ray there (look at that, actually doing something that makes sense.) And found out that she had 2 brakes in her leg.  Will never be going back here. Read Less

This is the best vet I've ever been to in over 20 years of owning dogs and cats. Dr. Chandray not only cares about the well being of the animals, but also about the people who go to him. He always finds time to fit you in for appointments and is very reasonably priced. He is a no nonsense kind of guy who let's you know what he thinks. I really believe that he is his business for the animals and people, not the money. He doesn't try to talk you into expensive tests, procedures and unnecessary medications like so many other vets. Everyone is mommy &daddy, he tries his best to help ensure that you understand what's going on with the situation, if he can't the girls in the clinic do their best! DO NOT RECOMMEND. I was here twice with my cat because I heard he was a "reasonably priced" vet. What he cuts in price he also cuts in service, patient care, and sanitation. Both times he was rough with my cat, and went over a sore spot in her back to "prove" she had said sore spot, making her extremely uncomfortable and putting her in great amounts of pain. He had no veterinarian assistant, and had me hold her down while he performed a very painful procedure that I was later told was usually done while the pet is sedated. My cat was obviously in pain at several points, to which he had no sympathy or care, instead trying to rush us out to get to his next patient. After further research and word-of-mouth, I've learned that he is unsterile and untrustworthy. Even without any other opinions, I would NEVER go back, solely based on how rough and borderline mean he was to my cat. I left close to tears, and my poor cat was in pain and hid the rest of the day. I brought in our resued cat on 5/18 to deworm.he checked her belly and felt it,and listened to her belly.after we left,by monday her belly was very hard and she was tired.i called to check if this was ok,and he said she's constipated even after i said she is going to the bathroom.well its a week later,and now we have 2 kittens(1 died). I know worms and pregnancy are very similar symptons,but how can you miss that,ecspecially after you listen and check her belly?very dishearted about the dr,he's nice and cares but thats a big oversight.as well as before this cat,i had a male that sprayed because 1 testicle dropped later,and his resolve to make the spaying stop was to lock the cat up for 2 weeks and this behavior would stop.no one would ever suggest that... I should have written this long ago. He is very knowledgeble, very good with the animals and always so nice to our family. When another animal damaged our cat's eye, it was a weekend and he called us back immediatly. He operated her eye and she is fine now. When our other cat had poisened himself he said I could take him to an emergency hospital for animals but I prefered his care. He is a no nonesense Dr. he gives you the options and goes with what you want. He gave the cat a 50/50 chance, he kept him overnight and our cat is still alive that was about 2 yrs ago. Also his prices are not outrageous though he is very good and sure could ask for it, and that is a blessing for us. All I can say is that we rather drive longer to see him than go somewhere locally. I have gone thru several vets over my years of pet ownership, but ever since I have found Dr. Chaudry I would never recommend another. Like the other person posting here, I agree they treat you like family.. they do. Dr. Chaudry has always been available for my pets emergencies, even when one of my dogs was run over by a car late at night he met us at the office and stayed with her all night and pulled her thru.
