The doctor at this hospital did not want to become more knowledgeable about the Australian shepherd breed , When I tried to explain to him that the dogs are allergic to Certain medications he promptly replied O no that's just in the sheltie breed. I tried to explain to him that he was Not willing to listen to me because of this I will never go back there again even if my treatments are free why drive an hour out of my way when I can go 10 minutes down the road to abet yes I'd have to pay for it but it's well worth it my dog has insurance anyway Read Less

Amazing staff and facility. We had to put our 20 year old cat Henry to sleep and they made the difficult process so humane. Dr Latif was amazing and understood the emotional state our family was in saying goodbye to our beloved Henry. He was treated with respect and kindness like I would have never imagined. Amazing! Finally, a place where our cats feel comfortable and we feel great about the attention and service to our cats. Dr. Chaudary is fantastic! He was relatable, attentive to our cats' needs and was incredibly easy to talk to. Our cats Stella and Roxy have seen several other vets, and this is the first time we are finally comfortable with the recommendations and attention they received. I brought my very sick kitty in yesterday. I did not make an appointment but they still fit me in to there very busy schedule which was a plus. Doctor Rana was very thorough and caring with diagnosing my poor cat's illness. He took extra steps to ensure that she would get well and I was very impressed with this office visit overall. The cost was reasonable and I would definitely recommend animal clinic of spring grove to my all my friends and family. They did a great job taking care of my little fur baby who I love very Dearly. We have been to this clinic several times and have finally had enough. Today we were the 3rd appointment of the day, arived 5 min early, and waited over a half hour into our appointment time before leaving. We never saw the vet in the 40 min we were there, and when we asked how much longer the wait would be (after waiting for 20 min at this point) we were told in not so polite terms to shut up and sit down. The staff is incompetent, couldn't even figure out my shih tzu from my bichon. Yes it's a cheaper vet practice, but believe me you are getting exactly what you pay for: nothing. Read Less

Horrible. Dr gave wrong dosage to my puppy. Didn't even know the proper weight of my puppy even after they weighed her. He barely examined my puppy too. The staff is very stand off ish as well. Especially on the phone. Never going here again. Read Less

Hands down, they are always there for us. The staff takes the time to listen and find the answers to questions, and the vets respect your opinions and input. Reasonable professionals. A GREAT place for your pets. I have used them for many years and for quite a few furr babies. Always easy to get an appointment. (even immediate for worried dog moms) Good prices. Very kind Doctor. I have brought my dog and cat to the hospital for 3 years now and couldn't recommend it more! Bringing my pets to the hospital is always a pleasant experience. The hospital is kept clean and the employees are very friendly. They really do care about me and my animals and offer me genuine advice, instead of just trying to sell services. The manager, Stephanie, always jokes with me and makes me feel welcome. Dr. Ali is honest and very good at his job. I've been to several other vets in the past and always felt like they did more than what was necessary or took advantage of me. However, I completely trust Dr. Ali to do only what is needed and take care of my animals. He is an all-around great man. I also really like their boarding facility! It's so convenient to be able to be able to drop off my dog and know that she's being well cared for. I don't have to worry about sending her vaccine records to other boarding facilities because they have all of the information right there and if she is due for a vaccine required for boarding they can just do it while she's staying there. It's such a relief knowing that if there was some kind of medical emergency there is already a vet right there to take care of her. The Animal Clinic of Spring Grove takes great care of my pets. Went to this clinic for the first time a couple weeks ago with our German Shepard. I have to say I wouldn't trust my animals with ANYONE but the staff and doctors at this clinic. The front desk staff was very welcoming and friendly. They were also very accommodating with the times that we could come in. We immediately felt right at home and so did our Shepard. In fact, he laid down right away and was very calm!!! Dr. Ali was fabulous. He was very patient and gentle. He took his time with us to really make sure that our dog was getting the quality care he deserves. I couldn't be happier with our decision to come here. We have finally found our vet to call home. These people are horrible. The doctor is great but the slow useless front desk staff are causing us to switch vets. Called due to a possible uti in our puppy. Got told they can see her in 4 days. 4DAYS! They said drop off urine, which we did on friday. Fri no call. Sat no call. Monday called and no call back! Had to physically go into the office to get answers! Meanwhile our puppy has been grinding her teeth and peeing everywhere. Doc had the results sat but the "wonderful front desk staff" failed to call us. Finally get the results. Uti. Got the meds and leaving this horrible practice. I wish I didn't feel the need to write this. They were the vets for our cat and we never felt like they didn't care for him. They did, and everyone there was nice. However when you're in that line of business there isn't room for a lot of error. When our cat reached his final days we were heartbroken and took him there to be put to sleep.  They did two things wrong, one of which I can never forgive them for. We asked for a paw print, so we would have something to remember him by, and they cremated him without doing it.  That was totally devastating. A second issue I had was we weren't really told what to expect, exactly what was going to happen when they gave the lethal drugs to our guy.  I wish someone would have told us that he would die with his eyes open. I wasn't prepared for that. It was the first animal I had where I was in the room for their final moments. It's something I can never forget. I can forgive that one though. It can't be easy for the vet either. Still, that's something that needs to be covered, in my opinion.  Anyhow, the people there do care but we have had to go elsewhere with our two new cats and we are very pleased. Read Less

We had our miniature schnauzer put down on Monday 11/9. My mom, dad, and myself brought her and were absolutely devastated. My mom and dad went in, by I stayed in the waiting room. I was sitting in the waiting room sobbing, when Dr. Ali walked out of the room. He walked up to me with a Kleenex box and sat down next to me. He explained to me that what were doing, was the best for Abby. She was miserable and the seizures would not get better, she was in a better place. I felt so comforted and like he truly cared about us and Abby. Everything went so smooth and fast. Wonderful doctors, wonderful staff. Made us feel comforted during a very difficult time. I brought my kitten there to get neutered and declawed as they had the cheapest price in the area. When I got home I had a certain amount of Medicine to give him.  They wrote down the wrong amount and it was way too much. He became very lethargic. I thought this was just the medicine calming him down but then he began to have diarrhea. They did nothing but apologize for their mistake at first, then finally reimbursed me when I asked to be for this horrible error. My cat had diarrhea for weeks and I felt horrible I had made him so sick when he had just had surgeries. Even though they rectified the situation I just can't go back there. Read Less

I've been through at least half a dozen vets whom I didn't like. I finally feel comfortable and in good hands here. Everyone I've dealt with is competant and caring. Thank you for really caring about Chuckie and not just trying to make the bill bigger!
