Dr. Nelson and her staff are wonderful to my extremely difficult cats. We didn't know what to do when no one else could help my cat with neurological and seizure disorders. This is ridiculous! I called to find out if I could get my cat's nail clipped and the response I got was "'yes if your an established customer." This is discrimination. How do you become an established customer if you can't even get in the frickin' door? This is stupid. I hate arrogant, self-serving places like this that think they are better than everyone else. I used to love coming here, but due to my recent experience I must say that I'm more than disappointed. During a "shots" visit, Dr Nelson informed me that my cat GG needed her teeth cleaned. I informed the Dr that We were moving out of state in the next week, so we set the teeth cleaning appointment for the next morning, and paid the $600 in advanced for the cleaning plus an extraction. Now mind you, this was scheduled for literally 16 hours down the road, and the doctor worked us in. That night, we realized that our move had to be bumped up 2 days. I called the doctors office the next morning an hour before the appointment to ask if our cat would be okay still getting her teeth cleaned since we had to leave sooner. We were told that the doctor would have to call us back. So, my husband went ahead and took our cat in for her cleaning, to be respectful of their time, rather than waiting on a phone call. An hour or so later, Dr Nelson calls us and says she doesn't feel comfortable performing the procedure since we will be traveling so far so soon. Who am I to disagree, right? I'm no doctor. So my husband goes back across town to get our cat, and got a "refund" for the procedure. A month later I realize that the charges didn't add up, so I'm calling the doctor and the card company. Neither one can figure out where the extra charge came from. A few weeks later I'm dissecting my bill because I know it isn't right, and I realize that Dr Nelson charged me a $100 cancellation fee for something that she "worked in" and SHE cancelled. I tried to call them to ask questions, and the receptionist said someone would call me back, and 1 month later I've heard nothing. I guess since I'm out of state now, and they know I won't be spending money there, they don't care how unfair this is. I get the whole cancellation fee thing, but when YOU cancel on ME I feel it is not fair. Especially since I couldn't have cancelled 24 hours in advanced, since the appointment wasn't made 24 hours in advanced. And, My other cat is 19 years old... has kidney failure, high blood pressure, and hyper thyroid. I'd spent a lot of money at this vet with him and never once complained about money. But sometimes it's about customer service, respect for your clientele, and the principal of the matter. Read Less

I only wish I'd taken my elderly cat to Dr. Nelson sooner. Dr. Nelson is thorough and competent. She confirmed my suspicions that my 19 year old cat is now blind, likely due to undiagnosed high blood pressure. My cat also suffers from hyperthyroidism, chronic kidney failure, a heart murmur, and a low white blood cell count, but she still seems content and has the will to live. I'm confident Dr. Nelson will make Gabby's final years the best they can be. Read Less

Dr. Nelson has added close to 2 years of good quality life to my little Brujita. Brujita is a sweetie at home, yet quite vicious once she leaves her usual surroundings. My old vet refused to treat her. She is paralyzed in her back end, but with Doctor Nelsons expertise and love for cats, and her wonderful staff who get "Brujitalized" about every 6 weeks, my little sweetie is living a happy, fat an sassy life. We thank them all so much for treating her and her brother Bo Bo (he's no peach in public either) with such dignity and respect and love. Read Less

Dr. Nelson is a very skilled veterinarian.  Both of my cats had extremely serious health problems (not at the same time) and I can honestly say that she saved one's life.  Unfortunately, the other one developed an exceedingly rare condition as a result of a surgery and had to be put to sleep. Before we got to that point though, Dr. Nelson took time out of her personal schedule to find out what was wrong.  Apparently this even included pouring over old text books to find the cause.  It is obvious that she is a very dedicated and intelligent vet.  The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable as well.  They always greet you with a smile and treat your pet like their own.However, I'm forced to only give All Cat Clinic three stars because of their price.  Between our two cats, we nearly went broke paying for their care.  I feel that normal day-to-day care such as shots could be performed at a much lower price point somewhere else.  In addition, we have been nickle and dimed here before.  They once charged us three dollars for a demonstration on how to give our cat a pill.  In conclusion, if you have the money, by all means take your cat here.  If you are on a tight budget like us though, it might be prudent to look elsewhere. Before bringing my cat to All Cat Clinic, she had been going to another vet where they had no idea what was wrong with her. They treated her with steroids shots for two years with no success. We were at wits end. She could barely walk and almost bald. We checked the internet and found All Cats Clinic. Our first visit was about 6 or 7 months ago. Furbul was almost bald, scabbed all over and was scratching until she started bleeding. I had to carry her around like an infant. Dr. Nelson and her staff were great. They ran various tests on her and we were extremely nervous. They started her on some medication. It was a long fight but we started seeing Furbul's hair grow back, scabs going away. Today Furbul is the long hair cat I originally had. I greatly appreciate Dr. Nelson and her staff for all they did for my cat.Read Less

If you consider your cats family as I do, there is no question that they should receive the very best vet care which is what you will find here. Although the cost at the All Cat Clinic is a little higher than at most other vets, the cost is justified and well worth it. The quality of care provided is well above that of any other vet I have ever been to. Dr. Nelson knows cats better than any other animal doctor I have encountered. When Dr. Nelson discovered a heart problem with one of my cats Dr. Nelson did not "sugar coat" anything in regards to the possibilities of what could happen with my cat, but at the same time was very supportive. She gave her suggestions and advice, but did not try to push me to make any decisions. I made the decision to have the cat euthanized and the staff was extremely compassionate. I have also had a cat who I took to the emergency vet over the weekend and this cat was a mess from a urinary tract blockage. Dr. Nelson made a few changes to the plan given to me at the emergency vet and we had him feeling much better in a very short time! They are also amazing with cats that have extra bad attitudes. I have one cat who has actually been banned from one vet and another vet would not treat her without sedation. She has had many visits to the cat clinic and although she is still a huge pain, she is not nearly as afraid and anxious as she was at other vets. It is very obvious that Dr. Nelson and her staff know how to correctly handle the cats with nasty attitudes. I recently moved and brought my cats to the All Cat Clinic because it was closer to my house.  Both of my persians received extensive dental work, and they are feeling much better now, and I am grateful for the quality of treatment they received, but  I will be bringing them back to their old clinic across town because I feel they received the same level of care at a much, much lower cost. The staff was kind to my cats, very cooperative, and called me every day afterwards to check on their status (which I thought was nice, but excessive).  Bottom line, I did not appreciate being price-gouged on the supplements they sold me to pay for their lavish new building.  Also, they primarily practice allopathic medicine, and i prefer a more holistic approach. Dr. Deana Nelson is a wonderfully skilled, caring individual. I have 2 cats, and have been going to the clinic since they were just months old.Appreciate the phone call after seeing them if I do a drop off service.The reason I only did 4 stars is:1. Since the practice has evolved, I have came into some contact with some staff members that could be friendlier. (I did notice that one staff member is no longer there, and now works for a florist across town....good riddance!)2. Prices have risen quite a bit over the yrs, I notice more when they went into the new building.All in all, I have recommended many friends, family & coworkers to them.
