We took our cat here for a declawing the day before Christmas Eve and everything went well.. The staff was informative and accommodating and prices were reasonable. We dropped off our kitten the day before Christmas Eve and went to pick her up Christmas Eve morning. Our cat, Eevee, seemed to be in some distress and was bleeding a bit from her paws when we went to pick her up, so SGAH had offered to keep her overnight free of charge to keep an eye on her. We decided to take her home so she'd be more comfortable, but the offer didn't go unnoticed and we appreciated it. There weren't any complications with Eevee's declawing and now, 3 months later, she's as happy and cuddly as ever! Thanks again Sugar Grove Animal Hospital

Dr. Lancaster is great. We adopted a 8yr old cat and he was having severe digestive issues. To him to Wheaton first since it was closer but $900 later still he was suffering. Went to Dr. Lancaster and he listened and took an X-ray. Wound up out cats entire intestines was riddled with cancer. We only had him 4 months. Dr. Lancaster was so nice about it and let us know his options. It was best to put him down. Broke our hearts. That was our first cat and we take our new cat now just to see him. Worth the drive.

Today was the first time coming to SGAH and it was great!! We recently bought a Chinese Shar Pei and they are known for eye problems and we had been taking my puppy to the Naperville Animal Hospital and they were no help. One of her eyes were twitching for over a week, watery eyes, and somewhat red. She was constantly pawing at it and all the Naperville animal hospital did was give us an eye ointment which was 35 dollars and told us to come back and pay another 55 for a check up. They had no knowledge on what to do with shar peis. Dr. Lancaster was so great! He talked to us step by step about everything he was doing and instantly saw her eye lids rolling and he's already fixing the problem for us tomorrow. Definitely will keep this place as our primary!!

I comment to my FB friends every time I come here, and today isn't any different. Love this vet clinic and esp Dr Lancaster. They always have been on time, get you into a room right away, are extremely patient in answering all questions, gentle and patient with your pet, very clean, give you options for care, and their prices are extremely reasonable. As a rescue dog foster family, I've been to several vets and have many to compare. Sugar Grove AH beats the rest by a long shot.

We have been bringing our 2.5 year old Goldendoodle since we first brought her home. As first time pet parents, we have leaned on them many times for our questions or concerns. The facilities are new, clean & all the staff is a delight. I have always been able to get in the same day, talk with a tech to see if a Dr's visit is even warranted or even get a call from a vet to discuss whatever question/concern I have. They understand the crazy pet parents in all of us. Their prices are beyond reasonable. It's nice to be remembered there as well. If we ever move from the SG area, we will continue to stay with SG Animal Hospital.

Whenever I called with a question I was always got called back the same day by a Vet. When it was time to put my pet down they couldn't have been more compassionate. I am so happy I found a vet with such caring staff to take my babies. I have been disappointed by many vets in the past but all of the Doctors at Sugar Grove Animal Hospital are wonderful. They take their time and don't rush you off so you don't feel like it's just about the money for them. I have been to a few vets that made me feel that way. Even though I only brought my dog Felix in to have his claws trimmed, Dr Lancaster took the time to discuss some behavior issues that Felix has been having. I just can't say enough good things about them.

Can't say enough good about this place. I've been taking my pets there for over 10 years -- now driving all the way in from Saint Charles -- just because of the excellent, honest care my pets have received.Ex) A Saint Charles vet quoted $518 for a much needed cat dental cleaning. Was in and out for $208 at Sugar Grove. The vet was honest about the need for extras like bloodwork, etc. So appreciated.Ex) VCA in Aurora quoted over $2,000 when my cat swallowed a dime and needed it extracted (Yup... she's finicky about her food, but a dime!?). Sugar Grove did the surgery for roughly $700, taking excellent care of the cat the entire time, and with great communication.Highly recommend.

I have been bringing my fur babies to see the fabulous Dr. Zabel and his team at The Sugar Grove Animal Hospital for over 10 years now. In fact, my entire family trusts no one but this skilled and knowledge staff when it comes to their dogs, birds, and all other animals. Not only are their prices very affordable at the Sugar Grove Animal Hospital but the quality of their services is second to none. The vet techs are incredibly gentle and loving with my senior dog and they treat her like family. I could never say enough good things about them! They simply rock! I HIGHLY recommend them!

I love this animal hospital. My Mom has taken her pets here for years. I started taking my cat here and I love the doctors. They're very in to the animals. It's also clean and they don't try and get a bunch of money out of you. My friend recently took her dog to a clinic in Elburn and I wish I remembered the name. The vet there was horrible. The receptionists here are also very nice. I drive pretty far to come to this place but when you find a good vet it's worth it. If you're looking for a good vet that will be kind/patient with your animal bring them here!

The place is large, modern, well-equipped and scrupulously clean. Prices are reasonable too. There's a groomer there too for convenience. I have used this vet for thirteen years and won't go anywhere else. You won't be disappointed in them. They really care about your pet!

We took our cat here for a declawing the day before Christmas Eve and everything went well.. The staff was informative and accommodating and prices were reasonable. We dropped off our kitten the day before Christmas Eve and went to pick her up Christmas Eve morning. Our cat, Eevee, seemed to be in some distress and was bleeding a bit from her paws when we went to pick her up, so SGAH had offered to keep her overnight free of charge to keep an eye on her. We decided to take her home so she'd be more comfortable, but the offer didn't go unnoticed and we appreciated it. There weren't any complications with Eevee's declawing and now, 3 months later, she's as happy and cuddly as ever! Thanks again Sugar Grove Animal Hospital

Dr. Lancaster is great. We adopted a 8yr old cat and he was having severe digestive issues. To him to Wheaton first since it was closer but $900 later still he was suffering. Went to Dr. Lancaster and he listened and took an X-ray. Wound up out cats entire intestines was riddled with cancer. We only had him 4 months. Dr. Lancaster was so nice about it and let us know his options. It was best to put him down. Broke our hearts. That was our first cat and we take our new cat now just to see him. Worth the drive.

Today was the first time coming to SGAH and it was great!! We recently bought a Chinese Shar Pei and they are known for eye problems and we had been taking my puppy to the Naperville Animal Hospital and they were no help. One of her eyes were twitching for over a week, watery eyes, and somewhat red. She was constantly pawing at it and all the Naperville animal hospital did was give us an eye ointment which was 35 dollars and told us to come back and pay another 55 for a check up. They had no knowledge on what to do with shar peis. Dr. Lancaster was so great! He talked to us step by step about everything he was doing and instantly saw her eye lids rolling and he's already fixing the problem for us tomorrow. Definitely will keep this place as our primary!!

I comment to my FB friends every time I come here, and today isn't any different. Love this vet clinic and esp Dr Lancaster. They always have been on time, get you into a room right away, are extremely patient in answering all questions, gentle and patient with your pet, very clean, give you options for care, and their prices are extremely reasonable. As a rescue dog foster family, I've been to several vets and have many to compare. Sugar Grove AH beats the rest by a long shot.

We have been bringing our 2.5 year old Goldendoodle since we first brought her home. As first time pet parents, we have leaned on them many times for our questions or concerns. The facilities are new, clean & all the staff is a delight. I have always been able to get in the same day, talk with a tech to see if a Dr's visit is even warranted or even get a call from a vet to discuss whatever question/concern I have. They understand the crazy pet parents in all of us. Their prices are beyond reasonable. It's nice to be remembered there as well. If we ever move from the SG area, we will continue to stay with SG Animal Hospital.

Whenever I called with a question I was always got called back the same day by a Vet. When it was time to put my pet down they couldn't have been more compassionate. Just an amazing place with great staff.

I am so happy I found a vet with such caring staff to take my babies. I have been disappointed by many vets in the past but all of the Doctors at Sugar Grove Animal Hospital are wonderful. They take their time and don't rush you off so you don't feel like it's just about the money for them. I have been to a few vets that made me feel that way. Even though I only brought my dog Felix in to have his claws trimmed, Dr Lancaster took the time to discuss some behavior issues that Felix has been having. I just can't say enough good things about them.

Can't say enough good about this place. I've been taking my pets there for over 10 years -- now driving all the way in from Saint Charles -- just because of the excellent, honest care my pets have received.Ex) A Saint Charles vet quoted $518 for a much needed cat dental cleaning. Was in and out for $208 at Sugar Grove. The vet was honest about the need for extras like bloodwork, etc. So appreciated.Ex) VCA in Aurora quoted over $2,000 when my cat swallowed a dime and needed it extracted (Yup... she's finicky about her food, but a dime!?). Sugar Grove did the surgery for roughly $700, taking excellent care of the cat the entire time, and with great communication.Highly recommend.

I have been bringing my fur babies to see the fabulous Dr. Zabel and his team at The Sugar Grove Animal Hospital for over 10 years now. In fact, my entire family trusts no one but this skilled and knowledge staff when it comes to their dogs, birds, and all other animals. Not only are their prices very affordable at the Sugar Grove Animal Hospital but the quality of their services is second to none. The vet techs are incredibly gentle and loving with my senior dog and they treat her like family. I could never say enough good things about them! They simply rock! I HIGHLY recommend them!

I love this animal hospital. My Mom has taken her pets here for years. I started taking my cat here and I love the doctors. They're very in to the animals. It's also clean and they don't try and get a bunch of money out of you. My friend recently took her dog to a clinic in Elburn and I wish I remembered the name. The vet there was horrible. The receptionists here are also very nice. I drive pretty far to come to this place but when you find a good vet it's worth it. If you're looking for a good vet that will be kind/patient with your animal bring them here!

The place is large, modern, well-equipped and scrupulously clean. Prices are reasonable too. There's a groomer there too for convenience. I have used this vet for thirteen years and won't go anywhere else. You won't be disappointed in them. They really care about your pet!
