7/2/18 was our first visit with Dr. Kinnunen. From the moment we walked into the clinic, the front desk person was very kind, the veterinary technician was awesome with our kitty, and Dr. Kinnunen was absolutely wonderful. She made sure all of our questions were answered and didn't rush us like we feel we have been at other veterinary clinics. She took care of our baby by referring us to the best Specialist in Dermatology she knew and we see them next week. We will definitely be a return customer. Thank you for all you do!

I had a very sick cat that is somewhat feral that I had caught to bring in to be checked out. Unfortunately your office in Troy was closed so called the Shiloh office a little after 8. Allison told me she would call me back after talking to the Dr. and she called back less than 5 min. Thank you for that. Allison told me to come on down and they would fit me in. My assumption was right and unfortunately my cat needed to be put down so was pleased when they did not make we wait until Monday. First time I had met Dr. Kinnunen and have to say she was wonderful. Very concerned and very comforting. Much to my surprise when your tech Amanda walked around the corner. Love her from the Troy office so was nice to see a familiar face. She is the best! Even fitting me in, they did not rush me, they did not make me feel that I was pushed through and wanted me to take as long as I needed. I know vet costs can get high and you always wonder if you could find something cheaper out there but the times like these are when the Troy Vet and Shiloh Vet Clinic are worth their weight in gold. I highly recommend the Shiloh Veterinary Clinic. The staff and veterinary technicians are very friendly and welcoming. The doctors are professional, helpful and very skilled with animals. Even after moving more than 45 minutes away, I keep coming back to this clinic for my pets since they do such a wonderful job.

Wonderful treatment from the minute we made the appointment until the end of the visit. We also made an emergency visit as we were concerned about our puppy. Dr. Mears was very patient with two very new puppy owners and was able to reassure us. He gave our puppy a very thorough examination. The staff are great, very efficient, very friendly, and take their time to make sure we have all the answers to our questions.

No doubt he is a good vet but he will empty your pockets. Charged me $200 to treat a hot spot twice within a few months. I agree he does unnecessary tests that don't have to be performed. I changed vets and was charged half the cost. Also the staff will harass you if you didn't get your pet from the pound or rescue. I have not been at this vet for a few years and will never go back. I am sure the expensive charges are to help pay the rent in the very nice office space.

I brought my border collie here to be fixed and get some required vaccinations. Overall, I like them. Very friendly staff. My dog is aggressive toward new people, but they handled him well and did not require him to be muzzled. I'd give it five stars except it is just so expensive. If you are on a budget, I'd not bother. We have been there 3 times now I think and never get out for less than $100. His neutering was very costly. But they are knowledgeable and skilled, so you get what you pay for.

The staff here are awesome! When we moved to IL we left behind a great vet in MO and they set the bar high for what we were looking for in a new vet. The first vet we tried in Shiloh definitely didn't live up to these expectations so on a whim we decided to try Dr. Mears. We knew right away we'd found our new vet. The staff are always friendly and concerned. Dr. Mears takes time to discuss anything you need or have questions about. Staff will even call a couple times to check up on your pet after a procedure. They really are a great place for your pets...and for your wallet. Dr. Mears even recommended we try ordering a medication online since it might be cheaper that way. Who does that?! Five stars yayyyyy.

I have been taking my pets here since Dr. Mears took over the practice years ago. I have never found a more caring and compassionate Veterinarian or staff than this. I don't feel like we are just another number or another dollar in their pocketbook. I saw one review that stated how expensive they are. Taking your pets to the vet is not cheap. I find the prices comparable to other offices but you also have to take into consideration that you get what you pay for. I have always been able to drop off my pet & come back later at my convenience if needed, they have always been more than flexible with appointment times & Dr. Mears or his staff always follow up after appointments with questions or concerns. I feel like they treat my pets as their own. I had to put my dog to sleep today and I am so grateful that Dr. Mears was by our side every step of the way. It was so incredibly difficult but he made it bearable because he is amazing at his job & deeply cares. I would give him and his staff 100 stars if I could.

I have gotten plenty of advice from the techs over the years that has been really helpful. They are so easy and helpful to work with! I won't go anywhere else!

The first vet we tried in Shiloh definitely didn't live up to these expectations so on a whim we decided to try Dr. Mears. We knew right away we'd found our new vet. The staff are always friendly and concerned. Dr. Mears takes time to discuss anything you need or have questions about. Staff will even call a couple times to check up on your pet after a procedure. They really are a great place for your pets...and for your wallet. Dr. Mears even recommended we try ordering a medication online since it might be cheaper that way. Who does that?! Five stars yayyyyy.

I have been taking my pets here since Dr. Mears took over the practice years ago. I have never found a more caring and compassionate Veterinarian or staff than this. I don't feel like we are just another number or another dollar in their pocketbook. I saw one review that stated how expensive they are. Taking your pets to the vet is not cheap. I find the prices comparable to other offices but you also have to take into consideration that you get what you pay for. I have always been able to drop off my pet & come back later at my convenience if needed, they have always been more than flexible with appointment times & Dr. Mears or his staff always follow up after appointments with questions or concerns. I feel like they treat my pets as their own. I had to put my dog to sleep today and I am so grateful that Dr. Mears was by our side every step of the way. It was so incredibly difficult but he made it bearable because he is amazing at his job & deeply cares. I would give him and his staff 100 stars if I could.

They are very accommodating when I need to squeeze her in for an appointment, and they charge fair prices. They also give a military discount. I have gotten plenty of advice from the techs over the years that has been really helpful. They are so easy and helpful to work with! I won't go anywhere else!
