Dr. Stacey and the rest of the staff were so good with my dog yesterday! He just needed vaccines but he’s a lab mix who is scared of everything and everyone in the vet’s office and is often a little crabby because of it. I took my niece to the Jr Vet day event at Countryside and it was Awesome!!! The staff had everything organized and it was fun for kids and educational!! They did an amazing job!! This clinic is amazing!!! Not only do they have competitive prices, but they truly care about the animals they see. I have been looking everywhere for a great veterinary staff that is familiar with the Bengal breed since I am a very cautious breeder and I do my absolute best to ensure the utmost health of my cats. Even though it was an hour drive for me to bring kittens to be seen I ask very glad that they were able to see my little babies with such short notice. This may be a wonderful place for veterinary care but as far as boarding goes, not so much. I took three dogs for an overnight stay. Upon checking out, I asked how their stay had been. The staff’s response was, “I don’t know, I haven’t even been back to the kennel. But, no news is good news, right.” I never did get any report on how their stay was. Won’t be back!! Read Less

I wouldn’t go anywhere else in the area because of the awesome service and respect they give! I especially appreciated the compassion they gave for our little family members. We love countryside and highly recommend everyone to go here. Our dog has been coming for 2 years and we've good experience with his checkups/shots. We have also done boarding several times for vacations and when we had our newborn this year. Even with unexpectedly been stuck at the hospital longer countryside was very nice about us having to add a few more days than we had planned. Balto is always happy to go to the vet and happy when picked up so we trust that he has good b...oarding experience. We have been happy with grooming results and love the $10 Bath days. It's also the little things such as after we picked Balto up from boarding this year we got a congratulations baby boy card in the mail. Then yesterday having a worker come out to the car as I was going to get baby boy and Balto out and she came and grabbed Balto so I didn't have to which was a nice surprise as well. Countryside and Dr. Meghan came highly recommended by our breeder because of their experience working with Great Danes. We traveled from 75 miles away with our one-year old Dane, Cosi, for a spay and stomach tack (gastroplexy). The surgery went well and the whole team at Countryside was great! This is going to be long but I want people to understand the kind of compassion and knowledge this vet clinic has for animals. We have had Dr. Stacey for our vet for approximately 8 years. In those 8 years she has taken care of our goats, cows and german shepherds. They have saved goats, a calf and most of all one of our shepherds from liver damage. Tell me what vet comes to your house at 10:00 at night with her husband and 2 month old child to help deliver puppies from a mam...a having trouble? I will tell you, Dr. Stacey. Tell me what vet researches something she has never seen before. Dr. Stacey. She as a vet wants answers to a particular illness she is not familiar with. I just want to say thank you Dr. Stacey for saving or Diva and your diligence in trying to find answers for our beloved Gabby. With out you I know we would have lost them both. The best care possible. I have had multiple dogs all my life and went to a big Springfield vet for years. I discovered Countryside via the breeder where I got my smooth Collies. Ralphie had bitten a rib bone he filched from the trash, in half and swallowed the long, razor sharp piece whole. I highly recommend anyone to them. They were very caring and friendly when called in after hours to help out an animal of ours. They are excellent with our husky and cat. When we board our husky he is very excited to go with them. I am very appreciative of the monthly emails that give a lot of educational information and especially the promotions. Dr. Meghan and Dr. Stacey have been so helpful in taking care of our dogs. After our fire they made themselves available to treat our dogs to ensure that there was no complications due to smoke inhalation. It was comforting to know that we did not have the extra stress of waiting to have them treated. I appreciate that when we call for an appointment almost 100% of the time we are seen that day! So glad we made the decision to switch to Countryside Vet! Even though we live in Springfield it is worth it. We initially went there as both of our dogs required surgery and I was impressed with the staff. Their knowledge and communication they had with me regarding what to expect as both dogs were having different types of surgery put me at ease. After seeing how they treated "my girls" I made the decision to switch to them for their regular care as well. I agree with others that they do have great prices and did not cost as much other vets. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. We were in town for the holidays from Denver, and our dog was hit by a car while there. We were able to get right into the Dr. to be seen. I would definitely recommend this fine facilitie to anyone who truly loves their pet. For me personally, I treat my dog better than some people treat their children and from the moment I stepped foot in the office, both I and my dog instantly knew it was for us, it is very clean and both you and your dog will be taken care of by this amazing staff. To top it all off, every time my dog is returned to me, she's freshly showered and pampered with a little bandana (she normally bites it off though). I am a Dane breeder and also have horses. We have been using countryside for several years. They have always gone above and beyond for me. they have saved many many of my dogs/puppies lives, and dr stacy has found the cause of things multiple other vets have missed AND fixed them. Do not board your dog here if it is a small dog. Picked my dog up and he smelled like urine and his bedding was being washed. My dog has never once gone in his kennel. He is absolutely housebroken. Now he is urinating in his kennel and on the floor. I called them to ask if he had been having any accidents in his kennel and they had no idea. They informed me the dogs are allowed out three times a day. Three times a day and a 24 hour period? You have got to be kidding me. Read Less

I wouldn't trust anyone else with my dog. When your dog is a part of your family, you only trust the best. I do believe that this group of Dr's and staff at Countryside are the best for our furry family member! The front office staff is always helpful and greet you promptly when you walk through the door. All of the Dr's are fabulous. I've generally dealt with Dr. Stacey and she understands how important my dog is and she respects and loves him like we do. Countryside's groomers are also great to work with. They are always quick to call like we ask so our spoiled dog, doesn't have to stay all day boarded. We've also called after hours and they made a special trip in to the office to make sure he was alright. The entire staff is wonderful, you really couldn't ask for a better place. AWESOME!!! I have utilized numerous veterinary clinics in the Springfield area during my years owning & showing dogs. The clinic does its own emergency calls, which I find comforting on those rare occasions that I have needed them. It's one less strain on the emotions to know, the vet that has been caring for your pet, is also the vet that will be there in an emergency to treat your pet.Drs. Stacey & Megahn will take the time necessary to discuss with you the necessary treatment for your pet. The clinic staff is warm & welcoming.
