I cannot say enough positive things about this place. At a lot of veterinarians in the Chicagoland area, you're paying for a visual experience: granite counter-tops, polished floors, etc. The money for all those premium upgrades has to come from someplace, and that place is your wallet! This place is no frills in the best way possible. It's small, clean, and the staff are wonderful. Friendly and understanding, they aren't salesmen trying to push unnecessary tests and medications. Their prices are also the unrivaled best in the area. DO NOT LET YOURSELF BE TURNED OFF BY THEIR LOW PRICES! You are not compromising your pets' health by refusing to pay sky-high prices at a another vet who is going to provide literally the exact same level of care. We have had 3 small dogs (all under 10 pounds) spayed by Dr. Kumar, and all 3 have come out perfectly and recovered quickly. We drive almost 40 minutes out to visit his clinic because he (and all of the other staff) are so great. I am so thankful that a clinic like this exists in this area. My puppy had cryptorchidism (undescended testicles) & needed surgery to remove them in order to avoid getting testicular cancer. I was at a loss as every vet I called cost anywhere from $800-$1000 to neuter him, since he was a special case, but I’m so happy I kept looking & found Ad Park. They were able to do his surgery & give me meds/antibiotics for a fraction of the expected price. The staff & doctor were excellent & I was able to take him home that day. He was back to his regular self the next day & he didn’t get any infections on his incision site. I’m so grateful for them, my dog could have faced so much illness had I not found them. My dog had his k9 tooth extracted, teeth cleaned, rabie shots, nails clipped, and medications from surgery all for a price that you can find Anywhere. I took my pup to a Vet In Schaumburg and paid 60 for a visit to tell me it will cost between 650 to 1,000 to have what I had done today at Ad park pet clinic for a fraction of that price. I saved alot of money and very appreciative that they helped my dog. I recommend this place to everyone who wants Grade A work done at a Very reasonable price. You will not regret your visit. Let me start by saying, I have been taking my 8 yr old pug to Dr. Kumar since 2010. I am so happy I found Ad Park because I found out the hard way that unfortunately some veterinarians will take advantage of you. Dr. Kumar may not have the fanciest office, but it is always very clean and neat. Dr. Kumar may not be warm and fuzzy as some reviewers agree, however, he is attentive, professional and he has very affordable prices. The staff is nice & you can tell they love animals! I just took my pug in today for dental cleaning and extractions. I will continue to take my pug to Ad Park and I highly recommend anyone to take their pet(s) there too! Read Less

I like this place so far..  well, this is only my first visit, but the staff seems nice and friendly, and Dr. Kumar seems to know what he's doing. The price isn't bad either.I think they should replace the sign outside...All it is, is an old white "PET CLINIC" sign above the windows. They could start remodeling the place with a more appealing outdoor sign. anyways...Well, we didn't pay for the place to look nice.. we paid to get our kitten checked up and vaccinated, and Dr. Kumar did well with that, so that's all that matters. It's a pretty good place to get your pets checked and fixed up! I recommend this place to anyone who doesn't care about being fancy shmancy and who's looking for a reasonable price on their pet's care. So far, it seems like it deserves all its good reviews. Ad Park Pet Clinic is the absolute only place I'll take my pets (2 dogs & 3 cats).  I had some really bad previous experiences before finding them.  My pets respect the heck out of Dr. Kumar and the staff treat them as if they were their own.  I've always been accommodated in urgent situations, minimal wait times and never even question affordability.  I love how they remember us, don't try to "sell" me anything, and provide good old traditional service.  I think they focus solely on the pets and can keep it affordable because they don't do it to rob you of your money.  Thank you Ad Park!! No frills, affordable clinic.  Our regular vet is in Indiana because the burbs are so expensive, but when we have an emergency this is the place to go.  We had to have two of our cats put down and we had it done here.  very compassionate staff. Read Less

Doctor Kumar is great, he isn't much of a smiler but he does listen to your concerns and cares for your pet. And his staff is awesome they really show they care and make you feel at home. This is the first clinic that actually helped my pet, and Dr. Kumar was great at eliminating all factors and finding out what the problem is, because of him my dog is on his way to a full recovery. This place is simple and affordable. The staff really seems to care about your pet. My last vet (in a different state) gave my chihuahua all of her yearly vaccines, kennel cough nose drops, and a 3 year rabies vaccine all at once, which caused a horrible reaction. This vet pointed out how careless it was and suggested giving the vaccines one at a time in two week rounds to pinpoint which, if any, caused a reaction, in case it wasn't due to receiving too many at once. They also refuse to do an invasive fecal exam, which I found thoughtful toward your pet. Just have to bring in a poop sample.I was initially afraid to come here due to its location and outdated appearance, but so far it really lives up to the positive reviews. Caring, Compassionate, Cooperative ...I had a lot of stray cat activity in my yard this year and as I result, had to get three female kittens spayed.  I contacted a lot of agencies and in the end, I wanted an affordable and very local way to get the kittens fixed at a reasonable price.  I walked into Ad Park as a last resort and was so impressed that they actually offered year-round discount spaying.  The kittens made it through the spaying well, and then went back for stitch removal. I just literally walked in and got taken care of - not hassle appointments. Then I had another stray situation - this time a long-time visitor to my yard needed to be evaluated because of badly infected front paws. Dr. Kumar listened to me and looked at my large and uncooperative frightened friend and suggested that the cat stay overnight, get a tranquilizer and allow him to get blood work done and adequately clean his paws and administer injections.  Dr. Kumar administered the right meds thoughtfully and explained the course of treatment to me. I have had vets and cats for 40 years and I must say that I like Dr. Kumar's easy manner and gentle approach very much. I have had vets that were high on their own egos and pushed a lot of services, tests, procedures. There is nothing of that kind going on here. Is the parking lot in the strip mall busy - yes.  Is the clinic itself modest in decor, yes. But it's very clean and the staff is amazing, considerate, kind, and interested. Dr. Kumar  and his staff are doing good work, at fair prices.  (I have had some of the best food in the world at hole-in-the-wall restaurants, and while Ad Park is not a hole in the wall = I am trying to use a food analogy to expain why the cosmetic environment is not important to the outcome.) We cremated our last dog there and the office sent a sympathy card and was very supportive. Last year, over Labor Day our puppy was sick and had to be observed while on antibiotics / IV fluids-- we were allowed to bring him home and monitor him-if he got worse we were to take him to an emergency 24hr vet (received 2 names and numbers). He got better from the IV fluids and we did not have a huge medical bill for monitoring at a emergency clinic since it was a holiday weekend. Very grateful. Highly recommend Dr. Kumar and his staff. My dog needed her shots updated and after calling different vet clinics I liked this one the best because of the price.  To get all the shots done for one of my dogs, it would have cost over $300.00 with some other pet clinics.  However, with Ad Park Pet Clinic, it only cost a total of $124.00.The experience we had was a pleasant one.  The wait wasn't that long with an appointment.  The front receptionist was welcoming and helpful as it was the our first time there.  The Veterinarian was very sweet with my dog, and also gentle.  So, Sophie was at ease and comfortable with him.  With the nurse in the room with us while administering her shots, it made it easier for Sophie to be brave and not freak out like I thought she would.  Everyone in the facility was just really great.  I would definitely come back here for my other dog's shots. Dog recentley was ill and called other Vets in the area and they told me around $1800 - $ 2300 to Observe him overnight and to flush his stomach and hook him up to an I.V. Really??? Called Dr. Kumar and told me all that was not necassary and Took care of my Loved One and only cost me $250. Great prices, clean office, runs on time, Dr Kumar was gentle with my dog and did a great job spaying my dog.   Their office is nothing fancy but it is clean and they was run efficiently.  The staff was friendly. My dog's stitches healed up nicely.Their prices are fantastic!   I drove a 1/2 hour each way on a toll road to get to this office when I have at least 10 vets within a 5 minute drive from my home. The four stars are because of the price. The place is old and in a junky strip mall with only the words "Pet Clinic" as their sign. They still have wood paneling on the walls from the 70s. If they did a little remodeling or even just cleaned the dirt out of the corners I am sure they could attract more customers. But! I will gladly look the other way for the prices they charge and the friendliness of the staff. I was quoted from $500 - to $1500 for a feline teeth cleaning at another vet. AD park charged me $137! They have the best service and the lowest price I have been able to find. The staff is very loving and caring about my dogs. I got my puppy neutered there and she tore her stiches and they fixed it and gave me new meds for free! THe vet took his time to explain everything and listened to all my concerns about my older dog.
