I took my cat here for a sore paw and Dr Moulder was so nice, as was all the staff. They have clean facilities. I absolutely love the office cats!!! I will definitely be coming back here!

I have been going here for the past 3 years and just saying my dog is not good with strangers and they have been good but this last time I went the helper in the room was trying to hold my dog by her ...
I have been going here for the past 3 years and just saying my dog is not good with strangers and they have been good but this last time I went the helper in the room was trying to hold my dog by her coller and my dog took off and she didn’t let go and then my dog was hanging in the air and I was not happy about even though it was only a second or two I probably will not be going back here

We moved back to this area a few months ago and needed to take our dog in for a sneezing problem. I called here to bring him in and was told the next opening was in 4 days...I said no thanks and wait...
We moved back to this area a few months ago and needed to take our dog in for a sneezing problem. I called here to bring him in and was told the next opening was in 4 days...I said no thanks and waited another day, fortunately the next day he was much better.Last week I was pet sitting my daughter's 5 month old puppy who developed a severe stomach issue so I called here again. I explained the problem and the urgency needed to bring her in.....sorry, the next appointment we can give you is 4 days from now. I said she really needs to be checked right away.....sorry, 4 days. I went 2 miles down the street to another vet who saw her right away. I will NEVER call Wauconda animal hospital again.

My dog Spike has had terrible ear infections since we first got him in 2007. He was so miserable, he would bite, growl and snarl whenever we tried to get near his ears. 2 vets tried different treatments with no success and then we tried Wauconda, and they fixed him! He's a completely different dog now! So sweet and loving and not nearly as miserable. He gets a treatment every 6 weeks or whenever he starts scatching again. The procedure gets easier all the time. Thank you to all the nurses and doctors for taking care of my little dude. <3

Vet and staff are caring and seemed genuinely interested in the best for our pets. Clean facility with plenty of room for multiple animals. Seemed very knowledgeable and on top of the least in animal medicine. Only knock is that it wasn't cheap, but you get what to pay for: in this case quality pet care. Recommended; will use again.

The staff is amazingly friendly and it does not have that typical antiseptic feel that a lot of vet offices have. I could not be happier with the team at Wauconda Animal Hospital.

So sorry because I loved Dr. Moulder, shes awesmoe, just wasnt happy at all with the other vet there. No compassion I hardly talked ot her. I talked to the tech more, I left with cough drops and meds for fleas. 2 weeks later I was flea free but thats it.I took him to Fox Lake Animal hospital, my dog had severe tooth infection and the infection was going to the chest area. got him antibiotics immediatley and did the dental work for 1/2 the price I was quoted here.

Helpful to have a local Veterinarian for our loving pets. I never had pets growing up but my husband always had dogs as pets. When we got our two Morkies, we decided to use a Vet in Mundelein. They were clean, modern offices, had about 8-10 Veterinarians on their staff and at least two front desk staff employees. BUT..... they were very expensive & ran every test imaginable. When you have two dogs, that adds up. So we decided to look for another Veterinarian that neighbors recommended. I still wanted a reputable one. Neighbors recommended Wauconda Animal Hospital. --When you walk in, you see wood paneling on the wall & vinyl tiles on the floor -- outdated. --However, their staff is very knowledgeable (doctors, techs & front desk). Everyone has been so nice to us & care about our dogs. --The big plus is they are reasonably priced & don't make your pet take a test unless they feel it's important for the diagnosis or recovery. --They have decent office hours (most of the weekdays, they are open until 7pm). --Their website offers a Pet Portal option to review your pets' records. --The only negative or constructive criticism I have is that they only have two Veterinarians. This means 1 Vet works each day. If they had one more Vet, they can handle more emergencies that come up. Those of us with pets know that they are family. We want our pets taking care of by someone we trust, and I trust Wauconda Animal Hospital.

I went to Wauconda Animal Hospital for the first time today as I am new to the area. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and very knowledgable. My cat was really unhappy about being there, and they really took their time with her and made me feel like we were priority one. The services provided were outstanding, and the prices were more than fair. I got my bill for the visit and had anticipated paying much more! I would definitely recommend Wauconda Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a vet in the Wauconda area!

The kindness, compassion, and gentle nature of Dr. Nemmers, and the tears in the eyes of the techs, Corinne, Tracy, and Jessica, helped a very difficult time bearable. When we got our new French Bulldog puppy, we used this as an opportunity to select a vet closer to our home. We chose WAH simply because it was in Wauconda. All is well because this place is great!! The staff is amazingly friendly and it does not have that typical antiseptic feel that a lot of vet offices have. I could not be happier with the team at Wauconda Animal Hospital.

We are looking forward to all future check ups. I especially liked to see the milkweed plants outside for the monarch butterflies. These vets truly care about all living creatures.

I have been going to Dr. Nemmer's for years.. I don't trust too many people with my animals and she is by far one of the best! She truly takes the time with the patients. She continues to get the answers if she does not have it at that time. Such a genuine person. The staff at Wauconda Animal Hospital is amazing.. Always making you feel warm in sometimes a tough situation.

We would highly recommend Wauconda Animal Hospital! They really care about your pets. We take our chocolate Lab there and have never had any issues. Dr. Nemmers, in particular, is a terrific Vet, but the other are also very, very good and so are the Techs who work there.

Ive been going here for 15+yrs. Havent been there in the last several yrs though. Took my dog in for breathing trouble (turns out he also had fleas and an abcessed tooth), Im never going back here. So sorry because I loved Dr. Moulder, shes awesmoe, just wasnt happy at all with the other vet there. No compassion I hardly talked ot her. I talked to the tech more, I left with cough drops and meds for fleas. 2 weeks later I was flea free but thats it.I took him to Fox Lake Animal hospital, my dog had severe tooth infection and the infection was going to the chest area. got him antibiotics immediatley and did the dental work for 1/2 the price I was quoted here.

Love this place. They all go above and beyond!!! They take such good care of my Max!!! They make the vet visit as stress free as they can. Wouldn't think of going anywhere else!!!!

Helpful to have a local Veterinarian for our loving pets. I never had pets growing up but my husband always had dogs as pets. When we got our two Morkies, we decided to use a Vet in Mundelein. They were clean, modern offices, had about 8-10 Veterinarians on their staff and at least two front desk staff employees. BUT..... they were very expensive & ran every test imaginable. When you have two dogs, that adds up. So we decided to look for another Veterinarian that neighbors recommended. I still wanted a reputable one. Neighbors recommended Wauconda Animal Hospital. --When you walk in, you see wood paneling on the wall & vinyl tiles on the floor -- outdated. --However, their staff is very knowledgeable (doctors, techs & front desk). Everyone has been so nice to us & care about our dogs. --The big plus is they are reasonably priced & don't make your pet take a test unless they feel it's important for the diagnosis or recovery. --They have decent office hours (most of the weekdays, they are open until 7pm). --Their website offers a Pet Portal option to review your pets' records. --The only negative or constructive criticism I have is that they only have two Veterinarians. This means 1 Vet works each day. If they had one more Vet, they can handle more emergencies that come up. Those of us with pets know that they are family. We want our pets taking care of by someone we trust, and I trust Wauconda Animal Hospital.

I went to Wauconda Animal Hospital for the first time today as I am new to the area. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and very knowledgable. My cat was really unhappy about being there, and they really took their time with her and made me feel like we were priority one. The services provided were outstanding, and the prices were more than fair. I got my bill for the visit and had anticipated paying much more! I would definitely recommend Wauconda Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a vet in the Wauconda area!

They have been very helpful in coping with Pudge's Cushing's disease. They are also very cognizant of keeping your bill to a minimum. I came to them after spending way too much at another area vet and getting no real answers on one of my other dogs. And while their prices seem to be about the same, their service and the fact that they will actually tell you what you DON'T need will save you money.
